Michael, Mark and Andrew did an awesome job installing our Pergo floors! Randy, the owner and coordinator was great to work with. He was fair with pricing, offered a wonderful selection of products and was in constant communication throughout the process. Everyone on his team does great work! Randy’s team was punctual, professional and courteous during the installation process.I highly recommend Mr. Bid and his team!

Hired Randy and Mr. Bid Services team on a full house design and renovation services in Detroit with Shawn as the PM for much of it. Project was very slow to execute (took 17 months) and I never felt like I was treated like a customer. It was more like they were doing me a favor anytime I asked for updates or pushed for progress to be done.Was disappointed in timeliness and quality of workmanship by Mr. Bid and its subcontractors. Mr. Bid Services has also refused to honor the construction warranty to address issues discovered within first few months of completion. Examples of mistakes included not flashing a vent to the roof, failure to hardware smoke alarms, drywalling over outlets/live wires, failure to create drain system for attic air handler condensate, failure to vent toilets, not affixing counter to cabinets, and overall poor planning of cabinetry measurements.I ended up having to hire a plumber, HVAC, and electrician to fix some of the critical problems left over by Mr. Bid. Additionally the LVT flooring that they recommended and installed has already started to come apart in several places. I have reached out to Mr. Bid regarding warranty work for the above items and have been met with radio silence. Do not recommend.

We had a great experience shopping at Mr. Bid.We had the best service with the nicest and knowledgeable person, Randy. We would highly recommend Mr. Bid for all of your needs. Great quality merchandise! My extended family had a great experience there. Loved my carpet!!!

I recently had a floor makeover in my modular home. Jackie came out the same day I called to give me a bid. The materials were ordered and project was due to start in 2 weeks. Project was started on time by Curt who was so kind and friendly. He didnt even seemed bothered by my dog who was on the other side of the bathroom door ready to eat him! Floor was done beautifully in the timeframe we agreed on. I am beyond thrilled!! I will definitely use Mr. Bid again!

Treat the customer as the customer!! Mr. Bid fails at that! If the customer doesn’t want contractors/strangers in their home, respect it. You say you’ll have a project manager then have one. Ours quit and was never replaced. Kitchen remodel never finished. Spoke to all of the contractors and the same thing was said. They were concerned about getting paid. All contractors are really subs that own their own businesses. They don’t work for Randy. Beware you’ll never see breakdowns on cost. Still waiting for kitchen to be finished from march 15,2020. Save yourself the stress go to someone else.

Its been 2 years they did horrible work never finished Im still repairing and finishing their job wishing their job what a hack would not recommend him to nobody.

Mr. Bids came through for me I called on Monday for an appointment and they set me up on Thursday the same week. The prices are excellent and the work is phenomenal. I love my new carpet. Randy goes over and beyond to keep prices low. Very professional.

I actually found Mr. Bid Services USA on home advisor for a kitchen update. He sent a project manager out to review my current outdated kitchen and my wishes based on budget. I had just bought my home so my budget was extremely tight with all the other projects I had going on. The project manager Mark was able to take the vision that I had and turned into a budget friendly project. He suggested options to update my kitchen and it literally looks like a new kitchen now. I am so happy with the result. The guys started the project last Thursday and finished this Monday. They were quick and professional. I’ll be hiring Mr. Bid for future home renovation projects.

I had just purchased a beautiful home in Rochester. I knew I wanted to repair some cosmetic issues with the wood floors. The entire main level was all wood floor and a bedroom 2nd level.We had a time pressure with a scheduled move date.At first decided to hold off for 4 weeks after the move, however, just didnt make sense for us, really the best time for this project when empty of furniture.Randy at Mr. Bid made it happen! We agreed did not want to sacrifice quality for compressed timing, so I was able to bump the move date a week and Mr. Bid was able to get the project in the schedule.The Quality of the job was just Fantastic! What a great difference!And, I am so happy we could make it happen before the move, I would go back to Mr. Bid in a heart beat for further projects in my house!Steven

I just wanted to say a few things about the work that Mr. Bid did for me. I had them remodel my kitchen last year and was finished August of 2019.I could not be happier with the work that was performed. Randy worked with me to come in on budgetAnd allowed me to perform some of the work my self to save some money. The project manager Shawn was a great help and was very customer orientated. He called to inform me of what would be happening and when it would happen. What they say will happen is what happens and on time. The whole project took about 8 weeks even with 4th of July holiday. 2019 Review: Rob was awesome. He expeditiously got us scheduled, and got the work done. The carpet was reasonably priced. The new carpet looks fantastic. Thanks!2020 Update: Changed my rating to 3 from 5 stars. We had more carpet installed in 3 bedrooms in our home. After painting the room before moving everything back in, we vacuumed. The carpet wasnt stretched to be tight; also, its not thoroughly nailed around the edges as it should be. I can lift the carpet around most of the sides of the room. If I wanted an unattached carpet, I wouldve gotten a large area rug. I am highly dissatisfied with the amount of money I paid for the carpet and installation. I was expecting better service. I also question if the carpet we paid for is the carpet we received.

Mr Bid did work on my rental house. He took pictures before and after every step of the way. He is very knowledgeable and worked with in my budget. He has an amazing team of people that know what they are doing. The end result was beyond my expectations!!!!

We have utilized Mr. Bid twice in the last year. The first time my dental office flooded and Mr. Bid was recommended by the Michigan Dental Association. Mr. Bid fabricated beautiful custom cabinets, painted, as well as installed a beautiful floor! We worked with Shannon who was always professional and her attention to detail was fantastic. The second time we utilized Mr. Bid was at our own discretion to replace the dental office reception carpet, bathroom flooring, and paint. They were in and out with no issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend Mr. Bid, especially if working with Shannon, and will use their services in the future.

Mr Bid Services is definitely the place to go for any home related project. I had a the greatest experience with Mr Bid when I needed repair work done at my house after a water leak. They were the only people who responded to my call out of the many places I called. Not just that, the owner personally came and inspected what needed to be done. They treated me with respect like they do with EVERY customer, and understanding. The repair work was completed in such short period of time plus they did superb quality work. I will go to Mr Bid for future work (this I know for sure)! Highly..highly recommend this place!!

I gave them 5 stars even though my project had a problem. Why? Because when it comes to home improvements, its rare that projects go perfectly the first time. Its how a company handles it when that happens that counts. Will they stop returning your calls? Will they tell you there is nothing they can do? Will they treat you as an unimportant customer since youve already paid? Mr. Bid did not do that.Situation: When they installed the carpet on my stairs the installer failed to line the pattern up with the edge of the stairs on half of the staircase. He might not have noticed, or pulled too hard when stretching it...heck, it even took me an hour or two after they left to notice it. But once I did it was very obvious that it had to be fixed. I was nervous if/how they would handle my situation, especially since mine was a relatively small and inexpensive job to begin with. The lead installer (part owner) came to fix it and took all morning making it look near perfect.So even though my job did not go perfectly, and it took more days/hours than anticipated, I give them 5 stars for the job, their integrity and the respect I felt. I would definitely work with these guys again. Plus, their prices are great!

Mr. Bid came in and finished our basement when another contractor had left us without completing the job. Shannon came in and assessed the situation and finished the job and took care to make sure we were truly satisfied. We then hired them to replace our front door and repair the frame around the door, and replace the shutters, and repair the trim work above the windows. We had issues with the colors we choose and Shannon and her crew were patient and worked with us until we got everything just right. We would highly recommend Shannon and Mr. Bid to do any work on your home that you need to have done. We would definitely hire them again.

The person that met me to review my scope of work was very rude, condescending and lacked communication skills. Will not hire. I could not image working with this person or company on a project together. Best to recognize that now and call it what it is, than struggle through a major project together.

I was waited on as soon as I walked in the door. The associate was friendly and knowledgeable. She showed me samples and was on time for a next day measuring appointment.

Mr. Bid fully remodeled my Master bedroom bathroom back in 2016. As to be expected with any major remodeling projects we had some bumps along the way but Shannon made sure the job was completed and that my wife and I were happy with the results. In March 2018 we ran into a leak issue so I emailed Mr. Bid and Shannon responded by coming back to my house with the plumber to investigate. After some trouble shooting the leak was fixed with some simple tightening of loose piping on the shower head.Seriously consider hiring Mr. Bid for your home remodeling project. They will make sure to get the job done and address any issues that may arise later. Also, I was informed that they have a showroom now so you can go down to their location and see everything they have to offer.

Poor customer service. Acted like they were doing us a favor by working for us. A week tub and tile job took almost 4 weeks. Project manager unresponsive. I would give no stars if I could. Company did not come out to address install issues. Tub is currently leaking. Project was completely mismanaged. This post will remain up as long as they do not respond. If they repair, I will remove.

Me and my girlfriend just moved into a new house that the old Tennants let their animals use the carpet as their restroom, Jesse got us a great price on two rooms and set up install within less then a week, we thank you and your team for all you efforts and hospitality. Identical carpet and padding was way less than other quotes. Saved us over 700.00 and only waited a week for installation. Will definitely use them again.

Last year I posted regarding Mr. Bid and how they would not return my property after a job they performed went horribly wrong. I wanted to update how this business addressed my issues.After my post I immediately started receiving threatening texts from the owner, Randy Bid. The texts continued to the point I felt very harassed and made a complaint with the Keego Harbor police station. The officer I spoke with said he knew Mr. Bid well and would talk to him. Again, I agreed. I didn’t hear from Randy again.Shortly afterwards, however; I was sent a text from his wife stating that if I removed my post they would return my belongings. Simple! I agreed to this. Sadly it took calling them out publicly to get something done.Instead of this taking place, I received a waiver from Mr. Bid’s attorney stating that I release them from all wrongdoing and that the job they performed was roughly $40,000.Let’s be clear. Mr. Bid only demoed my basement, without approval from my insurance company, made matters worse and cost me a lot of money.I was then told by Mr. Bid that I would not get anything back unless I signed their waiver and they were not willing to make any changes.We are still at a stand still. I am still without my belongings; many which belonged to my recently deceased mother and my (living) children.This situation has been ongoing for several years now. My belongings are being held ransom. My belongings have set in a trailer, without heat or air conditioning for 2 years at least. I have no idea of the state they are in or what they even have. I’ve asked many times for a list of what they kept from my basement and what they threw away. I’ve received absolutely nothing. I was told the employee that handled my inventory quit and there was no record of what was thrown away.I simply want my belongings back.

I have worked with Mr. Bid on two projects for my condo in Northville. The first was a total tearout and replacement of my master bath and tearout and replacement of my second bathroom except for the shower. I love the final product and felt very comfortable with the contractors having the ability to come and go while I was at work. I especially likeed that they cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis. The second project was painting and replacing the flooring throughout my condo. I had refurbished woods floors put in the kitchen and other common living areas and carpet in the bedrooms. Again, I was very happy with the end product and found the crew friendly and contientious throughout the project. I happily recommend Mr Bid!

Same as the last review. Hired my company to do work at their customers business and their check bounced and did not pay after several attempts to collect. If you are a service contractor do not do work for this company unless you like chasing your money!
