I like over in Burlington on the vt side and we have a couple auto zones, I like the South Burlington shop and don’t care for the Essex one because they are kinda rude. When I went to shop in Plattsburgh they had the best costumer service. I don’t even remember the guys name but he was really nice. He told me about there rewards program that I never knew out, or informed about. And I’ve shopped at these stores 100s of times. Good work and look forward to coming by on my next trip over !

Never get the right parts, have to waste gas going back and forth a thousand times just to get another wrong part...got basic counter help telling my husband hes wrong, when he was absolutely right, they hire anyone and that leads to clueless workers who have never even picked up wrench I bet,they know nothing about fixing cars. This place needs to get better knowledgeable help. Star is about the only one who knows anything in that place, if u have to go there, ask for star🌟🌠⭐

I went to the Plattsburgh AutoZone on New Year’s Eve after discovering a burned out taillight bulb right before a long road trip back home. The employee who assisted me was absolutely wonderful! He quickly retrieved the correct bulb and I asked if he could change it out for me, as I had no tools with me. He was able to change it out in 5 minutes or less. I offered him $20 for his amazing customer service and he politely declined. I wish I knew this employee’s name so he could be recognized for going above and beyond. Outstanding experience at this store and I’ll return for any auto parts needs in the future!

Terrible customer service.

Ordered parts online went in next day to pick them up was told it would be there. Went into the store and they did not have one of the rotors. They ordered one and said it would be in the next day. Went back the next day and they still didn’t have it. Was told that it was ordered from a store that won’t ship to them. They wanted to re order the rotor and have me come back in the next day. I live 25 miles away from the Plattsburgh store and they wanted me to come back a third time. I asked that the order be cancelled and Matt was helping me. He never said anything to me, but took 4 phone calls and brought someone else’s parts out to them. I was left standing in front of him for about 15 minutes as he was doing all of this. He went into the back room and never came back. Can’t say he was rude but he was extremely arrogant and I will NEVER do any business there again. He needs to develop some people skills and learn how to treat others

Went in to purchase anti freeze for my car, simply asked a question if I could mix brands, the gentleman checking me answered of course but then felt the need to look back at his other coworker and laugh. Well informed staff, however they often could use an extra person or two to assist customers as it can get backed up quite a bit. But once you are being helped they are great. Great service

The staff is very knowledgeable and courteous as well. Went today for a new battery and the fella checked to see if I actually needed one 1st. He hooked up a mechanism and it told us it wasnt the battery but the starter. Unfortunately couldnt start vehicle after we shut it off, had to have it towed to a garage, but the guys who worked with us on my jeep were personable, friendly, and knew what they were doing.

Rosa is the best. I would have that woman help me all the time.. she knows all the parts and what is in stock. She may not know how to work on cars,. But I would let her have a whirl at helping me out. She is a great spirit and an asset to Auto zone.

My wife went there because her wipers broke in a rain storm I couldn’t get there due to work an a worker decided to tell her that he will help. Her when the rain stops obviously she needed help wow lack of costumer service would of gave zero stars but it wouldn’t let me

Staff is usually very helpful with whatever you need, car tests, car parts and theyve even helped me change wipers/some other minor things. Sun, snow, rain or whatever they still help with a smile. They have some knowledgeable people whom work there and they have employees just starting so choose wisely with whom you speak to.

They dont seem to have enough Clerks to keep people moving. There is a long wait time here to be waited on. And you can see people in the back just standing around. My time is valuable also oh, and the reason they have a job is because people like I shop there. It really bothers me to have to wait in line 15 to 20 minutes and theres people who are able to wait on me. Poor service.

I went in for wiper blades. Mine were awful. Chris H was so very helpful and kind. He even graciously offered to put them on my car! Thank you so much. Plattsburgh AutoZone, I am very impressed.

Waited in line while the man behind the counter answered phone call after call. All while ignoring the customers in the store. Worst service I have ever experienced. I will never be back. There is a much better auto parts store a block away with infinitely better service and comparable prices.

I was helping a guy from Quebec in the parking lot near Lowes with his Mercedes C250 broken belt and seized belt retainer disc, I took the guy in my car to autozone in Plattsburgh to buy the pieces and some tools to do the repair, I have never seen this kind of services and kindness in trying to help us fixing the problem, Thank you for a great services I think the name was Tod ( I am sorry if I forgot your name ), but you spent the time to help us to fix our problem replacing the belt and the belt retainer, he went out of his way spending the time and adding washers and other rings to make that piece work other wise the guy would have been stuck till Monday for the dealer to open and get the right parts, the piece worked and we installed the belt and the guy with his wife got home in Quebec safely. Bought Marine battery July 15 2018, September 19 2019 battery is junk dead cells, battery was used a total of 8 months, 3 months in 2018 and 5 months 2019 kept inside in the winter, and fully charged when stored. Auto Zone employee stated Thats to bad, my reply was For you not for me, ill spend my money at Advanced Auto. Did alot of business at Auto Zone, Im taking it somewhere else.

The staff there is very courteous, knowledgeable and supportive. Whenever I have ordered anything it has arrived quickly and they honor their warranties.

I experienced car trouble while passing through Plattsburgh on my way to Montreal. Even though my purchase here was minimal the employees here were very helpful and offered me their assistance and also directions to get to where I needed to go. Highly recommend this store.

Tried 10 times to call rang all the way til phone cut out every time. Then went to fax after those 10 attempts. Must be the new game the employees have there. Not the first time Ive called and got no answer. But its the last time ill call for anything. its 730pm am sure theyre not that busy. Called advance auto 2nd ring got an answer and they got a sale.

Went to get battery for my moms car. Told them I did not want a battery for summer wanted. Year round battery also got an instow kit 10.00 more includes brush to clean terminals solution to clean terminals and spray grease to prolong corrosion. Battery 179.00 good for at least 3 years maint free. You choose.

They need to staff more people to just run the registers. I cant tell you the amount of times Ive waited 5-10 mins just standing in line waiting to pay for something while theyre busy helping some customer whos asking wayyyy too many questions in a row. I know its not the employees fault, they have to help. But they need to hire someone whos sole job it is to just ring people up. This person doesnt answer questions, or leave the store to go install wiper blades on some old ladies car. All they do is sit there and run a register. Probably seems like a waste of money to AutoZone who only want to employ car experts, but this would probably be a 5 star review if they did just that one little thing.

I went to Plattsburgh’s auto zone tonight with my pregnant daughter-in-law to get brake fluid for her father The short overweight clerk asked if he could help so I gave him the car, make, model and year and he looked it up. He then asked how much we needed and I had no idea..he acted disgusted and instead of asking the appropriate questions (as I was told by my husband) was it for a new brake job or a leak, he sold me the largest bottle of brake fluid in the store. Way to advantage of someone’s lack of knowledge! I’ve never had this problem before at Auto Zone and have always been satisfied with the helpful nature of the employees. My daughter-in-law was just in a few days ago for a windshield wiper and the employee checked the wiper prior to selling her one to see if it was needed & that’s why I went there....I’m not sure if it’s just this employee who has an issue with female patrons but he’s giving Auto Zone a bad reputation

This AutoZone is a very bissy store. Sometimes you have to wait but people come here because the staff is well trained. Rosa is the best team member I have ever felt with in any of these stores.
