This was the most efficient, competent and pleasant experience at a car repair establishment in many years! First, there was ample parking. Second, the reception area was immaculate and chairs spaced far enough apart that I felt very comfortable waiting. Most importantly, Tom immediately acknowledged me and determined that my car probably would be done within an hour.I was in and out of the shop with my car ready to go in less than 45 minutes.Now, obviously, this time was a minor problem, but Mavis will be my go to car repair shop whenever they can do the work.

ROY. He was absolutely amazing helping me with my car. I went to a different place for a flat and when they apparently “fixed it”, it just created more issues. My car had the feeling like it was shaking after going to a certain speed. Took it back to the previous place and all they did was realign it and say nothing was wrong. Went to Mavis and they took one look and told me I needed to replace two tires because they were separating… why couldn’t the previous place tell me this? Roy also figured out that the place that previously “fixed” my tire sensor just ripped me off and wrapped wiring around it. Mavis took pictures of the whole situation and everything for evidence so now I have the ability to get my money back from the previous place. No other place would’ve been willing to do that to help me with an issue that they didn’t even do. Roy and the people at Mavis were truly wonderful and straight forward. I love how honest they were about everything. AND THEY LEGIT FIXED MY ISSUES WITH ONE VISIT. Thanks Roy and the guys who worked on the car for me! Will be coming back here and only here from now on!!! :)

Never been to a Mavis before. Impressed by the fact that they will guarantee their brake pads from wear. Mind blowing to me Ive never heard anyone do that. Definitely will come back. Tom who took care of me did a great job of informing of other issues my car had and didnt pressure me into getting them done. Nice guy!

Our daughter is in Florida for college, she was having a tire issue, I called and spoke to Tom, he said send her over she went over he was so nice to her and fixed her car up for her and had her on the way and she wasn’t even late to class, he really made her feel comfy in an unfamiliar place, I would definitely recommend them.

Garnet and Roy run a 1st class outfit. Mavis was my goto tire and exhaust place in NY and now is the same here in Plantation FL. I have had flats fixed, replaced single tires and purchased whole sets. National Mavis did price match and delivered to plantation shop with now problems. One word why you should choose Mavis: Roy.My initial experience with a Mavis customer service rep was underwhelming - to say the least! But Roy was determined to turn things around. He was completely understaffed - answering two phone lines - with only one mechanic on the floor - and he was getting ready to do my oil change himself in order to make sure I could get to work on time! He really goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. He is professional, patient and kind. He is a man of his word and is honest and upfront in providing feedback. It is obvious that he takes a lot of pride in his job and he is excellent at it! Roy went out of his way to earn my business and is the only reason why I would refer this location to family & friends. Make sure he is there for your appointment and you will not be disappointed. This place is amazing. They have the best prices by far, amazing service to go with it. I came July 3rd to get much needed tires, even though their were a lot of people, I was still in and out without issue with my new tires. All the Staff were extremely professional and informative. They put one different size tire on my car.. did rectify it, but it can be a good idea if theres a Quality controller before handing over the keys back yo the owner, make sure the order and service matches.

I needed a flat repair on my van and the guys at Mavis Tire in Plantation really know their stuff! As a kid I worked at my grandfathers tire shop in Cleveland, and was taught the proper way to fix a tire. You never use a plug for a permanent repair. The only proper way to repair a punctured tire is with a patch from the inside. Not only did the tire tech At Mavis repair the puncture from a nail, he also found a plug from an old repair that must have been done by the previous owner of my van. I was impressed that they took the extra time to make sure I left their shop with the assurance of safety!

I initially found Mavis Discount Tires in Plantation when I needed to replace a tire on my sport SUV. No one had the tire I needed and could not get it for 10-12 days. Mavis Tire Plantation was able to get it in 1 day. They replaced the tire with the same sport tire as the other 3 at a fraction of the cost & time that the dealership proposed. So when I got a nail in my tire Mavis Tire Plantation was my first choice. They patched the tire. Jim, Roy and the mechanics are knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly their work is top notch. This place lacks customer service. Went to get a tire repaired/replaced (a tire I had bought from them last year) and I was rudely told that they couldnt take my car in because there were 8 cars ahead of me that day and that they were already busy for the day and that they wouldnt take it either the next day since they were short on staff. There were other people in the store that came in after me with greater car issues and they were serviced. I felt like I was rudely denied service just because the manager wasnt going to win any money 🤑 with the car service I needed. What a shame!

We were in Florida on a road trip vacation, within a couple of days of leaving for home. We ended up with a nail in a tire, and had to make some necessary repairs quickly. While in the shop, the guys identified a pending issue (legitimate) with our brakes (that a competitors shop missed). They were able to make the additional repairs coincidentally, with little additional time needed. Two tires, two rotors, two sets of pads done in a little over 2 hours. Guys were professional and courteous, even genial. Shop was clean and bright. And, given the times, masks and safety protocols were evident and not an afterthought. If we lived here, Id make this my go-to shop. Thanks, guys. Well done.

These guys are super nice and fast. The only problem is is when you order tires on Amazon its a convoluted crazy mess. And then they actually explain how the tires actually came from eBay which is interesting. Next time Ill probably just buy tires straight from them its way easier.

I found MAVIS Discount Tire online searching for Tires for my Truck. I was in desperate need of two new tires due to having a bulge in one of them. Mavis online price was just below other sites cost, even Amazon. Since the plantation shop was by my House and Work, I decided that I would call to see if they had the tire in Stock. Like most other places, my tires are not the normal size and are not kept at the Tire Store. Mavis In Plantation did not have my Tire in Stock but promised to have by the next Day. I agreed to have them order the tires as long as the promise would be kept. After I gave my information, and hung up the phone within minutes, I had confirmation on the tires being order via email. The Next day I heard from Tom Martin that the Tires were in and asked what time I can be there. This is attention to service you do not get from Most places. Once I Arrived, I received the same service in person as I did over the phone. Tom Martin Was Polite, Courteous, and Knowledgeable .With two Oversized truck tires, I was in and out under an Hour.Thank you Mavis Discount Tire in Plantation for making this a good experience.

Polite staff. I needed air in all my tires,stopped in for service the gentleman pointed out that they have a machine for free air right in front of the office.worked like a charm.Only complaint is they do not put plugs in tires.

I had an amazing experience with Mavis tire. I called in advance and got a good deal on my tires for a chevy suburban.They are very helpful and easy to work with. Once you make the appointment, they give you an estimate on how long would it take and either you wait at their lobby or come back later if you leave close by. Overall was a very good service and will definitely recommend it.
