Always friendly and willing to help. They have worked on my vehicle many times while I am in town for school. With student discounts and honest service, this is the only mechanic I go to in town!

I had some car trouble as I was just passing through on a Friday afternoon. No one else in the area could help me, but Anderson Auto Repair said they would squeeze me in. Keep in mind, its 3:45 on a Friday afternoon. Within 90 minutes they had all of my spark plugs, boots, and gasket replaced on my 6 cylinder engine and I was on my way. Everyone was so nice and the price was very fair.Thank you guys for helping me get back on the road!!!

I went in to have brake pads replaced (that they fit me in for while I was running errands in Platteville) and they had to give me some horrible news that they found with the frame of my car. I wasnt surprised, but I could feel the empathy they had for me. Very kind and gracious. I wont hesitate a minute to bring my vehicle back to them. Thank you!

If you think all auto repair garages are crooks, then you havent been to Andersen Auto. Dan & Kate check all the boxes. Been using them for two years on my 15 year old pickup with 200000 miles. They carefully explain the problem, the solution, and the cost. Cost always seems to be less than the quote. I guess they only charge for what they do. Plan on taking my car there as well as soon as the manufacturer warranty is up. Matthew R

Anderson Auto Repair is a rare find in a world of dishonest and sloppy auto shops! They fit me in quickly and performed the necessary maintenance on my vehicle at a reasonable price. They also fixed something that another repair shop had messed up and took the time to explain what needed to be done without pushing unnecessary repairs.

Im not the most knowledgeable when it comes to cars but Dan has always done a good job at pointing out when certain things need maintenance and when. Highly recommend this business!

I would recommend using Andersen Auto. I called in with a concern recently. They were able to schedule me for an inspection that day. They listened to my concerns, gave honest feedback, and made the repairs at a fair price all in that day.

These guys provide great, friendly, small town kind of service. Their hourly labor rate is extremely competitive and they’re extremely flexible with your needs as well.They’re the only shop my wife and I have used since we moved to Platteville, I wouldn’t see a good reason to go anywhere else.

My car broke down on the way to work. Had triple A tow my car to Andersen. It was all fixed by the end of the day with exceptional customer service. They offer a $5 student discount which makes them stand out from other repair shops. I will be going here regularly.

Great people, great service

I have brought my car here 3 times so far! The first time was very last minute with a broken brake line. They got me in that day and it was fixed in about an hour! Very friendly! Explains everything that happened and what they did and why. They are never pushy as to what needs to be fixed but just fixed what I asked them too. Would highly highly recommend! I will be going back for any future car troubles!!

My son goes to UW Platteville and has a VW Jetta that needed service. Andersen Auto took care of him in a very professional manner. They also kept me in the info loop on what the car needed. They told us what the car needed now and what we can hold off on. Totally honest shop and will not take advantage or try to push you into unneeded repairs. Thank you!!

Had the brake lines done on my 2000 Silverado and they did an awesome job. Took less than two days and for a reasonable price too.
