Being newly remodeled, this is the first Lucky store that I have been to as the older format stores never really attracted me. The vibe is quite hip and theyre certainly going for an upscale experience. Certainly, this store has something for everyone and I found a wide variety of products. But heres why this will not be my regular go-to store: Prices. Alas, the prices here are quite upscale too and theres a 75-200% mark-up on almost everything compared to say WalMart prices, which we can take as a minimum. No one should expect WalMart like prices, but there is a point after which the cost get ridiculous. I have been to far more upscale stores like Wegmans on the East Coast, where I was a regular shopper, but the prices there were the same as in Target. But make no mistake, this is a great place which you should check out. The in-store restaurants look amazing too and I will be ordering something from there on my next trip.

I love this store; first time visit yesterday. Love the different kiosks set up with humans there to assist. Very nice appeal to shop and very friendly personnel. Good prices!

I was so amazed when I stopped by here last week to get steaks. Not only is it nicely renovated, they added all sorts of super cool amenities. They make their own sushi and I tentatively tried some salmon sushi, 5 pieces for $8.95, and was surprised that it was actually decent, certainly much better than you would expect at a grocery store and better than some sushi places Ive been to. They also make tortillas there which were good, not quite as good or as cheap as the tortilla shop in Cabo, but much more convenient and you dont need your passport.The meat department was the best! They had excellent New York steaks this past weekend. I didnt try it, but apparently if you buy meat there, they will cook it for you. Someone said they have a wine bar too so Ill have to plan an outing with friends to Luckys! The other impressive addition is a meat aging service. I dont know a ton about it, but the cuts are 15-20 pounds and right now are on sale for $20/pound and they age them for you for about 5-6 weeks.

Newly opened Lucky is splendid. Not your usual Lucky, nice clean, organized...and isolated made to order kitchens.It is an exceptional experience to visit this location. They have nice eating patio.Fresh...Fresh...Fresh a notch above Whole foods as they have more made to order selection...1) Fresh made Tortilla2) Mediterranean Meals3) Sandwiches as you want4) Fresh cooked Nacho chips5) Sushi ( Reasonable price but lacks authentic Rice Taste... they need to add Sushi Rice Vinegar for the taste)6) Cheese selection is so so..Whole Foods has much better selection.7) Fresh cooked Fried chicken and Potatoes8) Meat, Poultry, Seafood is plenty of choices and competitively priced.9) Produce is Fresh and plenty choices.10) Bread selection is so so...if you want French, European or Mediterranean breads....better go somewhere else.The store has a lots of International Food selection..for all walks of Life.Staff is courteous and they did the smile greetings...a nice free perk to do shopping 🛒🛍️

Wow! I was so sad when they closed last yr during the pandemic. Not only is the location very convinient, the produce always fresh. And my absolute favorite, their deli! I was so excited to come in for the first time after the renovation. What a beautiful store, nice selection, well stocked, reasonable prices, and the food court with all those to go selections. I love this place! And their bakery makes flour tortillas, nice and warm to go. The bread is delicious. Everyone is very nice, I mean I seriously have absolutely no complaints! Check it out people!

I have lived almost next to this store for 5 years hence I have a very good idea about it. I have to say the produce sold here is really substandard. I have also fallen sick eating their soup. Either these guys dont procure their food correctly or store it properly or both. Same thing for their bakery items (I know they have renovated recently ; that doesnt fix the food quality issue). I also feel they do price gouging. We were sold regular milk couple of times for almost $8 when it costs $3-4. Additionally their meats are very bad (I have been eating fish for 20+ years and I know the moment I look at it). Not to mention they are rude. The only reason I have given them 2 stars is its very convenient to me. I use this store when ABSOLUTELY necessary for time crunch otherwise happy to pay a little more at Safeway and have peace of mind.

Great selection, ample parking, easy access, decent prices. Better than Safeway. Custom prepared foods are very good, and super convenient.

Well stocked, clean, and I must give a shout out to the Deli department. A Deli rep. Was stocking the food items and I asked him about something that was not on the shelf. He told me go do your shopping and I will make for you and bring it to you. What service, thank you.

First, struck by the variety of fruit and vegetables, then all the foods to go from various courts. It will require several visits to find everything.A lovely outside dining area, self heck, plenty of disable parking and clean.It seems to be very popular more so before the renovations. Parking lot was full.Mask still required.

Very nice and offers more than regular grocery stores. Dine in option with outdoor seating and lots of food and drinks to choose from.

Amazing store! Many items made fresh in store including tortillas. Be careful though the coolness factor could cause you to overspend. Oh and beer, wine and cocktail bar in store that also serves hot food, oh and a band on the patio.

This new Luckys is like a whole foods crossed with a Safeway. Lots of hot made to order in store options. This spot is HUGE, the selection for in almost every section was fantastic. The cold beer selection is really nice as well with lots of local brews.

The store is wonderful. The people are very rude and curt. Every encounter was not friendly or positive. At the front deli, the back deli, and especially the check out staff are very rude. One clerk even berated a bagging clerk for offering to bag our groceries using our own bags. She did not know she shouldnt do that. It should have been a training opportunity, not berating her in front of us, a customer. Thus store needs a lot of work.

First of all. I like the new store. Great selection, great deli and food items. My problem came when I asked the person stocking the produce if they had the blue berries that are on special. She said no, that I needed to ask for a raincheck. No biggie. I was checking out and asked the clerk for a raincheck. Robert jumped in and said he would be right back, he was going to check. After a few minutes.he came back and said they were out and left again to find a raincheck. He came back with one for 2 pints. I asked him if I could get 4 and he was very curt with me and grabbed the raincheck and changed it to 4. He handed it to me and said here sir very sarcastically.I didnt appreciate the attitude. I was very calm.and left the store. I can now see why that attitude is all through the cashiers. The cashier said he was a manager.I live right around the corner so I will be back but wont take it again from this guy.

I have been there twice now the store is amazing however the employees need a lot of training I got 8 pieces of chicken and the guy behind the counter gave me 7 pieces and then I had to tell what needed to go into the bag really its called training people. Also the baggers area so busy talking to the cashiers about personal stuff they over stuff your bags and bruise your produce.

The service is terrible especially at the food stands. The workers need more training on quickness and efficiency. They need to get some young folks to work that branch.

I think its a bit much for a grocery store but it works. The bbq is decent. I didnt like that the drinkery had only regular coffee. No lattes. They had smoothies and wine and beer but only regular coffee.

I go there for lunch one of the quick pick up and go and I can trust the food

The store it self is beautiful having just been remodeled, the shelving, checkout stands, etc. are new. It is also very clean. This store now carries a large amount of ready to eat and on demand foods: Ramen bowls, pastas, salads, etc. They have many luxury items, aged prime rib, expensive salmons, and the like. They also have regular grocery items but a limited selection on some, like the cookie aisle. It is a fun place to go and there were lots of sales as the store opens but I dont think it will become my regular shopping place even though its closer to me than the store I regularly shop. I thought their regular prices were high and because of all the fancy items the things I need on a regular basis were lacking.

Its definitely a neighborhood store. Everybody knows everyone (employees and shoppers), and it takes them awhile to get used to new frequent shoppers - definitely not super friendly employees until they see you more frequently. Smaller than safeway with less variety, and slightly higher prices on certain items. I have better luck with eggs at Luckys than Safeway. They dont go bad as quickly. The quality of meat is also a bit better at Luckys. Better than Wal-Mart for sure.

Very clean store,easy access to all products with everything in stock. Deli department wasnt so great. Deli clerk could not help with simple questions. However, clerks from the front end and cash register made up for that. Good place to shop.

This place is well stocked, clean and never crowded. Generally in and out in no time. There is plenty of parking available and is conveniently located with reasonable prices.

Smaller Luckys store should have everything you need. Never really crowded and friendly customer service. Plenty of parking large parking lot.

We prefer coming to Luckys bc its less crowded and theres always parking, unlike Safeway on Bernal or other grocery stores in the neighborhood. Luckys doesnt have that stressed, crowded feel. If you need help, theres staff whos available to assist.

I was robbed in the store. They do not comply with surveillance camera laws. They do not protect their employees and their customers. No matter what they sell, how they train their employees, or what apologies they make, they need to protect the public, and keep everyone safe with good camera equipment Shame on Luckys. Will never set foot in that store again no matter how many times they apologize. My life and my property are worth more than their products. Thank you and think twice about my misfortune.

Lucky is an average grocery store with above average prices meaning most items have at least an extra dollar markup. If the person I care for didnt have their prescriptions filled here I probably wouldnt step foot inside more than twice a year.

Just like I remembered luckys. Very clean and well stocked. Sale price didnt ring up but they knew there must be issues since other customers started to have issues. Honored sale price.

Love this place, SO lucky to have it within walking distance of my house. Staff is always upbeat and super-friendly too!

Employees in general not the best with the exception of the meat dep. and one ck out clerk I see regularly. The rest seem to just cruise along to get thru their shifts with no intentions of helping and hope no customers ask a question, sad but true. They look straight ahead and act like theyre in a hurry to get to whatever destination so that I wont ask for help because theyre so busy. These are older employees too not youngins. Good thing I dont need any help most of the time otherwise I wouldnt shop there.

They didnt have organic produce for everything I wanted but the self-serve checkout worked and that is a first.

Pretty nice supermarket; when Ive gone, its never been busy either. I have not been impressed with the locations vegetarian options. There is a very expansive wine and liquor section, however.

Had what I needed from a social distance.

This is the closest grocery store to our house, but we go out of the way to Safeway and Whole Foods due to Luckys poor customer service, poor produce quality, lack of organic options, and higher prices. We all call this place Suckies. Trying to get help there by phone is always a huge ordeal. We only come here when as a last resort. Latest experience, we called to check if a produce item was in stock before we drove over. After 5 minutes on hold, the employee (sounded like a manager) told us, Everyone in produce is on lunch, can you call back in like an hour? Are you freaking kidding us? Off to Safeway we go...

Very disappointed. You have a sign NO ANIMALS IN THE STORE Yet you allowed a woman to bring her dog (in the cart) and your checkers were oohing and ahing over the dog. When I questioned your checker why she allowed the dog in the store she said, oh were not allowed to say anything. Thats ridiculous why do you even have the sign if youre not going to follow through.
