I simply cannot say enough nice things about this vision center. The new Doctor is so incredibly efficient and knowledgeable. The ladies out front are AMAZING! Everyone is just great. I highly recommend using this center. They even fit me in to have glass removed from my eye and it only took about 15 minutes and cost a fraction of what the emergency room would have been. Love this Doctor and the staff. Thanks so much for all of your good work.
Great experience from the eye exam to my glasses purchase. In fact I just went back to purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses as well. The associate, Samantha, was awesome. Very cordial and gave great service ....again! She is definitely an asset to the vision center. I highly recommend.
My son went to an eye apt because he was having severe headaches. The dr gave him a new prescription. Immediately he said his headaches, vision, and dizziness were worse with the new glasses. We were told to give it 2 weeks for his eyes to adjust to the new lenses. We waited to weeks and returned. My son repeatedly told the dr it was very blurry, and he couldn’t see the letters on the chart. The dr insisted the prescription was correct, and that he could see great. He continued to have difficulty seeing, and his headaches and dizziness worsened. The dr absolutely refused to consider the prescription might not be correct. I took my son to a different eye dr. The very next day, he could see well and the headaches and dizziness went away immediately as well. The dr here just absolutely refuses to listen to his patient.

I was extremely satisfied with the costumer service. Bailey from vision center went above and beyond to help me out so I could get my child in. I was having problems because of insurance but she kept looking into it and figured it out for me. Thank you so much for your help. I deal with people everyday and its nice to see someone else trying there best to help. Well done Bailey
After three days of going back and forth with our doctors office to purchase affordable frames and lenses, our doctors office fell through on what they promised us so that we could purchase what my son wanted and needed without paying an arm and a leg. I went to the Walmart Vision Center on a whim and the staff there were wonderful, understanding, and went above and beyond to make sure we could still get my 9 year old what he wanted without me shelling out a exorbitant amount of money. I came in for a third time in two days, a little upset with our other office, and the staff were very understanding, kind, and professional. Thank you to Sam and the other women (Im sorry I cant remember your names!) for being more informative than our doctors office and making sure we could get fashionable, affordable eyeglasses.
The eye exam was quick, no bs to deal with, which is the only reason I have the extra star.However the doctor was a little creepy, calling me a little girl (Im almost 30), telling me I have pretty eyes and beautiful lips. I dont see why he had to repeatedly point that out to me but it left a very bad impression.I was very uncomfortable and I wished he talked a little more like a professional and less like a creep. I dont recommend this place.
My son had an appointment today for a contact lens exam. He already wore glasses but he wanted contacts for sports because he says that he sweats a lot and its hard for him to keep his glasses on his face. We went to Visionworks to get the glasses but I couldnt get him in for the contact exam at vision Works because they dont have a doctor right now. The doctor at Walmart refused to give him a prescription for contacts/contacts because he couldnt get them in his eyes after his exam. And I said how is he supposed to learn how to put his contacts in his eyes if he doesnt have them at home to learn how to put them in. My son had told the doctor that he doesnt want to wear contacts when the doctor asked him if he wants contacts. Which who wants to put contacts in their eyes every day. If anybody asks me I would say that I dont want to wear contacts either. I wear contacts and I dont want to but I rather wear contacts then glasses. my son had told me that he wanted contacts at home thats why I made the appointment for the eye contact exam. I paid $50 for the exam and they gave me a prescription for eyeglasses. He was very rude to me and cut me off when I was trying to explain myself and he said that Im not going to listen to you. your son doesnt want to wear contacts and he doesnt have to wear contacts he is just a kid. I said that I was never coming back here again and he said that he never wants me to come back again. Ive never had such horrible service in my life. I still cant believe the way I was treated. I left crying. They couldve been nice to me and offered for my son to come back a different day to try to put the contacts in again. Not just have me pay $50 for the exam and give me a prescription for glasses.
Everyone is very friendly and helpful here. The wait time/appointment is about 35 mins total if you dont do the dilation and I can usually take home new contacts that day! Ive been going here for a few years now and I will continue.
I had a terrible experience here on Nov 7,2017. My doctor spoke to me completely inappropriately, including referencing chasing women and making unwelcome comments on my physical appearance. Repeatedly. I came here for medical advice and was completely disrespected. This was appalling and shocking treatment of a patient. I will not be returning and will urge my acquaintances not to come here. I really wish I had just walked out.
I bought glasses there and apprx. 5 months later one of the lenses popped out and into the snow.. i couldnt find it. the plattsburgh store didnt honor the warranty..
