They sell rebuild kit without a picture, where their very expensive kit is not including crucial seal.Additionally they charge me $9 shipping for 1/10 ounce of parts.Their response for refusing refund is that I am not professional.Does that looks like stuff worth $40 to you?

While negative reviews for DGX are rare, I can tell you first hand that negative reviews only come from from fake accounts, people who didnt make contact with DGX before posting a review, or folks that just arent good people. I cant say enough about this outfit. They mostly do business online and carry the highest quality dive gear and definitely take a DIR approach both in recreational and technical dive equipment. Easy and fast first experience with Diver Gear Express. I went directly to this location because I wasnt clear at first they were an online only store and wanted to see what it was all about. This is the warehouse but you can pick up orders here and they have people that are able to help you if needed.They had the items in stock that I was interested in and pulled them for me to see before I purchased them. I just placed the order online while there and they were filled immediately by their extremely helpful employees. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend DGE to anyone that finds they stock what they are interested in.

I met an employee on a dive recently and she was telling me all about the company. I have been wanting a pair of Poseidon One Dive Boot. I called in advance and spoke to Keith and made sure they were open. The hours can be a little difficult for us working folk :-). Keith was really nice and helpful. I purchased a new Dive Rite BCD and backplate just before Christmas and last week I noticed rust spots on the plate. I called Dive Gear Express and explained what was going on with it & as I dont live far away from the store so was told to bring it in the next day. By the time I got there they had talked to Dive Rite got the ok to swap it out and already had a new one ready for me and swapped it over they also made some small modifications to the way I had the BCD set up that made it even more comfortable in the water . Sometimes you dont realize how good a store is until there is an issue that needs sorting.

Ive ordered much of my Dive Gear from this shop and for the most part things were very good. A very important note though when ordering things that require a fit. If you want free shipping and free returns you need to keep at least $50 worth of the equipment. So if you plan to order anything where size and fit is a question make sure you get other things you need so you qualify for free returns and shipping. I was changed for shipping after the fins I really wanted would not fit in either the large or xlarge size. After a phone call with some not so helpful customer service I have decided to not buy from them again. Hope this helps someone else when ordering things that need to be shipped.

Ordered a Shearwater Perdix dive computer. I am located outside of the US and the computer came in great condition. Cant wait to get into the water for a test dive. I finally placed an order and experienced it firsthand.I placed my order online (9/21) and requested to pick it up the following day. I brought my current Mares regulator setup and a new Dive Rite 1st and 2nd stage me. I wanted their professionals to assemble it for me. Their team member Ian was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He took my current Mares octo and placed it on my new DR 1st stage which I brought with me. Then he took all the hoses from my order and assembled it onto the DR first stage. Lastly, he placed the DR 2nd stage I brought with me to this setup. Its now ready to be used.I always refer to American Express when I talk about the best customer service -- Dive Gear Express is on that level! While this was my first order with DGX, it will not be my last.Plus, I got to play with Dex the dog while I was there!Thank you!
