Giving Walmart a 3 star due to the circumstances. If I could leave stars for the bakery, I would leave 0. I ordered my sons birthday cake 16 days in advance because I had a bad experience else where another time and his cake was 2 hours late. I gave specific detail for decoration and pickup time because due to everything else I would have to do that day, I knew I wouldn’t have time to wait all day for another cake. Went to pick up his cake and flat out said I was not paying for it. Not only was it sloppy and drowned in icing, my sons name was spelled wrong even AFTER giving his name and spelling when I placed the order. An employee from elsewhere looked at the cake and said “I wouldn’t pay for that.. that looks like crap… let me take it and find a manager” They came by to let us know that they were having it fixed. We waited almost an hour on the cake. They came back and offered the cake for free. The girl who decorated the cake said she is “not a cake decorator.” So why have people decorating cakes who can’t do the job?? I ordered the cake 16 days in advance and there was no one who knew what they were doing? I wouldn’t complain because we didn’t end having to pay for it but I did purchase another cake to present at his party and he didn’t have a cake to match his theme plus the hassle. I’ll post a picture of what I ordered and what I got.

Cleaner than most, actually had everything I went for and even though the money center was closed they actually had associates that knew how to do money services at the service desk!! To many Walmarts dont train service desk to take over if money services is closed! This location was great overall!!

Had 4 new tires put on by 8:30am on the day after the fourth, an observed holiday for most people. It was one of those experiences that you just know God created! The staff in the automotive center are amazing individuals! Thank you so much!

Its Walmart... You can buy car engines or even real coffins. You can pretty much buy anything you need. But not everything is at the store. If your planning on dying soon or your motor for your car is out you can get them overnighted and picked up at the store or delivered.

It is a good place to shop. We went the day after Christmas, I figured it would be packed but it wasnt to bad. They have a clean store. Nice meat department as well as the bakery was nice. Oklahoma passed the higher percentage of alcohol to be sold in stores now so they had a real nice display of adult beverages. The customer service was good. They had 7 of their 12 lanes open watch was a nice site to see. The lady that checked us out was real nice and patience. We had several items we wanted to get priced check before we purchased and she did so with no problem. We love about 30 minutes from this Walmart and we will definitely go back.

Went to the store in ponca City about 7:00 in the evening and there was not a person one in the store the new hat to cut a piece of glass you got all these new young people walking around playing with their cell phone when they should be paying attention to the man that is showing them how to cut glass it is not that hard could have done it myself if I was allowed to use their equipment

Definitely has a lot of clothing, for Men kids, Women the whole family has what you need is really kept stock nice and clean this Walmart is one of the better Walmarts I say in 30 miles

Ive had a mix of experinces here while shopping and while working there as well. The workers are awesome. Obviously walmart is doing something right when you have people that have worked there for 20+ 40+ years. Shopping there is a whole other story, no one really ever working in sporting good.. At literally any walmart in the US lol workers not knowing where items are at.. Isles messy bathrooms are usually clean. But all in all.. Usually they have what im looking for. They price match.. Thats awesome. Love the pharmacy, very nice people there. Ill always find myself coming back to this Walmart.

There will be people backed up into the clothing and still only have two registers open (I dont consider the self checkout as having any open). A REAL manager would step up to a register and help till the lines were brought down. Not here. The guy will just stand in ladies clothes looking at everyone. PATHETIC.

Store is pretty good, but the customers are rude, pushing, almost run over small children and dont have a problem getting so close to you that you can feel them breathing. Even if there was no covid its nasty.

Absolutely love the clearance aisle! I just got a gallon of Kills paint and primer and lamp with USB outlet. Yes!

It was a busy place today but everybody getting in out in pretty fast . Nice place to cool off. Seen lots a smiles today hope every body made it in an out as fast as I didA crowd an smiles thats a good day.

Associates are not friendly and management is not helpful at all. I do not going inside this store at all due to the attitudes of the people who work there. I had one cashier that could not even look up and look me in the eye and did not speak the entire check-out....no thanks no nothing. Just looked at me with a blank face ....whoever trained these people did a bad job in my personal experience.

Its Walmart but they usually have cashiers open which I like I prefer them to check me out versus self checkout they dont have a line at 6 am though

Its Walmart, parking is always an issue. Its a huge shopping area and parking needs to accommodate the consumer. How about making better buildings? Store is clean, staff is average like most Walmart outlets. Walmart as a whole needs realignment with the masses.

Just wish they could afford more checkers,or give you a discount for self checkout. This is getting old, standing in line waiting for your turn to check out.Our local grocery store is looking better each time I go to Walmart.

What I liked was that there were clean karts and building and friendly service.

I shop Walmart often so I can usually find things easily. Im handicapped so I use the electric carts. The new ones are terrible, they either wont go or go on their own. Today my cart moved forward on its own running into an older lady. I come close to running into people many times because it goes forward or backwards on its own. Theyre dangerous

Walmart is my go-to place for everything you can find stuff for the grandmother to the children stuff for outside killing things for the home kitchenware sleepwear entertainment I mean its great place to go I have found everything that I need at Walmart Im a tool woman I love tools I got my first saw there and it works great

There was a lady in front of me checking out, was very nice, talked a little about family. Unbeknownst to me the lady paid 20 dollars on my bill. If you see this thank you will definitely pay it forward when can

Everyone is polite, the workers help you when you have a question, respectful, an keeps the store really clean an dusted as well . I love it but maybe if they sanitized the cashier / selfcheckout scanners more often besides when asked . Other then that i love it .

I ordered online for pickup and was in quite a hurry and my order was ready early which I appreciated much in the young man that helped me with my order was very kind and I will definitely use this service again.

Best shopping experience! I just dropped off my girlfriend at the front and wah-lah! I just earned myself a 30 min nap! Definitely 10 out of 10 I will be returning for my weekly nap sesh!

It was clean, neat, fast, and I was greeted at the door.

Wish I didnt have to use this one. Lines to be checked out are always excessive! The employees are far and few between and most dont want to be bothered. But have to go there periodically, believe me I try not to.I gave it a 2 because employees in the grocery and pharmacy area are helpful.I really like the little walmart in Blackwell Oklahoma, but it is just too small sometimes for what I need.

Had to wait for someone to wait on us for about 25 minutes good in line for a good 10 minutes because all the self checking Isles or turned off very then there were employees just walking around doing nothing poor management

Not bad for a community walmart.

In the years that I lived here, they have done renovations. But they don’t keep up with the cleanliness inside. We’re out here “fighting covid” and I grab a “sanitized” hand basket only to look down at the wet ring of filth under where the handles rest. There’s literal balls of fluff and dirt under the shelves where they put your families food. That you have to work so hard for. I shop here because I’m poor. And it has personally effected my mental health for years. Do better for the community. You don’t even open all of the registers for the holidays. Knowing damn well there are people who could use that work. Greed. I’m tired of seeing it everywhere. Everyone shops here. I know y’all have it like that. To make things CLEAN and functional.

Well....just another of many Walmart reviews. I give it a biased 3 stars as a former employee of a completely different location. I was in the area so this was the most convenient location for me at the time.The store has a fairly decent amount of foot traffic and the main aisles arent quite spacious enough with all the stuff crammed down the middle of them. All it takes is two people to stop and look at stuff or to chat and they completely block one side or my favorite of inconsiderate people who stop their carts on one side and look at stuff on the other. Makes distancing difficult.Store was clean and staff seamed friendly enough.

Holiday weekend was packed people hurrying.but were polite.had to wait people were very polite and social distancing was practiced.

Was going to place an online grocery order. No delivery available for the next seven days and no pick up available for the next 3 days. Really? Called to ask if maybe the website was not working correctly (to give benefit of the doubt) was put on hold for over 10 minutes, no one ever picked up. Ponca City Walmart..... great job there!

Everywhere has really let themselves get complacent, and lazy since covid, but this place tops the cake. Grocery pick up? 3 times I used it, I received someone elses groceries, and not all of mine. Next two times same thing, get home and missing stuff that I paid for. Its such a hassle here.

Cart attendant bumps into my car, continues on, approaches me and says he didnt do what he just did. A simple yes, sorry would of solved it. Watch your vehicle in the lot, its not safe!

This particular location the employees are rude. Everytime we go there we have issues. Wont let you hand enter ebt card that wont work on their keypads. UNLESS, your Indian! Had to explain 5 times to 3 different employees that I needed exchange tickets for bottled water as the return machine doesnt work. How hard is it to hand someone 4 tickets for bottle return credit when you have the empties in your cart?

Pharmacy is really good. They work hard to help.Large store, lots of merchandise.Other customers seem really frustrated about not enough checkers. I use self check but not everyone knows how.

It is always hard to find a worker on the floor to ask questions to and why do they have all those registers and no workers,the company is having problems I hear,and from the PCOK Walmart it is bad customer service, I dread having to go anymore. 😫

Waited 10 minutes for help in jewelry and then the person who came could not help me and told me to come back later. This is the kind of service that is offered at Wal-Mart.

Love the selection and always quick in and out I use the self check out and staff is very friendly and helpful
