I brought my 2005 Corvette to Vette Experts for a new clutch and Mobil 1 oil change. Tony was professional and takes pride in his work. He did a great job and went above and beyond any Chevrolet dealership service. I recommend his shop.

My husband and I had previously taken our corvette to Vette experts for a clutch replacement the service was great, we later had a engine problem, it is a very small shop, that cant handle large jobs, our car was damaged there, lack of communication. Be very careful when paying cash. The service was poor, (sloppy ) not trust worthy, caused other machanical issues to keep you coming back to get more money. Remember you dont have to be loud to get what you want.

Worked with Tony on our 1976 Stingray restoration. A pleasure to work with. Very hands-on and communicates well with his clients. Tony and Vettexperts crew took my 2002 Camaro Z28 with a blown engine and explained all my options before we decided to go with the LS1 to an LS3 376/480 swap, then we added A/R headers, a sweet throttle body set-up, and a killer Borla exhaust system, which not only gave it life, but turned it into a force to be reckoned with. After giving it the perfect tune it now runs awesome and sounds amazing. I now use Vettexperts for all my Camaro needs. I bought my “98 Camaro on June 4th 2014. when I did I bought it as a project car. I’ve been fixing it up ever since. After taking care of basic maintenance & repairs to return the Camaro back to stock, I started modifying it. I started with easy stuff first, I wanted to make sure I built a solid platform for what was later to come so first I upgraded the suspension. Then I did a few minor upgrades to the engine to increase horsepower.When I was ready to take the Camaro to the next level I started looking for a reliable performance shop. I wanted to have some dyno tuning done. After scouring the internet for shops that offer dyno tuning in South Florida I decided to head over to Corvette Experts where I met Tony. The first time I brought Tony the Camaro he found several things that needed to be addressed before the Camaro was ready to hit the dyno.Tony then did a few performance upgrades to the engine to increase horsepower & installed a Posi Traction in the differential. After that he put the Camaro on the dyno, tuned it & told me what the current horsepower & torque numbers were. Some time later I brought the Camaro back to Tony for some basic maintenance & a few more minor performance upgrades. When I picked up the Camaro Tony & I got to talking & he told me that if I wanted to get more power out of the Camaro we could add a supercharger.Recently I brought my Camaro back to Corvette Experts because I decided to take Tony up on his offer to add forced induction to the Camaro. Tony was able to get me a complete turbo kit along with all the supporting mods to get it working properly. Since I’ve had the Camaro backI’ve driven it several times. Let me tell you, she’s a beast! Tony & his guys are guru’s when it comes to anything high performance.I have always received outstanding service. The pros @ Corvette Experts can handle anything from an oil change to performance upgrades to frame off restorations. They always have the most beautiful cars in the shop which just speaks to the quality of work that they do. I live about 70 miles away from Pompano Beach & I’m more than happy to take a drive to go see Tony & his guys anytime I need a substantial amount of work that would be over the heads of most mechanics.Tony is polite & professional I don’t have any regrets taking my Camaro to Tony Gounis & his guys @ Corvette Experts. As long as I have the Camaro or any other high performance car, I will continue to give them my business. The guys @ Corvette Experts do quality work, although it may not always be speedy work. If you ask them to do something complicated & time consuming they want to work out all the little gremlins that usually arise while installing something like a turbocharger.

One of the best shops in South Florida. Been a hectic first 6 months of ownership for my 06 Corvette- Everything from routine maintenance to a hydro locked motor requiring a full rebuild. Vette Xperts has been clutch every time. Tony Chris and Steve do great work. They’ve graciously taken my car on short notice and even stored it throughout a nightmare insurance claim. Prices are fair and you get what you pay for. Top notch in diagnosing issues and they order quality parts. Also take care of the little things such as topping off washer fluid and fixing exhaust rattles which is a huge plus for me. Tony the owner is always honest and open to questions. Not often you find a shop where you have 100% confidence in their integrity and quality of work. Would highly recommend.

They may specialize in Corvettes, but they got my Toyota Corolla back up and running like new! Tony was great. He explained the problem, and even saved the broken part so he could show me what issue was. And he was able to squeeze me in at the last minute (which I don’t recommend but appreciated immensely). Honest and reliable is hard to find in South Florida. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone!

I want to give a big thank you to Tony and his staff for their excellent work on my C5 Z06. Tony is very professional and is willing to take the time to talk with you to make sure you have no unanswered questions. I had an intake, long tube headers and xpipe installed along with a tune. Car is running amazing! No issues or check engine light. The work was completed quickly and unlike some shops that return your car dirty or with greasy hand prints everywhere you can tell that Tony and his staff take very good care of your vehicle. I will without a doubt be a returning customer when I need some more work done to my car. I would highly recommend VetteXperts to anyone looking for an honest shop that really knows what theyre doing.

I would not recommend this shop... I had a terrible experience which should not have happened given that this shop markets itself as an Expert on Corvettes... and Ive read the shops responses to negative comments posted here which I find totally inappropriate and indicative of the experience I had dealing with this shop. I do not recommend.

Went in for a standard problem with 86 instrument cluster not working.Its all over internet .You do a trade out with a rebuilt one.He tells me he needs to see the car.Also he doesnt let you buy any parts .I asked him why?Because Im in business to make money is his response.Hes misleading and he wont save you any money .Standard job is basic.Hes got cars all over the place and not enough mechanics to do work

Well it started out having my 1966 corvette towed to shop as it needed carburetor work.They took care of that with ease then i had them do a check on the entire car .I have owned this car for over 20 years and could never find a shop that new what they were doing when it came to mid year corvettes.I spoke with tony the shop owner and agreed to extensive work to the car all new suspension front and back brakes and things that it needed.I then decided to put in air conditioning . Also had paint work done and the car was painted in lacquer no problem his paint shop he deals with had no problem. This shop is the place you want to bring your corvette to if you are looking for someone who knows what there doing. His mechanics are the best. clean shop good communication . Ive been taking my Toyota Camry to VetteXperts for approximately 6-7 years now. I originally met the owners wife through work and she referred me to Tony when I ran into car troubles and was looking for a reliable, trustworthy mechanic in the area. Im so glad she did because Tony is always straight forward with me about what needs to be done with my car and how much it will cost. They worked on my 2014 CTS V Caddy Wagon and did a great job installing a new aftermarket cold air induction system, oil change and brake job at an affordable price. Highly recommended

Just had a bad experience with this shop. Mr. Tony is friendly and all but the communication was not the best. They kept my car for 6 weeks and at the last minute told me that they were not going to work on my car because my car had an issue with the drive line since is a lowrider and it had an aftermarket driveline. Took my car home, change the driveline for the original one, change new bolts in the pinion and problem solve. Took me 1 hour to figure it out how to resolve that issue. I even told mr. Tony that it was a hood idea to switch the aftermarket driveline for the original one which I had it at home and to replace one of the bolt threads that was bad and he didnt even want to try it. He did replace the fuel sender which it was causing a problem but thats it. The deal was to inspect the car completely, bleed the brakes and ac lines. Like I say 6 weeks later only thing done was the fuel sender. Not only that I end up with a bill of $1300. Honestly if he wouldve told me that at the begging I would have take my car somewhere else. Not making me loose so much time.You know say that during the 6 period of time you had a communication with me. How many times did you bother to call me to tell me anything about my car. Because I have the prove of how many times you did. (0) It was me calling every week to hear the same story. Even though my car is Cadillac it has an lt1 engine which is the same as the older Corvette which you say you an expert. I made the biggest mistake trusting my car with such a dishonest guy. If the job was to big for you to handle why didnt you told me the same moment the car arrived in the tow truck and I should have taken somewhere else. Im not concerned about the money you took from me. Its the time that I cant recover. The driveline issue was fixed in an hour after I put the original so dont say that it was a bigger issue. When I sat on you office I told you to inspect the car and if there was anything wrong fix it. I even told you to not worry about money because I wanted a quality job which you definitely didnt.It sounds ridiculous and unprofessional that after so long with my car there, basically not performing any work on my car, you say that you were so kind with me that only was going to charge me 3 hours labor. In 6 weeks and supposedly work 3 hours on my car for $1300. Give me a break.Definitely not recommend this guy to anyone.

Tony is a wizard at performing any mechanical job, he and his crew at VetteXPerts have been the only ones that I have let work on my 63 Stingray for years, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Fair prices, great service, quality work, honest & open communication and strong work ethics are hard to find but not here. Ive been taking my Lexus to Tony for years, and couldnt recommend him highly enough. Mostly its been for alternators/batteries and tune-ups and such, but a few times with fairly major repairs and hes always fairly priced with a quick turnaround. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I call this shop no answer.But he told me to replace all.then he call and say since they look new leave them.i wanted his experience to satisfy the noise and not all these basic stuff like hose change I can do at my shop here in delray.w.ell I felt its neccessary to leave a review because it help me in detouring here for service I needed.still have the same issue after I left shop...a few other needed advise and almost forcefully into fixing other stuff that wasnt my priorities...Good work but the main issue I needed done still lies below .......irrational squeaking and it was an unexpected spending on a car thats park and driven once since.....I got to hit the dealer next i guess...Im afraid to go back there...i give opinions in my line of work and hate making a customer feels like Im selling service..My problem still lies from day 1.Im happy with the other items been sold into doing but the main problems are still there and I never went back.....afraid to ......I have not the tolerance

I have a 2005 corvette and with 124,000 miles on it when I blew up my engine. I was lucky enough to know about VetteXperts and the smartest thing I did was send my car here. They replaced my engine, clutch, flywheel, etc. and gave me an outstanding price as well as getting my car back to me within a week. I have taken it back or brakes, rotors, and will continue for as long as I own corvettes. And I still get a kick out of the follow-up call just to make sure everything is ok the next day. I live in Jupiter, FL, and recently brought my 2000 C5 Corvette to VetteXperts to be put on the Dyno and tuned. I bought the car in May 2018, and knew that it had been modified, but was not sure really what I was dealing with under the hood, and had already spent about $3,500 in general repairs including new engine mounts. Tony performed a full diagnostic on the car, which he said was part of the required process before doing the dyno testing, and came back to me quickly with a thorough list of problems that needed to be addressed. He comes across as a no BS straight-shooter, focused solely on facts and following an orderly process to deliver on a repetitive basis the best results possible. He explained to me everything that needed to be done, gave me an estimate, and we agreed to move forward. Workmanship was of a very high caliber and the job was completed in a timely manner. Results from the Dyno and the repair work done have so far been excellent, as my car is running smoother, gas mileage better, acceleration FAST, all cylinders firing, engine looking and sounding amazing, and potential problems that were identified and remediated should save me quite a bit of money in the long run. I would highly recommend VetteXperts for the Dyno work and any vehicle diagnostic and repairs. The only thing that keeps me from giving VetteXperts a 5 star rating is that I think the mark-up on some of the OEM parts was a little on high side, but the final finished product and convenience of having the work completed properly and in a timely manner was well worth any of the upside that I provided the Business. I am a very satisfied customer.

Tony is a know it all kind of guy, every question you ask is a huge inconvenience for him and try’s to make you feel stupid.C5 Visit#1. Small valve cover leak. Tony tells me engine is blown, try’s to sell me new engine for 10k.Visit#2. Belt squeal on start up. From his desk chair says- All pulleys are shot, all belts are bad, all tensioners are bad, they will all need to be replaced. LolI’m done with this guy he’s a joke..

I have worked with VetteXperts for the last 18 months on a restoration project. Regardless on who you work with restoring a 40 year old car is a long and expensive process so you need to be patient. This is not a dealership or Jiffylube so be prepared for different type of experience. Tony and his staff were effective in communication regarding issues with my car and pricing. This is boutique shop with a long waiting list so dont expect 30 minute service. When I had an issue or did not like something they fixed it to my specifications. If I wasnt realistic they brought me back to reality. Im a difficult person by nature, if they can deal with me they deal with anyone.

Went to speak about getting work done. Tony was a completely unfriendly person. I think he hates his job. Dont waste your time like I did. There looking to rip you off.

The experience was a 16 months nightmare. It started in January of 2016, and ended in May of 2017, and thats not the worst part. After almost $50K in parts and labor, nothing is working as it should.First estimate, was like $18 thousand. Then slowly, after they claimed the quoted job was done, something else would come up. This kept happening to me until we reached almost $50 thousand.Personally, I would not recommend to anybody to take their car here. I paid for full coilover suspension, rack and pinion steering, rebuilt engine and transmission, and everything else you can think of. The car rattles, shakes and moves left and right.The most incredible part of this terrible experience, is that they dont even bother to answer to my requests to fix all the problems. No aknowledgemnt of any responsibility. Once I was forced to pay in full so I could take my car with me, they stopped answering to my emails, phone calls, etc.Current situation as of June/2018: Tony, I’m glad that at least you read my review, but just as during our 16 months ordeal, you keep twisting the truth. I would love to discuss with you when in your mind I changed directions and did all the things that you say I did.The fact of the matter is that as of today, haven’t been able to use the vehicle because the steering wheel is way too long at it almost hits me in the chest. The hand brake doesn’t work. If I leave the battery connected for 2 days without turning on the engine, the battery gets completely depleted. The internal gauges and clock, don’t work properly. The car smells like gasoline all the time because the return to the tank is not properly done. The suspension clanks in all four wheels. And I don’t want to go on, because the list is too long. Everything was done and charged by you, and paid to you, and nothing works. If you didn’t have the time to answer my emails, specially after I specifically told you since the first day, that I travel more than half of the time, you should have said so, and not take the job.AN HONEST person, after taking all that money, at the very least would contact the customer, and do everything in his power to fix the problems that are still there, and I haven’t fixed, as you took all the money already. Responsibility is the most important thing. Take responsibility and fix all the issues. You have my phone number and my email. No excuses for not contacting me, after I tried sooo many times. I can show you, and any third party that you want to bring in, that you didn’t do a good job at all, and the worse part, is the defensive attitude and not taking responsibility.UPDATE 1: As of today, April 7th, 2019, I’m still out of $50K, and the car is still sitting in my garage because NOBODY, and let’s make this very clear, ABSOLUTELY NOBODY from vettexperts has even bothered to contact me. Not even to ask “hello, how is everything with you car” or “is there anything that we could do to fix any problems you may have”, etc. The car is a safety hazard. The steering column is at least 4”-5” longer than it should be. The steering rod is so long, that they forced it to make a very sharp turn, which causes it to bind sometimes. The power steering pump, was mounted sideways. Imagine the amount of fluid that leaks all the time. The center console gets so hot after using the car for 10-15 minutes, that if you touch it, you get burned (part of the $50K was for to rebuild engine and transmission, and install insulation in all the car). The list goes on, and I am completely amazed as to how they “reply” to all the bad reviews, and it’s always the customer’s fault. Really? The customer is always wrong in this shop? Anyway, and this part of the message is directly addressed to Tony, as the owner of the shop; don’t you think that if a customer is complaining about something, the very least you could do, is contact the customer and see how can you take responsibility for charging all that money, and fix the issues that your customer is saying that are wrong? Your actions say a lot about your character.
