Pharmacy is in capable of handling orders. Every single time I come to get my prescription refilled there is always an issue. They either need more help or they need to hire somebody who’s capable of doing their job. I would not recommend this pharmacist choose another pharmacy.
Do not do pharmacy business with them. They will to you off and dont fix it. I told them I had good RX but they wouldnt except it which they say they do.
2 hours after three prescriptions were sent in, I got an automated phone call saying my Rx was delayed. No specific reason given. After about 10 minutes of being on hold, I was told by the tech that insurance wasnt going to cover one of them so they hadnt started on any of them. I was told it would be about another hour. 75 minutes later, I arrive at the store where I wait 10 minutes at the counter for someone to finally wait on me, just to be told that it would be another 40-60 minutes. I was assured that I would receive a text when they were ready. I dont live in town, so an inconvenience to make multiple trips. It has now been 7 1/2 hours since my Dr. sent in the Rxs & still no confirmation they are ready. Glad they werent critically urgent. What a joke! I will be finding a new pharmacy.
The pharmacy isnt the best. But the store itself is nice and I like being able to use my points for really good discounts. They were also super kind and helpful with my passport pictures.
Walgreens management is obviously “trying” to get by with minimum staffing. This is apparent while shopping inside the store and for me especially while on line at the pharmacy drive-thru. The wait is usually tolerable and staff is always friendly but whenever traffic increases the bare bones staffing tests the nerves of both customers and staff.During long waits it becomes obvious that there is only a single “pharmacy tech” on duty handling the lines inside and outside and the situation becomes hard to endure. Why can’t Walgreens increase their staffing or at least cross train staff members to help when customer volume is difficult to handle. Another way to ease the situation might be to block access to one drive thru lane to limit customer volume, nobody likes to wait on a long line and it becomes easier for a busy customer to get out of line. The bottom line is that Wallgreens management is failing both customers and their own staff. If management were competent, staff wouldn’t be stressed out and I wouldn’t be writing this review.
Walgreens doesnt even deserve 1 star!A video shows appalling treatment of a customer. Heather who slapped the man needs to be FIRED and rude Nathan in the pharmacy does too!!!Please hire decent people for Walgreens.
They are transphobic and refused to help me in anyway! The people that work here are a waste of human skin
Best and most compassionate medical folks I’ve ever had. Been going here for 7-8 years. Many years ago it was an unpleasant experience but a few years back it changed. They are the most complete and efficient pharmaceutical store iver ever been a customer at. I don’t even want to imagine not having them in my life. I have so many medications but they always make it easy and quick. Don’t want to name names because they are all collectively the best experienced team I have ever come across for my Rx needs. Furthermore, I don’t want to leave anyways name out because they are all equally special to me. Thank you Walgreens of Ponca city, y’all are the best people in the business around here!! Both Pharmacists and And management in the regular store always take cate of me whenever any situations arises. I usually chat with them about life and how our days are going, whether on the phone or in person. They all remember by my name it feels awesome to know these people really care about me and I really care about them, too!!!
Whats the point of making an appointment online for a covid vaccine if walk-ins are accepted and you have to wait in line?
Could not find my photos
I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. When I arrived the lady working told me it would be 30-40 minutes before my prescription was ready due to the clinic sending it to the wrong one. Upon returning 30 minutes later, there was 1 customer is the drive thru on the outside lane and I pulled up to the window waiting. I was there for 3 minutes while they were helping the 1st customer. When they were done the lady shut the window on me and told me I would have to come back after their lunch break. Now I understand an employee has a right for his or her break BUT it was very rude and unprofessional the way she handled it. She failed to mention their break time the first time I had went. Im not one to complain but I live out of town and having to drive back 2 times to be sent home is ridiculous!! I think I will use a different pharmacy from now on.
As far as the pharmacy goes, let me put it this way, if Connie is not there, things don’t get done as they should, in order for that pharmacy to run the way it should, she has to be there. Otherwise the other people are very slow, and take forever to process everything. You call n ask for something n half the time they don’t know what they are doing, very disappointed, wish there was a few more other places to shop for meds. Not good at all! They don’t get trained right. A dark skin lady, needs more training and so does the young guy with the long hair, the other pharmacist are really slow and drag their feet to do things.
Bad passport pics
The price on the shelf wasnt accurate, at the register. The item rang up double the price. The cashier thought it might have something to do with rewards, and want interested in resolving this issue. I suggest shopping at an alternative store that doesnt play games without pricing at the register. It was obvious from the cashiers reaction that this was a routine issue with this company or location. Ill not be stopping at this location again, and in fact this experience has tarnished on opinion of the Walgreens brand in general.
Absolutely slowest Walgreens I have ever been to dont expect to be in line less than an hour!
Went to the store today to take advantage of some of the in store savings. Bev and the cashier there during lunch were very nice and helpful.
I needed to pick up a prescription and I was thoroughly parched so I decided to go in as there was only one car in drive-thru at the pharmacy and theres not very many cars in the parking lot. After about a 15-minute wait I decided just to leave my drink and other random purchases and go through drive-thru. I got through in under two minutes. Most ridiculous wait Ive ever had in my life. Oh I forgot to mention the store manager was aware of the situation. Get yourself together walgreens.
High prices and just okay.
The slowest and most unprofessional pharmacy Ive ever dealt with.
Pharmacist made a mistake but wouldnt admit to it. Tonis pharmacy even agreed with me and had words with the girl in the pharmacy. When I called the store manager things got worse. They called my doctor and tried to get me kicked out. Stay away from ponca city walgreens. They are rude, snide know it alls..
Ok, way better than Wal Mart
Slow and unorganized.
Good pharmacy
