I have gone to these guys for all of my exhaust work on my last four cars, and I couldnt recommend a business more. A pompano icon, and a really fantastic shop. They go above and beyond to make sure your vehicle gets back on the road in in far better condition than when it arrived.

I went in for an oil change and they told me 45 minutes and they got started on it right away I barely even waited everyone was so nice and cool. I would definitely go here again I always went to the dealership for an oil change but they don’t care just wanna get you up and go. Okay job! Quoted me 125-150$ kind of a hurry up and install kind of job! Welds look like bubble gum and charged me 160.50$ for a simple magnaflow install.

Steve did an amazing job for me. It was done really quick and the price was extremely reasonable!! I originally thought I had an exhaust leak, caused by the V-Band clamp. But Steve quickly identified the problem at the factory clamp. He attempted to fix it by readjusting everything, before giving me my options. I will definitely be coming back here when I need to.

I had an exhaust leak so I called in to schedule when I could bring it in, they put me down the next day, I went in, the took my car within 5 mins, put it up on the lift, let me go in and see where the leak was, and told me they could weld it for 20-30 bucks and that it would take no more than 30 mins. Took maybe 15 mins, cost 30 dollars and they fixed the leak! Great service, fast, inexpensive, professional, 10/10 highly recommended, go here for all of your exhaust needs!

This is a helpful service for those of us that can only get our cars dropped off very early before work. I have done this many times with no issues. Such an honest shop and didnt even have any work done. Spoke to Tom on the phone last week brought my car there to have him check it since another shop told me I needed a $600+ repair. He explained what it was and reassured me that it was an unnecessary repair. I found my new go to shop!!!And all the customers that were there at 8:15 am when I swung by after work seemed extremely happy and the place was packed. I called late afternoon on Wednesday to schedule an appointment for leaking exhaust system and Rich scheduled me to come in the following morning.The diagnosis was within a half hour of when I arrived and I was out the door a half hour later with the leak fixed!!I then asked to have two tires mounted on the same day and Rich accommodated me with no problems!The price was very reasonable for both tasks and there was nothing but total professionalism by all employees I encountered!I wasnt surprised to hear theyve been in business for 40 years after the exceptional service I received!They do so much more than exhaust and tires!Highly recommend for honest diagnosis and very competent work performed at a reasonable price!!Thanks to all staff who helped get my truck repaired and back on the road!

Midas quoted me $875 for a Flex Pipe on a 2004 Sonata that I use for a $29 to $35 a day Pizza Delivery job. Mad Hatter completed the repair for just $90.95. Had I gone ahead with Midas I would have had to quit my job as I would actually lose money by working as repair costs are more than I earn with cheap customers tipping me $2 to $3 per delivery. Here’s what I did:I sat and wrote down my insights.and steve the wise exhaust Man got wright to work welding and grinding and banging thing the images and sound was amazing Everything was, however, moving ever so slightly. This shop is fabulous. I had much the same experience as others posting reviews. They are very honest and up front. Then they found the quickest, smartest and least expensive way to fix my exhaust problem. I highly recommend them and will take all of my future car maintenance and repair jobs to them.

Exhaust leak. Blue Chrysler 300. The repair was fast, inexpensive and honest. Faster than a haircut, almost the same price. Plus Tom reminded me of Owen Wilson. Whoa, I mean Wow.

Great! I called around several places for a muffler on my 1999 SAAB 9-3 Convertible. Mad Hatter was by far the cheapest place for the correct muffler. They (Chuck) ordered the muffler so it would be ready to install when I arrived a few days later. I got there at 0730. The mechanic at the desk was cordial, and introduced me to the mechanic that was going to do the job (Bob). Bob drove the car on the lift and checked the entire undercarriage of the car, and agreed that only the muffler was bad. He cut the old one out, and installed the new one perfectly. Even aligning the exhaust tip with the bumper correctly so it would look even. He drove the car around front and said it was done. This entire install only took about 20 minutes and I was done! Everyone was pleasant, clean shop and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Ive done my own mechanic work all my life, but I dont currently have a garage or driveway, and condo associations frown on that sort of thing. I hate taking my car to a shop to let someone else work on it, but these guys have been great. Ive had them do a set of brakes, and a set of tires, and theyve absolutely bent over backwards to get it right, and at a fair price. The shop is clean, and all three guys Ive talked to absolutely know their business. Getting a car worked on in S. FL can be a real adventure sometimes, but not here.

My brother Nick recommended Chuck to me 10 years ago. My cars have never seen another store. HONEST AND RELIABLEI learned of Mad Hatter’s several years ago when my Lexus RX350 had a hole in the muffler. Lexus wanted $1400 to replace the entire exhaust. Discreetly, the service rep said, try Mad Hatter on Dixie, they’ll fix it, but don’t mention I sent you. Mad Hatter fixed it the same day, $70. Now, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Recently, I brought in my current car, Tom had it checked out and started a file for my records.This is why they have all 5 star reviews. They do it the right way. They earn those stars.

We love this place for our vehicles. We have an older ford truck and a newer and older model toyota and this place gets it done right and for the best prices in town! Unbelievable. I mean, I’m still in shock. I’m from out of town and Mad Hatters was recommended by Sal’s Auto Repair (great place also btw, they jacked up my car and told me what the problem was and didn’t charge me). I took my 2012 Dodge Journey for repair, it was making noise like the muffler had a hole. They’re busy, doing their best to help all customers coming in and out. The guy says let’s have a look. Turns out it’s the resonator (the smaller “muffler” in the center of the undercarriage) is cracked at the top. He tells me needs to be replaced....$85. I’m like “that’s it?” I was expecting at least a $300-$400 job. He says “I’ll just cut it off and put you a new one”. So I ask to make an appointment, i have the wife and kids with me and don’t want to waste a half day of vacation time. He says “well if you want we can do it right now, give me 20 minutes”. This is not normal. I’m confused. In Quebec, you don’t even get the paperwork done in 20 minutes. I hand the keys and have a seat. I swear, 10 minutes later... 10 MINUTES!!! the mechanic walks in with my keys in his hand and I’m sure it’s because he forgot to do something before starting... I hear “sir, you’re all set.” Wait, what?!?! “$85 plus tax, that’ll be $90.10”. This can’t be. Not this easy. Not in my wildest dreams would a auto repair interaction play out like this. I gladly handed him $120 and left with never having been more satisfied in my life. Great job, highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Went into Mad Hatters on Wednesday, 9/26/18, and had them install a Magnaflow with duel exhaust on my 2017 Tacoma. They did a great job. Plus, the service and friendliness is top notch. Price was very fair for what they did for me. Ended up that the interior noise was a little louder than the YouTube sound bites sounded... So, I went back in the next day and Tom Parker and their muffler guy fixed me right up. I couldnt be happier. I read their Google reviews prior to going there... and they were absolutely spot on. I had a bolt lodged in my Hondas tire. They had a shop full of work, but still took me in right away. Bob had the bolt out and the tire plugged in no time, & replaced my dome light, & the whole repair cost less than $20. Try doing that at a dealer! Both the owner & the mechanic were friendly & honest. Ill take my car here again, for sure.
