Its too bad they are closing in November, this store has brought a lot of business to the surrounding mall for years. Always the place I go when in need of a new laptop for school or other good quality tech items. I believe in the saying, you get what you pay for, and Walmart simply will not suffice when Best Buy closes. I was planning on buying the Bose sunglasses with the built-in speakers for my husband this Christmas, and I guess Ill have to order them online instead.

Curbside pickup took so long that I went inside where there was no line and one worker was straightening the rope line. They didnt seem concerned that people were outside waiting. I do like shopping there because its easy to return things and the prices are competitive. They price match some competitors and have good sales on games, external hard drives and other items.

This is a little long winded but.... I went in to buy a sound bar around $100-250. After a decent talk with an employee I went all in and bought a $600 bar on sale for $300. It was not in stock and I hate dealing with deliverys (all online purchases included!) But I was informed Id have it next day at no charge. Well due to an error on best buys part the ship date was changed to 2 weeks out!! After 2.5hrs on the phone with horrible customer service (the worst Ive ever dealt with) I ended up at the store location when they opened. This is where it gets good, the apologized and after 10 minutes I left with a refund of everything over store price ($130!!!!) And still would receive the sound bar... guess what it came today! Meaning I got a $600 sound bar for $170 and a two day wait! Thank you best buy for correcting a mistake the best way you can. I never knock a business for a mistake, they happen to all of us, but handling the situation is very crucial.

I exchanged my HP computer for this MAC. I was told over the phone it would be $901.00, when I went to the store to exchange the computer and pick up this one the price on the box also said $901.00. When the cashier rung me up he said there was a problem with their system and they would have to charge me $1,000. When I asked to speak to the manager he said there was nothing that could be done.I am upset that I was told one price and that price was not honored. I feel taken advantage of and not listened to or heard by the employee at Best Buy or the Manager. Neither tried to resolve the situation or make me feel compensated in anyway. I called a few days later and asked to talk to a Manager and again was not listened to.

At Christmas I bought a mixer and children’s watch from the store and paid cash. After the holidays I was hospitalized and these items ended up not being used at the holiday and ended up needing to be returned... Upon trying to return these items today on February 6 I was informed it was against their return policy and they could only give me in store credit even though I had a receipt and paid cash...The gentleman there basically said it was my problem and to have a nice day... so now I have 2 brand new items that are not useful to me!!!... never again will I step foot in this store!!!

PitifulWent in to buy a camera, not to look, only to buy.Most decent cameras, and almost all Canons out of stock, no offers to help order or find.But since I was there to buy, looked at one I didnt really want, but ok. Tried to look through eyepiece, no power. Answer: they didnt hook it up. No explanation, no offer of alternative,nothing...Went to customer service, nice kid, nothing. Went to the manager, another wall of nothingness, literally zero effort to help.Called corporate, nice kid, tried to explain, couldnt find the word, so I helped him with consolidation, and he said yes, some stores closing??Said he has similar issues, suggested online form.A couple of nice people, but worst customer service Ive had in Pburgh in any industry.What a difference from great service places likeWarren Tire, Alekas, and Yipes.

I was extremely disappointed when I paid for an IMac to be delivered through Best Buy open box [online option] and it turned out to be with a broken screen. I was in somewhat apprehension, however, the associate who helped me out with my return and Todd who helped me pick my new computer, both went above and beyond. I will say this, Best Buy in Plattsburgh, is my new electronics shop from now on!

Purchased GE A/C unit. Went bad after 3 months. While purchasing a new TV for our Parents, we mentioned what happened. The salesperson asked us which card we used, located the sale, and we received a refund, as A/C units are no longer in stock, at this late point in the season. Great customer service, great pricing and pleasant store environment.This is, and has always been our experience, when shopping here.

I bought a pc from their website. Looked good and everything. Once I got it I tried setting it up and it wasnt working. I tried returning it but it was around the time everything got locked down so they werent taking refunds. Once they reopened, I tried asking for them to take it back and refund it but they werent taking it back. Over $800 down the drain.

Just bad store clerks were fine I guess all the employees acted miserable and couldnt answer simple questions, dropped of my brand new pc purchased from them the day before because of power issues they had it for 30 minutes and said it was fine took it home loaded a browser and started shutting off again turns out its a bad psu. If your gonna have so called tech support make sure they know what there doing I just spent $1000 on a pc I ended up fixing myself your employees are horrible and your service is even worse I will not go back.

If your looking for overpriced cables, hostile service tempered by a friendly door greeter, then welcome to Best buy at the worst price.. Most of the employees here really dont care to be there aside from a few standouts. Hard to blame them though. You can pick enough information from them to make an informed decision if youve got a lot of time and are willing to pay too much for your item.Rewards program is a joke, returns are a nightmare, and dont get me started on those extended warrantys. If you can avoid this store do so otherwise best of luck.

The pick up in store always goes smooth for me. There are a couple less friendly staff, and some really helpful people in there. Keeping things in stock is currently a struggle but that is not on them right now... everyone is, there is a pandemic. Also curb side is smooth and easy and they have designated parking spots now.

Poor! Bought a laptop that had problems from day one. Then the screen totally glitched and when my wife went to return it, she was told that they couldnt do nothing cause it shows physical damage to the screen. Basically accusing her of breaking the screen. The plattsburgh ny store is a joke. Have a 20 year old kid tell you that you broke the screen like youre a 12 year old kid. I will never set foot in a best buy again. Cant fix a 200 dollar lap top that they sold and accuse you of breaking it

Staff was VERY rude. We dealt with 4 different employees all being just awful. Made fun of my boyfriend because he didnt care for his iPhone and wanted to exchange it. The manager on duty just had to let him know that he cant be very smart because his 83 year old grandmother could work one. The likely hood of us ever returning to this store is slim to none. Dont waste your time or money here.

Well organized, plenty of help available. Good signage throughout store to keep people from being too close. Good inventory and very clean. Easy trip in and out.Update: lost three stars due to recent issues. Knew that with COVID appliances are delayed, knew this would be an issue and ordered a new washer and dryer 2 weeks prior to when we would need it and we were told it would be here without an issue. Paid to set up and deliver on November 3rd 2 days after moving in, which was perfect. Stayed home on the 3rd to be here for delivery, no phone call or notification, mid afternoon called the store to check and was on hold for over 20 minutes with no response, checked BB account and see that delivery needs to be scheduled, and the first date available is the 12th. Go into the store to find out that the washer and dryer were never delivered to store, no one can tell me where it is or when it will be here and they can only deliver on the 12th. If the staff at the specific store wasnt friendly (no matter how little they can do) this would be 1 star. The least we would have expected was an email or phone call to update us on this rather than having to sit here and wait with no idea what is going on. Now stuck without washer and dryer for the first 2 weeks in our new house.

So upset at how I was treated at Best Buy today by cashier, other staff, and manager. I was purchasing a Google Hub. The stand up sign and paperwork near the Hub said “buy the Hub and get 2 Google home minis free”. I brought everything to cash out and the cashier said I was incorrect. She called another staff member for a price check. The other staff member said I should show her where the sign was. It had been moved but the other paperwork was still there. On the right hand side of the paperwork, it said the deal has ended the day before. The manager came over and said maybe he could help. He left briefly and returned and said the deal was over and I should have read the sign better. Another staff member then said maybe I wished I was a time machine and could transport myself back to when the deal was. The manager continued to tell me rudely that there was no deal. I understand I had it wrong but honestly I didn’t understand why he and the staff were so nasty. As I left he was smoking a cigarette outside of the store😕
