Ive had some varying experiences - but only due to what I (assume) are college trainees. I cant really blame the store for their lack of knowledge while being trained, I just wished someone else was always a little closer by at all times if someone has a question.Otherwise, this is one of the BEST Ace Hardware stores Ive ever shopped at - and Ive lived in 5 states. They treat you like family, even when youre a stranger off the street. They always want to make sure you have all you need (or leave what you dont need!) Many times Ive gone in on an errand to help someone else and having little knowledge of what I was looking for. They always knew and always got it right.Thank you!!!

Don’t go there bad people work there fist time when we go there to rent concrete machine they have it but no blade no on it and we left to the other store to get new blade when we come back that said machine doesn’t work good they don’t want to give us.I do not recommend Heiser Ace Hardware in Platteville

Heiser Hardware is my first and only stop when doing a project. They have everything. Amazing, knowledgeable staff eager to help. They offer services that other places do not, like screen repair. They are huge supporters of the community, which you dont give from the big box stores. I love this store. Ive found things I didnt know I needed, but couldnt live without. If you working on a project, need a tool, or just live visiting a hardware store that has everything, this is the place for you. I highly, highly recommend Heisers

Heisers is clearly one of the best full service businesses in Platteville. Needed a saw head for my Extended tree trimmer, Kyle had it installed in minutes and had me out the door to assist our PCA work team.
