Brad was a huge help with our purchase! Took all my phone calls and explained in depth warranties. Never once did we feel pressured to make a purchase and love the huge inventory and being able to go in any of the campers there. Just picked up a new Grand Design Imagine from Pontiac RV. Worked with Phil and he was very easy to work with. The PDI walkthrough was excellent; got some really good tips from the tech. This is our 3rd camper but 1st from Pontiac. So far, this has been the best experience by comparison .

Best purchasing experience I have had, hands down. We purchased our first travel trailer with the help of Joe Fuchs. He helped us determine what fit our needs, and was patient and informative from start to finish. The day we picked up our rig, Mike Pierce did our walk through. We have a large family and the kids were so excited. Mike made the walk through fun, and was very accommodating with our children. There were no hassles in financing and the folks in the accessory shop were great. Their professional staff set up our weight distribution hitch and made sure we were ready to go. I would highly recommend spending a few hours with the folks at Pontiac RV if you are in the market.

The salesman (Jeff) was quick to respond to my initial inquiry and was not only knowledgeable of the products but never did I feel any pressure. My Pontiac RV experience was Impressive and inspirational. Pontiac RV is a landmark indeed. At IL 23 and route 66, if youve driven the mother road, youve seen it. For my lifetime, its always been there. And, always been seen growing. Never stopped by until a couple weeks ago, on a whim. Now understand why its been there so long😏 Not AT ALL like a car dealership/company store etc. Completely customer driven. Bought an RV!! Glad it was this place! Integrity and honesty. Still owned by founder/founding family, all staff perceived to have a passion for raising the bar of excellence in this RV industry.

Had a problem that I thought was either my battery or jack. Had an 8 oclock appointment. Technician came out and politely introduced himself as Dan. Started right in on diagnosing the symptoms that I described. Within a few minutes confirmed that I had a bad battery and replaced it. Next he tested the jack and determined that it was bad as well and replaced it. I was in and out in an hour and very pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. Also, they have great coffee!!!!

Visited late this afternoon to start looking at a new travel trailer. It was great that it was indoors! Showroom is huge. There was literally no sales pressure, which is great to someone just starting to look around. Only reason not 5 stars is the units should be cleaned up a little better. Several we looked in had a fair amount of debris in them (mostly from the MFR, like sawdust).

Excellent after the sale service. Offered great trade in value, friendly employees. Will not go anywhere else for our rv needs.

This dealer has to be the best experience we have ever had with a large expense item, they went above and beyond I bought my own goose box hitch for trailer and they installed it for us. Phil was our salesman very professional took all but 15 minutes once we decided on the cougar, closing girl was also great never pushy! We high recommend this dealer.

We drove 5 hours from our home in Michigan, they beat our local dealers price on the same model by $2500.!!!No haggling, no hidden fees, most dealerships have prep and destination fees, not at Pontiac RV. the price they quote is the price you pay, minus taxes and plates.We made a comment to our salesperson (Zac) about our new unit’s table had a slight blemish,With out hesitation Zac, assured us Pontiac RV would ship a new table directly from the factory. I was a little nervous that would happen, after the sale promises can easily be forgotten once sale is completed. Pontiac RV was a dealership of their word, within two weeks of the sale, a brand new, flawless table arrived at our home. Very happy with complete transaction, would highly recommend and my next RV purchase will be at Pontiac RV.

I know that they are busy, heres the but part, we didnt feel like they gave us much attention. We went to buy, we were told the camper we wanted just sold. No one tried to show us anything else. Eventually that camper came back on the market (within a week ) they did not contact us that it was available. We bought a camper at Ricks RV in Joliet instead.

PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE: They absolutely took advantage of an elderly man. Sold him a 40k motor home, went into services to get it fixed twice, didn’t fix a thing. He had propane smell inside of the RV, no heat in the RV, Power half worked, smoke came from the breaker box, Kept blowing breakers, and the salesman said there is a 2 week return policy and now they are denying him that. We have to take them to court now. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY FROM PONTIAC RV

Drove 700 miles to buy an Fifth Wheel, Brad was my online salesman and confirmed (I have in writing by texts) the camper did not have a smell. It was used. I got all the way there an could barely walk inside for more than a minute for the cleaning smell was overwhelming. Well now 3 days later we are home and it still smells. Also, faucet was covered with electrical tape to hide fact it was very broken. We wondered why a table was on the floor out of place that was extra but found when we got home a hole in the floor. Also promised a sewer hose at end and only got a super cheap temporary hose. Was amazing how they were accommodating until you sign papers than they all disappear. Very bad experience. I regret my purchase with these people and now cant stand to go in my camper due to the smell. Very bad Business! He said Super Clean in his text.

Recently my husband and I purchased a 2019 Puma travel trailer from Pontiac RV. Our experience was exceptional from sales all the way to service. Joe our sales man went above and beyond to get us everything we asked for in our deal, he worked with Kevin in service to make sure that everything was done in the timely manner that we needed . Bob did our walk-through he explained things to us very well we felt very confident that if we were to have a problem in the future Bob would be able to take care of it . He seemed very honest and knowledgeable and cares about his work. Andrew installed our TVs and may have installed our washer and dryer in either case everything was done very well. When we were finished and ready to leave we had a problem with our lights Kevin and Andrew took the time to help us get them working when it would’ve been easier to say it’s not in the RV it’s in your truck. I only hope if we have future issues with the RV we receive the same service that we received on this day. The whole experience was pleasant and we appreciate their professionalism.

We received no help during our visit. When we asked if they had any toy haulers, the lady just told us they were outside in the back corner. We had to hunt for the only one that was on the lot. We did not feel welcomed at all or that we were worth time of any sales person sitting up front. I will never return to this place again.

But Mike in service was the standout, he really made the overall a great one! A friend of mine purchased a used camper from them and didn’t inform him of the rotting wood. 6 months after purchasing it was than noticed that the wood inside was rotting due to a panel that came off. Pontiac RV Overpriced a rotten wood camper. Wouldn’t recommend to nobody.

Just bought a used 2011 Sunseeker from them and they were amazingly GREAT!! They spent a couple hours with us showing us every button and explaining every system. They educated my husband on maintenance and upkeep. They also let us know we can call anytime we have questions. It was wonderful experience and we look forward to having lots of fun in our first RV!

While traveling from New Jersey thru Illinois, we had trouble with our hydraulic levelers. Even tho the service dept was booked they said to drive the motorhome over they would get to it around 330pm. We arrived there early right around lunchtime and was greeted by Mike Pierce. What a genuine man who got us checked out immediately and the service guys got us back on the road, quickly. They actually billed us nothing and wished us well on our way to Wyoming. Accolades to Mike Pierce for his compassion, understanding, and friendliness. We would recommend this RV service dept to everyone and make sure to ask for Mike!

Our salesman Jeff was great until after the sale, then it was as if he disappeared. We had a broken latch for the sliding closet door in the bedroom. Parts department was responsive but sent a generic latch that does not match the screw pattern or color of the original. Parts department also sent us touch-up paint for a gouge on the front cap after several calls. Paint is a two part epoxy that came with no mix ratio information. Sales numbers seem more important to Pontiac RV than repeat customers.

Seemed to have fixed everything! Will find out for sure when we camp next time!

This Organization is sales driven, not customer service oriented. Once you make the purchase, youre on your own to get service done even on a new RV. We purchased new R-Pod 6/5 never used and went back for 15 days due to refrigerator not working. Finally they changed it, used once over July 4th and stopped working again. Also had an entry door misaligned, burner issues, water tank leak, and got shocked after touching frame.
