This place is awesome. Whenever I need to do a quick repair, I come here. The staff are always helpful and polite and I havent asked a question which couldnt be answered. Conveniently located, aways clean, has a lot of hardware things, keys and key fobs and propane exchanges. You can even get your screen fixed there. Im so glad this place is near me. Its also nice to go to a hardware store without having to spend an hour just to find something.

Owners wife was rude. I understood I was coughing. But due to saw dust. I had to guess on two items I was not so knowledgeable about. We all know they are higher than Loews, but we go there for usually great customer service BTW I was wearing a mask and there was plexiglass between us.Hopefully a better experience next time.

Very nice hardware store. I love to shop here becuase of their customer service and is one of the few places I know that carry a nice selection of Benchmade and Buck knives. The staff is friendly and its as if they treat each other and their customers like family. Very good place to shop!

I love this place. Their new location is much bigger and has a better selection. They are slightly more expensive then a place like home depot. However what you get in return is personalized service. I often come here and explain what Im trying to build or fix and there is always an employee who will personally help me pick out all the materials and tools I need. Since its a small business the owners will occasionally give me a discount when buying items.

Excellent customer service. I was helped immediately. I came here for a remote key for a truck I just purchased. Saved me about $150 as well!

Expensive however all their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They will be able to guide you properly. And have almost everything you need for home improvement.

Very good they had what I wanted and also helped me to find the right product I needed to do a repair job as well. Now that I have the 2 items I can finish fixing 1 item and start the repair process for the other item. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

I am a back in Plainview, NY after moving away over 20 years ago. While here will be addressing several deferred maintenance issues at my aging father in-laws home. Today I made 7 trips to Trio for several items. Quicker than going to a big box stores, keeping timeline on finishing a task close to plan. They have EVERYTHING I needed, for all sorts of varied repairs. Like new store, staff very helpful.

Great Service. Nice People. I have been going there since I was a young boy. I remember over 40 years ago they helped me pick out parts for a home made go-cart that I crashed in hills in the Plainview Park Pool. They were nice back then and they are nice and helpful now. Just there today!

They have s motto if we dont have it, you dont need it . I moved to Old Bethpage 15 years ago and have been going to Trip since. You need it they more than likely have it.

I had and outside faucet that the stem broke. Could not match it anywhere. Bruce pulled out the broken screw, and cleaned out thethreads replaced the screw and washer and sent me on my way for.75 I will never go anywhere else again. I have always loved this placebig box stores will never replace what you find at TRIO

Until recently, I had forgotten about trips to the hardware store with my father when I was young. Usually, he would have some strange looking part from an old device that required replacement. Ya got one of these?, he would ask the gentleman behind the counter. More often than not, a nod and a brisk walk down an aisle would produce the new part.Trio brings that experience back from the brink of extinction, or perhaps theyve maintained that attitude of customer service that the competitors have forgotten. Sorry, I dont work in this department. or, I dont know what that is., has become so commonplace that I almost didnt even bother to ask for assistance.I for one applaud this Mom and Pop business, for maintaining a staple of the American past, and for carrying it into the future.
