I went in for an annual checkup. My current hearing aids were on the blink and I thought I may have to get new ones but Jason inspected them (and me) and found that they just needed a good professional cleaning. He saved me a lot of money! Jason and the staff are really friendly. Theyre not pushy and are always ready to answer any of your questions.

Although this posting is long overdue, I wanted to share my experience. Last March 19 (2019). As I was preparing for a meeting I co-facilitated that evening, The plastic tube embedded in the hearing aid itself and attached to the ear mold had snapped off. Trying not to panic, and with short notice, I was concerned about whether the hearing aid could be repaired prior to my meeting or if they might possibly have a loaner. After calling ahead, I arrived at the office and started to explain the situation to the receptionist. However, a lady named Karen, who was sitting nearby, intervened and took my broken hearing aid to the back. (Apparently she had been apprised of the situation prior to my arrival). Within minutes, she came back out and showed me the repair, to my relief. She then asked for my other hearing aid and recommended that I preemptively replace the same piece on that hearing aid, which she did. All of this took about 20 minutes at no charge, even though I believe my aids were out of warranty. I breathed a big sigh of relief as I returned home and resumed my preparation for the evenings meeting. Due to my unintentional delay in posting this review, I can also report that both aids are still functioning just great and the followup service for cleaning and tube replacement continues to be superb!
My friend asked me to write this review for her. She has been coming to this location for some time now and is extremely happy with the service she receives. Most importantly is the kindness, compassion and professionalism of the entire staff. Being the one who always brings her in when she needs her hearing aid checked, I have to say Im thoroughly impressed with how they treat her.
Let me tell you what a very professional business is supposed to be like. All you have to do is go to 4460 Black Street Pleasanton Ca Suite #F. The place is called Connect Hearing. There you get treated like you are the only reason why they opened up the business just for you and or anyone else. They have been so helpful, calming, easygoing, PROFESSIONAL @ MOST OF ALL COMPASSIONATE not only to your needs but to their customers. Trust me when I tell you they will go out of their way no matter if they are asked and happily opened up their business during their lunch hour when they were closed JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE COMPLETELY PROFESSIONALS, RESPECTFUL AND HONEST AND ALL STAFF INCLUDING Michelle Fleming ( hearing specialist ). The ENTIRE STAFF NOT ONLY OPENED UP THEIR BUSINESS DURING THEIR LUNCH HOUR BUT MADE MY BEST FRIEND Myron who is 100 years old and soon to be 101 this month in November. He came in scared beyond belief and the ENTIRE STAFF made him feel like he was still worthy believe it or not that he felt like he was still looking forward to wearing out his newly hearing aids that he would live long enough to outlive the darn hearing aids which he does not like to use but when he put his new ones on he wanted to live another 20 years. I’m just a 60 year old who watched this 100 year old made to feel like he was again part of his community and worthy of living on. I want to thank the entire staff for making this man who felt like he wasn’t worthy anymore to blossom and say I really like all those people there and wanted to thank Michelle for treating him like he was her only patient just waiting for him that day. God Bless Connect Hearing. It made his entire life worth living because he can hear. Not only did he accidentally break one hearing aid but managed to lose and find his other hearing aid in his box of favorite cereal of Raisin Bran. The hearing aid cost nothing to repair and he can now feel comfortable that he did not have to pay for another hearing aid. He was so upset at himself that Connect Hearing took ALL HIS FEAR AWAY. THANKS AGAIN FOR TREATING MY BEST FRIEND AS A FRIEND AND NOT SOME OLD 100 year old who did not feel worthy of being a bother to anyone. What else can I say or do but Thank you again for your Professionalism and Compassion. Just wanted to add Myron who will be 101 years old this Friday November 30, 2018. He feels like he might have spent his money on his hearing aides not worth a penny on something he may not get to use for very long. However when he loses his hearing aides almost on a weekly basis he hates not having them. All he does is ask me to make an appointment because he feels like Connect Hearing and Lisa, Karen, Leilani and of course his favorite sorry ladies but Michelle is his favorite because she fine tunes his hearing aides and basically he feels that Connect Hearing is the only place where he can get his hearing aides just right so he can be a part of being social and be able to hear what the heck is going on because he likes to talk and be a part of everyday life. Although we all went to go see Bohemian Rhapsody with his wife step daughter and I . It was obvious that the women liked the movie but he and I in secret looked at each other after the movie was over and we both put our fingers down. We found the latest lost hearing aide on the mat in the bathroom right next to the commode. All that being said if it wasn’t for Connect Hearing and all the troubles he goes through at nearing 101 years old he definitely knows it was worth it . They repaired his first broken hearing aide and he was so mad at himself when they repaired it at no cost and we are both going tomorrow November 29th. It certainly makes one of our very own Veterans like he still belongs with all of us and Connect Hearing has made not only him happy but that includes the rest of his entire family. When all is said and done when the women in his life all get together and are around him he gives me the look. I will not do it but we both laugh because we both know he wants his hearing aides turned way down.
I (Paul) bought my Phonak hearing aids from Connect Hearing over 4 years ago. They have excellent customer Service and have followed up annually with free tune-ups, cleanings, and hearing tests. Last year, I even had damaged a wire connection from device to one earpiece that they fixed for a nominal charge. Recently, my hearing has deteriorated and I was again offered a free hearing test and device tune-up. Renee competently confirmed that both hearing aids were still operating well, so she updated the Firmware and reprogrammed the hearing aids based on the new hearing-test results. I am pleased to say that my hearing acuity and directional echolocation now are as good as when I first bought the devices. Their follow-up Customer Service is second to none. They also stock fresh batteries, which I buy directly from them as needed.
My third opinion in the area so I had experience with audiologists. By far the best in the area. Competent audiologist, pleasant staff, professional service beyond anything I had yet experience. And a better price than a nearby location whose service and facility didnt begin to compare. Very glad they were recommended to me.
I would recommend this place to anyone that’s having problems with hearing or need some type of hearing device or even having a hearing test done. The staff there is wonderful very helpful they know their stuff go over and beyond to help you out. They have the most up-to-date modern technology. They’ve even have same-day service to fix my dad’s hearing aid. Michelle’s amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable easy to talk to does whatever she can to help you.

This is my go-to location for my hearing aids (HAs). Started wearing a pair of functional HAs from 2013 in Chicago at an age of 24, I went to at least 5 locations in Chicago and bay/near-bay area; none of those outshines this one, considering the quality service, the competitive prices and the insurances they accept.Every staff here is professional, welcoming and helpful. In particular, Im so glad to meet Rene Morten for all my hearing needs. She shared me with valuable info on HAs of different style, helped me to connect my insurance provider and made the whole purchasing/fitting process transparent and informative. The model (Phonak M90 Titanium) I ordered was relatively new and my insurance provider didnt have the product on file, which makes the claiming uncertain. Rene showed exceptional communication skills to resolve the issue. The purchase price is also no fancy: there are many other professionals and even AuDs that try their damn best to hide the pricing details and cheat their customers, so that they can get extras.I look forward to visiting this location and seeing her again.
I have found Connect Hearing to be everything that I could want or need with regard to my hearing loss issues. The staff has always been kind, considerate, very helpful, and professional whenever I have had any contact with them.Recently, due to my lack of diligence and use over the last year or so, I had a need to have my hearing aids cleaned & serviced to make sure that they are operating properly. I was given excellent service by Nicole Skinner. Nicole was generous with her time while she reoriented me to the capabilities of my hearing aids and helped me understand the programming to adjust for different environments. Her manner was very respectful, and professional. My mothers hearing aids had broken (the tube connection in between) and several other hearing aid agencies had said they cannot repair this, although it was a Siemens set, bit old though. When I walked in to Connect Hearing just to check if they could repair this, they immediately said lets see what we can do. It took them half an hour to repair and get it back to perfect condition. And in the end, they said it was all free as they do not charge for services, this in spite of the fact that the hearing aid was not bought thru them and they had never received any prior business from me. I was amazed. Such acts of kindness are really touching in a world where most businesses are just looking to get your money. I am making a small donation to another agency for Easter in return for this kindness but all the blessings from this go to the people at Connect Hearing, Pleasanton.

I recently purchased new hearing aids from Connect Hearing. I am particularly impressed with the reception I have experienced when in facilities that are equipped with a coil. Its as though the person speaking is talking directly in my ear.I have been very pleased also with the service I have received from the staff in adjusting the new appliances with my particular needs.I know from past experience that they will follow up with me annually to encourage me to come in for any needed adjustments.

Great Service, Very Friendly and Helpful! They advise you of whats available and what your insurance will do and all your options. I got my first one without Bluetooth even though they recommended it but no hard sale which is great but then gave me enough time to decide to upgrade and I will say Bluetooth in the hearing aid was a great choice and worth the extra. I worked with Nicole who was very helpful and understanding. I would recommend this place to anyone. Also most of their hearing aids come with 3 years worth of free batteries which is a great thing.
As a visitor from New Zealand who suddenly had a vital hearing aid cease functioning I called on the Pleasanton Branch in Black Street. The reception was extremely courteous and very efficiently eliminate a fault.

I need more stars!! I am usually stingy when it comes to reviews. If I am going to put my name on it then I stand by it 100%. I recently had a very unfortunate experience. I was not advised to remove my hearing aids prior to going into an MRI, and I had pointedly asked the tech if I should. Needless to say my devices got fried. I was not happy. I took my devices back to Hearing Connect (who were the only ones sympathetic to my plight - not the imaging Center that refused to take responsibility). This was a Friday. Said theyd ship them off for assessment - would take a week. I got them back the following Wednesday, sooner than they promised. They fixed and cleaned them. The cost of all their trouble caused by an incompetent MRI technician? ZEE-ROW. Nada. And I got a smile. Any whiff of consideration for exploring other hearing services options have now been completely extinguished. I LOVE these people.

Love my Phonak hearing aids, and so grateful to have Connect Hearing as my caregivers. Im a long time customer, returning for my annual (no charge!) exam and free batteries. Audiologist Heather was prompt (I was the first client of the day), very friendly and professional. Took many safety precautions with no apparent effort, just business as usual: front door is locked, signs posted for appointments only, they open the door on entry and exit so you dont touch the handles, hand sanitizer in the waiting room, client temp is taken on arrival, no need to touch interior door handles, plexi-screen between audiologist and client makes conversation comfortable. We discussed my history since last visit, she examined both ears and asked about any problems with pain or discharge, Then after hearing test in chamber, headphones and test chamber chair are wiped down; we returned to the office and Heather reviewed test results with me and compared them with my last visit; she cleaned and adjusted connections on both aids, tested each aid by computer with mute on opposite side, and made sure everything was comfortable for me.I have recommended this office to friends in the past and will do so again...it makes all the difference to be able to hear clearly, and to have such wonderful care in the bargain!

My mother was referred to Connect Hearing by her doctor. At our first appointment, we had a consultation with Doug Kuenning in the Livermore office. Doug was fantastic and explained everything very thoroughly to my mother and I. He took his time running all the necessary hearing tests for my mother and made her feel very comfortable. Needless to say, my mother purchased hear hearing aids through Doug and is enjoying her better hearing. Thank you to Doug for taking such great care of my mom! Doug Kuenning at CONNECT HEARING ON Second street in Livermore, CA was a miracle worker as far as I’m concerned.I was on vacation and had an emergency with my hearing aid.The tip of my hearing aid came off and was lodged deep within my ear canal.I went to a big warehouse store nearby but they wouldn’t help me.CONNECT HEARING saw me without an appointment and Doug Kuenning was able to dislodge the tip from my ear.I can’t thank him enough or praise his gentle touch.He really impressed me.Denise C.Newport Beach, CA
Doug Kuenning is now in the Livermore location and hes fantastic! He is also a hearing aid recipient and hes meticulous so he really knows what the settings can do. Ive had HAs for about 3 years and have had a number of adjustments from several providers, and was getting frustrated. Then I needed a new set right before my daughters wedding! The slightly newer Phonaks (not a huge difference) and Dougs settings were soooo much better! I went all the way from pictures and ceremony through dinner and dancing without needing to change volume which was really surprising to me!
