Only reason Im not giving 5 stars is the ski boots I need for my wide feet werent in stock so I havent purchased anything from them yet. They were very knowledgeable and didnt try to sell me on another boot in stock and advised I wait. They truly appeared to have my best interest in mind and that goes a long way.

Dropped by yesterday for some new ski gear (skis, boots, poles, and an outfit). It’s the end of the season so I wasn’t expecting much, but I found exactly was I was looking for and better. Joe helped me out the whole time. I personally don’t know much about the ski tech, but Joe was very informative and REAL. I’m always very skeptical when making a purchase this big, but was very confident and comfortable the entire time because he didn’t serve me with BS. He was very patient the whole time and helped me make the best decision for myself (and at a great price). For the end of the season, there was such a wide selection from clothing to equipment. This will be the first place I think of when I need something in the winter or the summer. A great experience overall thanks to Joe. Sun & Ski does a great job when hiring experienced and informed staff.

Without question - the BEST Ski shop that I have visited. PERIOD. Apart from the fact that they honor the first-responders with great deals / discounted offers during these difficult times - their customer service alone outweighs buying online or from any other stores. They ACTUALLY let their products speak for themselves and the employees there are ACTUALLY helping you make the right choices. NOT basing it on the more expensive items, but the RIGHT ones.A REAL BIG, HUGE shoutout should go to Joe H. working the ski-floor area. That dude was ridiculously on-point with ski / boot sizing and deserves some serious recognition. I even asked to speak to the manager while I was there 3 weeks ago to which he replied - youre better off just writing a review on Google. Well Joe, here you go man. The birthday girl LOVED the skis. I bought my skis & boots from Sun & Ski last week. Nolan was so helpful and friendly. Thanks to him I was able to find my dream ski gear. I also purchased helmet, mittens, and goggles from them last week. Overall, I am very happy with their service.

I needed new ski boots and they measured my feet and got me into the perfect boots! The people who work there are super knowledgeable, nice, and patient. No one was trying to push any buys on us- they just set us up with great boots and taught us so much about how boots are supposed to fit, etc. Highly recommend!!

My family and I have spent a lot of money here and the poor service is unbelievable. The workers here disappear on you and never come back had to wait another hour to be helped. They sold me skis and gave me two left feet ones the people here don’t know what they are doing nor talking about. The company have to really take a look at the manager that’s running the store never got his name but was very disrespectful to me and my sister. This place sells terrible quality equipment for a high price. NEVER COME HERE.

Completely terrible service, The manager there was very rude to me. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store and they sold me a bad snowboard. Dawn gave me her word to replace my board and took it back once I got there. First time ever using the board and it cracks. Dont go here very disrespectful people. Especially the worker Ryan very rude and nasty. Also poor quality equipment that they are selling. Its full on snow season first time using a board shouldnt have cracked.

Came in for a new board and boots. JOE was the absolute best. He was patient, cared about my concerns, and got me EXACTLY what I needed. Joe was super informative, very friendly, and was a cool guy! I read every bad review before I go to a store - so trust me, don’t listen to the bogus reviews by the angry customers who just wanted to be malicious, there’s a great selection, even during peak times, and even better staff! The reason I don’t order online is because the staff at this store not only gets you what you need, but can explain to you why you want it and the difference between products and how they’re tiered. Especially Joe!

Been here a few times for rentals, buying boots and socks. Rental people are great and very helpful. Not too expensive either

I drove 1 hour on Sunday to buy downhill skis, bindings and boots. EMIL didnt want to bring boots for me to try them on because he was not sure if I was serious about buying. When I told him that I am a customer who spent his leisure Sunday time to come to his business and if it wasnt serious enough for him, he got offended and dropped me to the next sales person. They are not the only ski shop in town. I bought what I needed at their competitors. Avoid EMIL :(

I had some issue with the garments that had been mailed to me and contacted customer service to see if anything could be remedied. They could not have been nicer and took care of all my needs. I could not be more pleased and by doing so you have a customer for life. Thank You!!!

The first salesman came up to me and knew nothing about the skis on the wall he went and got an expert who knew not much more and was insulting telling me about his years of experience when he was 20 something Ive skied more years than hes been alive. Total waste of time what you see on their website they do not have in the store.

After 8 years I finally got a new snowboard. Doug helped us out :) he was really informative and helpful with helping me pick out an awesome board, bindings and even a new pair of boots. Me and my boyfriend went to Big Snow in Jersey and I got to test out my board and it was perfect! Can’t wait for the season to start so I can bring it to Vermont 🤙🏻🤙🏻.Thanks Doug!

Poor customer service, I waited 1 hour to be helped with snowboarding boots. I was given the 2 pairs I wanted to try on. Then the staff member disappeared, I wanted to try different sizes due to the boots being too small. Waited another 30 mintues with no help from any staff member. I ended up leaving empty handed and no idea to what size would fit comfortably. Wouldnt recommend coming unless you have a full day to waste.

I would have give no stars if I could.We wanted to buy 4 set of ski and boot for my kids.I did not know that it takes almost my weeks to set up new binding for ski.This company really have to take a look at the manager that is running this store. Missing out on a sale of 4 set gear is crazy for any business. The employees in this place has really poor attitude.

Terrible customer service. Board rental closed at 6 got there at 5:30 and would not take us after a 20 minute drive and being told they close at 7 when we. called them.

We went to Sun and Ski to get snowboarding and ski equipment; goggles, helmets, gloves, and bags. Douglas was helping us. He was very knowledgeable with all the snowboards, boots, helmets, goggles etc. I wish every store that has ski equipment has a Douglas. I will go back to the store to buy things with service like that.

Just was in to have my daughters ski bindings adjusted to her new ski boots. Douglas who did the binding check and adjustment to the new boots was friendly, knowledgeable, and awesome all around. He took care of me quickly and had me all set up.. Even threw a coat of wax on her skis. I will be in with my other skis shortly to have the binding releases checked to make sure everything is working correctly thanks to Douglas recommendation. I just need his working hours. LOL.Douglas, YOU ROCK!!!!!!

Had a great visit to Sun & Ski tonight for their First Tracks sale. Patrick met us near the door and made some suggestions as far as rentals for my 15-year old daughter. Doug, in the rental area, was fantastic! He spent time speaking with my daughter about how she skis, giving full attention to her answers and set her up with skis, boots and poles. Britt, working in the clothing area, gave me some terrific advice on a jacket. Being not so tall, I scored a great deal on a boys Spyder jacket. Riki, at the counter, was polite and efficient in helping us check out, and explained the coupons and discounts that come with the rental. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Its our third year back for season rentals, they take great care of us and I wont go anywhere else.

Big store. Lots of stock. I bought a discounted clearance binding here and did as good as e-bae and other online stores. My helper was slightly annoyed with my questions. I do a ton of research before I buy any gear and it seemed like my specific questions bothered him. That didnt bother me enough to leave. He did know his stuff but he should build his ego on the satisfaction of getting my gear right rather then be annoyed that there are lots of informed consumers. He was done with me once he graced me with his infinite knowledge. I will go back. I did get a great deal. I wont be asking him anything.

Gave the kids gift certificates to Sun & Ski for Christmas. Tim in boots section helped suit up the boys with snowboard boats and recommended a good starter set. He seemed very helpful and honest.We also rented skis for our trip. Folks in the ski shop were helpful and attentive. They recommended equipment tailored to our experience levels and the whole process took about an hour.We will be back at the end of the season to suit up for next year.

I dont typically post reviews, but I was inclined to do so based on the exceptional experience we had at Sun & Ski. Christine, the store manager, went above and beyond to assist us in purchasing a good quality patio set for our backyard. She knew we wanted to invest in an affordable set versus buying something cheaper that would need to be replaced frequently. Christine literally moved mountains to work with our budget to get us the best options and quality, going back and forth with us for several days while we bombarded her with ongoing questions concerns and comparisons. She even met me at the store on her day off to go over things. Christine was incredibly patient, kind and knowledgeable. Our set is due to arrive tomorrow, and we cant wait to use it!

Great shop with a wide selection of everything you need: boots, skis, helmets, goggles, outerwear, etc. It has an in-house shop for repairs, bindings, waxings, and sharpenings. When looking for skis or boots, youre guided through the process by helpful and attentive staff. I was helped by Nolan and he was very good and assisted with picking out the best pair of boots for my needs. This isnt a negative (as its true for all ski stores), but be prepared to spend quite a lot of money if youre shopping for boots or skis.

I went here almost 10 years ago and bought a ton of snowboard gear and had an awesome experience. Today I went back for the first time since in search of some more snowboard gear (this time particularly a new snowboard). I was once again greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was pointed towards the snowboard section and told to wait and someone who could help me would be there shortly. After a minute or two a dude came down psyched as all hell to help me with whatever I needed. Unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he was the snowboard tech at the shop there. This dude was not only the man but he knew so much about snowboards (possibly skis too but I’m not sure). He even told me to come back next time to talk about our favorite food spots haha! This now being my 2nd awesome experience here I’ve made the decision to do all my snow activity shopping here. For good!!

Overall totally unpleasant and nearly unprofessional experience buying equipment. Staff is unknowledgeable and poorly trained which I believed can be traced back to management. Strange place.

Sidny made everything right for me when my board broke and needed her to send it to warranty. Originally I thought I was going to have to buy a new board after only using for a year. Sidney sent my board to k2 and kept me updated the entire time. Great manager

It was our first time renting the skis from this store and it was a terrific experience . The store manager was nice and patient. They spend good amount of time on each customer and the skis and boots are in excellent condition . We are a family of 4 and my two little kids each got a coloring book and a box of crayon. Highly recommend this place for ski rental.

Went to this place in October. Spent over $500 on season rentals and a bag and a helmet for my daughter. It’s busy and difficult to find help because there isn’t enough.Got $83 reward bucks. No one told me they expire. Never thought to ask. Who would think they would expire before the end of the year? Had someone told me they’re good for 30 days I would’ve used them.Went back last week. Had another $500+ worth of stuff in hand. 20 year old who appeared to be in charge said no way. Corporate policy etc.I dropped my stuff. They lost the whole sale. I’m never going back. Not sure how this helps their business. I wasn’t going in to get $83 of free stuff and leave. I was spending another $500. I live locally. So now they lost a customer for life with young kids who ski. Hmmmmm doesn’t seem like good business practices to me. If a manager was there who could think out of the box maybe it wouldn’t have happened but who knows? I won’t be back. I ordered the exact same stuff online for same price.

Bought ski gear here in the past and was great especially during off-season to get good deals. However on todays visit, I left empty-handed. Apparently, they dont sell winter boots or shoes anymore. Staff reacted like it was strange I would even ask for such a thing. While looking for new ski jackets for me and my girlfriend as I was the only one in the store, had no help, and as I left staff was lounging around having nice conversations with themselves. I think I will spend my few thousand dollars of ski gear somewhere else this year

Went in there to purchase new ski boots. Arrived at 8:15 when they close at 9:00. The staff told me they couldnt help me as it would take too long and they close at 9:00. After leaving I called the manager to ask about this and she agreed that they wouldnt assist since it was too late. With the brusque way I was treated, I was seemingly an interruption of their day.I guess business is good as they have no problem turning away customers ready to spend money.

Get my 3 kids season ski rentals each year here. Great shop but do yourself a favor come weekday to fit the kids or yourself crowded on weekends and can wait long line to be fitted and you feel rushed. I cant ding them for that as they are good and demand is high.

I bought 3 sets of snowboard equipment for my children and 1 set of ski equipment for myself at this location recently. Along with other merchandise, I spent close to $5000. My daughters boot needs to be order. When I came back on February 12 to pick up my daughters boot. The younger female cashier left the boot in the shoe box on the counter without providing me a plastic bag to carry. When I ask for a bag, she told me the box and the boot were TOO HEAVY for the plastic bag and turned her back then walk away from me. I carried others merchandises and balance the box to my car and then I remembered that there were bags for my other childrens boots when I purchased them a few days ago. Therefore, I returned to the same cashier and requested a bag for the boot. The cashier then said Oh, you need a BIGGER bag and then she gave me a bag which can fit two boots in it. The cashiers attitude was not appropriated, she made me feel like I was begging for a bag. Packaging the merchandise is the basic customer service that a cashier need to do for a customer. I will not recommend this store unless to bring your own bags for your purchase. The BOOT IS TOO HEAVY FOR THE BAG which was ridiculous.

My wife and i went Saturday to get new skies and boots. We were greeted by Fred after just a few seconds . Fred was the best, he talked with us to get a feel for us and what we were looking for in both skies and boots (were almost 60 ) . Fred then took all the time we needed to get the right fitting boots, and the best fitting boots we have both ever had . Fred then gave us both a few differant skies to choose from based on our input . We were never rushed and Fred went over and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase . Thank you Fred again for making it the best expierience we have had buying ski and boots !!!!

Prices are on par with websites. They have a decently large selection. Bought 2 pairs of boots there.

Went to S&S on a quiet weekday in hopes of having someones undivided attention to avoid the foot pain that plagued me for years when I would wear ski boots. Unfortunately I was fitted/ sold a boot that was too big. Hundreds wasted. This mistake sent me into Mt Snow Boot Works... they put me back on track and now my ankle pain and frostbitten feet are a thing of the past. Remember, You date your skis but you marry your boots.... dont skimp on the most important part of your trip.

I called to get rental skis for my sons first lesson. Was told that they have plenty of rentals and that we should bring him over to get fitted. Drove an hour to get there and was told “they wouldn’t have enough time to tune them”Things that they could have told me before I drove over there.But they did try to sell me new skis which they had plenty of time to tune.Terrible.
