My experience was the very thing you’d want. The employees are extremely helpful and polite. The man up front; John was very helpful when it came time to explain things to me. He made me feel comfortable leaving my vehicle in their hands. My Jeep was in and out in no time and everything was done perfectly. I will definitely be returning to the Plant City Ammco for all future maintenance!

Terrible communication, I understand a shop being busy but I dont understand why they wouldnt just say they wont get to my car until next week, I could work with that. I dropped my truck off Tuesday morning, picked it up Friday morning after it was sitting in the back for days and not even looked at, had I not picked it up today Im confident it would have just sat there all weekend.

Way overpriced please shop around takes weeks to get your vehicle back wanted $4,000 to do a job that I got done for $2,900 with warranty big prices for their big building

I dealt with Oscar who is a wonderful man and bent over backwards to make sure my car was in top shape. He worked with me and cared. Within two days my transmission was in and ready to go. I went to two other places. One wanted to charge me to look at it and the other wanted me to find my own transmission! But at aamaco he cared and the boys at the shop did too! They can and will have my business any day!

This AAMCO was our second opinion place. It is evident the owner, Rob, knows his business. He identified the problem with our BMW and told us so much more than the first place we took our car. The staff is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and they explain the work in understandable terms. The work was quality and the price was reasonable. Rob made sure our car was tip top before we picked it up. They are very proud and take their business seriously. Customer service along with quality work is top priority here. This location is over 1 hour from where we live but they were recommended to us. They will do all of our repairs in the future.

Been going to them for years. Great guys, honest, great work. They will always make things right. They dont hassle you for small stuff like most repair shops. They take the time to get the right diagnosis and tell you exactly what you need. I wouldnt go anywhere else for my major repairs.

I took my vehicle for check engine light. I was told the cause was oxygen sensor and charged $211. I picked up my truck on a Monday and the check engine light came on again 2 days later. I called and was told to return truck to them. I was later called and told that the light was on because the catalyst converter needed replacing for $400. If my vehicle was diagnosed accurately the first time, why was the catalyst converter not identified as the problem??? This is the 3rd time I have taken my truck for check engine light. The first time the catalyst converter was replaced! And my check engine light is still on. Why rip off a customer? So unfair!!

I went in knowing I had an oil leak but 1000.00 for two oil leaks is crazy high I came in for second opinion and it was double the price. I also made my appointment early they had my car all day with no calls made on the status of my vehicle I had to call worst service ever. (12-14-18) Update the owner ask me to email him no response goes to show why this place has bad reviews if the owner doesnt care.

After only having the dealership change my oil for the last year, I went to change the oil myself and couldnt get the oil pan bolt off. It wouldnt even come off with my impact gun. THANKS LAKELAND DODGE, So I brought my car here and they immediately got my car in the bay and broke the bolt free and got me on my way to change my oil.. GREAT SERVICE, SUPER FRIENDLY, A++++

My truck was towed there on Wednesday... looked at and evaluated on Friday and told it was the transfer case motor which I already knew was the problem and that installation would be on Saturday morning...total cost out the door 496.00. So I drop by the shop around 9 am to see the progress they were making and Oscar tells me it would be ready in about an hour. I leave...5 minutes later Oscar calls me and says could I come back there is something he needs to show me. He showed me small pin hole on the back of the transfer case. I looked up on u tube and saw this happens on GM trucks, what I didnt understand was why this wasnt noticed right off since there were signs of leakage. I have had many experiences with shops and mechanics...some good, some not so good.. so now the bill is around 900 -1000 and installation will be on Monday...will post final outcome when my truck is picked up . LDQI picked up my truck and have been driving for about a month..no problems... transfer case shifting and working fine. I would recommend this facility to my friends and family.

This AAMCOs owner personally offered to drive my car to identify the issue. He knew exactly what it would take to fix my vehicle and didnt try to talk me into extras. I think that shows he really cares about getting me down the road safely. I would recommend Rob and the entire AAMCO staff for your vehicles next service or repair.

I have an older Truck which I rely on and have had several people work on it with not so great results and horrible customer service. The AAMCO shop in Plant City not only tries to save me money and work with me they always go the extra mile to make sure not just to fix what I specifically ask for they make sure that my job is done right and that my is safe and reliable for me!!!! I dont trust very well but I give these people my total confidence. You wont find better! THANK YOU ALL!

I dealt with Rob to get a transmission swap in my car for $1300. It ran great for a week and then started slipping. I was out of town and came back a week before the warranty ran out. I left it with them and they told me the transmission was fine and the fluids were low anfew days later, my transmission completely went out and my car is undrivable.I called Rob and he told me that he cant find the record of where he bought the transmission, as they dont use computers to store that information (really?!?! Its 2018)Still have not heard back from him. Would not recommend this place to anyone. This is a terrible place to get work done on your car. Its probably fine for an oil change, but for any major work you need done to your car, go somewhere else.

Thid place is a rip-off. I took my car in and told them I had a certain amount of money to spend...$300. They said they would let me know if its more than that. They fixed my car.....over $1000. I couldnt pay it. They kept my car. I couldnt pay so I had to give it to them. They should have told me the total price. NEVER AGAIN!!#

I got my 2014 ram cummins rebuilt here. They gave me a hard time about warranty after they sold me on a lifetime warranty, they said because its a diesel its commercial use so they cant warranty longer than 18month 18k miles. I took the truck back after 10 days told them it wasnt shifting right. They looked it over said everything was fine. I left with the truck, the next weekend I took my 23ft travel trailer camping that only weighs 5k pds and the truck struggled to pull it doing 65mph obviously the trans isnt done right at all. Im getting rid of the truck because I dont have time to let them rebuild it againin less than a month time. Find a reputable shop to rebuild your transmission not aamco!

Rob has always worked with me on a fair price, and set realistic expectations on time. This shop does good work on all aspects of a vehicle, not just transmissions...

This place is a complete and total rip off. I went to get my car engine replaced with one I provided and they sent me back saying the one I had was no good. I then entrusted the owner with $950 which he used to get a new engine from someone he trusted and worked with well $2300 later and about 2 weeks of back and forth I get my vehicle back only to be told my bill and that I still had a head gasket leak (that would cost $600+ to fix) after I payed extra for new gasket and seals and whatever else I was told that I needed. So here I am about $3200 later with a non running car once again due to an oil leak that was already existing in the engine in which I entrusted them to purchase. All in all they took advantage of the fact that I did not know much about cars, fed me BS and got me to spend more then I probably should have. I would not recommend this place at a all especially if you dont know much about cars. You will get ripped off.
