Good products but poorly managed. I made an appt a week in advance. Promised in a few hours, it took 7 hrs to find out they didnt know how to install on my car brand- which I warned them about at the appt. A simple phone call could have solved this issue. The schedule is only a fake formality.I had to come back a few days later to get it done correctly. Then he said hed give me discount for my troubles, he handed me $20. Insutling, not even a 10% discount. Ill never go there again.

They did a great job on my daughters Jetta install. They checked all 3 boxes... Price, Quality and Delivery! Looking forward to RKST putting a new sound system in my own car.

Went in two months ago to get a quote on doing custom car audio install custom subwoofer enclosure and all new speakers 6k budget left name and number never heard back. Went in today and was told to call to get prices. I dont need prices just need someone who wants to actually do the work. So my guess is what I want done is way above their capabilities!

Love, love, love this place!! They’ve done some wiring for us before on our RZR (our stereo and chase lights) They always do an excellent job and are very reasonable on their pricing! But today they went above and beyond! We were getting ready to head up north and we’ve had some problems with the wiring for the lights on our trailer that we haul the RZR. Today they wouldn’t come on at all! Even though we weren’t sure this was the type of thing they would do we knew they were excellent at wiring so we figured what the heck we’ll give them a call. They told us to come in and they found the problem and fixed it right away!! We were on the road on time and so happy that we called them and got it taken care of!

I had a new receiver put in my vehicle and Dave quoted me an extremely reasonable price and was able to get me in a quick amount of time. The installation was quick and they did a excellent job and everything worked as it should. I recommend RKST to anyone looking to do any type of audio visual modifications to your vehicle!

Ive been coming to RKST for quite some time now. Their customer service is always superb. Ive had 2 way remote start/alarms installed here for multiple vehicles, a dash camera system and an HID Headlight/Fog lights installed here. After the install the tech will show you the basics and give you a rundown of what was installed and how it works which is very nice. One of the things I enjoy most is that RKST is also very swift at responding to messages via Facebook even if its just a quick question or quote. I would highly recommend RKST for all of your car electronic needs. They also do Marine Audio.

Techie store for those who loves the electronic side but safe for the one’s who has no clue but just know what they want, just explain it to them and they got you covered from my brief visits of observations. So both me and my wife got car starters, after seeing how hers was useful I ended up getting one later. Everything is on the up and up and if you do have an problem they will see what’s wrong. Only problem I had might have been from everyone probably trying to get starters due to winter. They might have been rushing a bit because my steering wheel wasn’t lined up with the ignition but they did fix it when I let them know. Then I noticed the same thing one day when my wife pulled up next to me outside but hers just snapped back together. Besides that no problems. I’d recommend them I’d just tell people go there when it’s not busy but it’s a good place.

It took about 45 min. to complete the job everything is working great

With a lot of audio shops that also sell remote start/alarm systems it can be tricky to tell who can install them well with a level of confidence (reviews are mostly car stereos).My Fiancee and I spoke with Dave, very friendly, knowledgeable, and respectable. We are going to be getting some Compustar installations done. Will update how everything goes after the installs, looking forward to it.Highly recommend this shop based on the interactions weve had so far. Pricing seems fair, especially with the level of wiring expertise these individuals have. There were no hidden fees, very straight forward on pricing. With a system that integrates and interacts with your vehicle you need to be able to trust the shop. I would have loved to tackle this install on my own (Im very detail oriented on modifications done to my vehicles), but with certain systems you require pro installers to keep any kind of warranty intact, let alone have access to some of the hardware/software required.Once I mentioned manual transmission to other shops they immediately shutdown the conversation without even hearing out what I was looking for...some were also PRO installers (based on the Compustar website).I definitely understand that some manual transmission vehicles can be hard to deal with, but at least hear me out yeah? Dave listened to my jabbering and was not only able to recommend what I was looking for, but was also understanding of the needs I was concerned with. He went over each system and key needs we were looking to obtain.After the initial purchase I decided to just max out my options, I called the next day to schedule the installations and asked if it would be any problem to upgrade some more options and pay the difference. Dave had no problems with that at all and we got everything scheduled up. A long term customer has been gained, and a reputable shop has been added to my list of recommendations to friends and family. Cant wait for install day!

Felt like I was at a flea market. Had an appointment to have system wired and they were overbooked. If they didnt have time to do it all they had to do with say so I had other options. The place I want up going to was amazing. Everything was being done inside. These guys were doing instals in the parking lot. I will not be going back for anything.

Great place to go if you need anything audio for your car. They upgraded my cars speakers and added a subwoofer. Everything looks factory but the sound is anything but.

This place knows their stuff! I walked in without an appointment and they still were able to do the nav radio install while I waited. Best place to go for mobile electronics. They have a great selection and they carry several different brands. The majority of it is actually stocked right there, rather than having to order what you need and wait for it to come in. Installers really know what theyre doing as well. Always clean installs and done to perfection. Wouldve given 5 stars if they were more flexible on their pricing. Most other retailers and car audio shops will work with you on that if you just ask, or even hesitate because of the price. They may offer to price match, Im not really sure... But either way I shouldnt have to research and know about a better deal somewhere else before theyll give it to me. The markup on car audio equipment and mobile electronics is very high compared to cost, so its not like they would be losing money. They pretty much sell everything at MSRP, which might as well be max price.

Great place and great service. A Christian owned company, they have a small section in their store with Christian books and visor clips with Bible verses on them. I highly recommend using these guys for your remote starter or stereo.

Amazing Service! They are actually ear openees! I knew my car had a good sound system but I felt that there was a rattle from the door subwoofer. Apparently the two door subwoofers were mounted incorrectly with bad speaker plate. The guys here took care of that in about an hour. Honestly, I got in the car and played some 🎶. This is the best my ears have ever heard!! They definitely know there stuff, and it was definitely worth the money... Would come back if I ever needed my speakers serviced!

Have driven past this business probably hundreds of time. Have watched the building morph to what it is now from a small building. Todays visit was only the second time I went inside. The first time they couldnt help me, as I recall. Today someone addressed me when I entered the door. I need to purchase some generic automotive speakers to replace OEM speakers which are no longer available. The counter person seemed knowledgeable and brought out a set of speakers from his back room stock which he said should work fine. He said they could be returned if they didnt work. I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes.

Got a new radio from here and they installed it for me. Very sweet guys, they showed me how to use it and set it up and were very helpful even after the sale. Would definitely recommend this place.

All I can say is wow, what an incredible staff and facility. These guys really know how important customer service is. Very knowledgeable, very honest, they really are good businessmen. I had vehicle diagnosed free of charge, then scheduled to have a ballast replaced and they made sure to tell me that it was not a necessary fix and didnt charge me for the extra time. The owner is a very nice person and their facility is very clean. I would highly recommend RKST to anyone and will be returning for all my after market accessories. Thank you for a wonderful experience and I only wish more companies valued customer service as much as they do.

Im very impressed with RKST. I was treated with great respect, and they did a fantastic job. The instillation looks very professional. It looks like it was meant to be there from the beginning. Not sure hope this place stays open. The hours suck, and the last time I was there I was the only customer. Im guessing they do internet sales? Idk. I was able to check out the radio I wanted to buy for a much lower price on Crutchfield which I ended up buying at Best buy of all places because of price matching. They were trying to upsell me on an expensive wrong wiring harness and modules I didnt need.

I took my truck in to get a 12 sub, an amp and a head unit installed. I made the appointment about a week prior and told them my budget. They stayed within my budget and were done about a half hour before they said they were going to be. The install is super clean and professional. The wiring and placement for everything is top notch. I am a bit OCD, and they answered all of my questions even though I am sure they were annoyed by the time they finished with me haha. I am going to be replacing my factory door speakers within a week or two and this is the only place I will go even though it is a half an hour drive and I have to wait for the work to be done...it is well worth it.

Only giving a star because 0 isnt an option. Not only did they somehow not run my card (but still gave me a receipt) when I purchased a radio, they connected it wrong. The DVD screen in the back didnt work, it played on the main front screen. Then when my husband RETURNS the radio they charged again? Never going to this place again.

I asked them for a wire harness for my 2008 impala and he told me that thats not what I need and told me I needed $100 part for a Bose system which I do not have so I called cartoons and they was happy to sell me the wire harness that I asked for
