Experience at Big Lots is dont buy furniture at this store, WHY? Because the furniture is a cheap replica of popular stores brand such as Ashley Stewart furniture. The furniture tears up within a year and the store warranty is worthless. A RIP off for you to spend extra money to buy more coverage for a warranty that doesnt last and a headache to get the item replaced. You get what you pay for so dont pay for any furniture items out of this stores location. Ive learned my lesson and wont be shopping there for cheap furniture anymore bargain nor sale items its not worth it.

Not too much to say about this place. Wide variety of stuff. Some priced very well, others it doesnt seem like it. They do honor their returns though and they seem to shoot pretty straight for the most part. Good sales! Yeah their sales can be great, and coupons too. I know if you put in a little effort you can get fantastic deals there.

Only a three star because of the service at the register. I visited there about 2 weeks ago. Buying my last few things for Christmas. I have shopped here before. I love the items they sell and the prices, but they really could do with better cashiers. 2 cashiers on the lines during a busy Christmas time rush.The cashier I had was a young girl but slow She rang up my stuff put it aside, then put each thing in the bag like it was all glass. Looking around at everything else but what she was doing. I had socks that didnt have a tag so she had to call the manager. The manager took at least 3 minutes getting to us. While waiting I suggested I stand aside and she could ring up another customer. By this time at least 6 more people added to the line. She said, no its ok. So we waited. Finally the manager comes and tells her the price. The transaction was only 12 items. Then I paid in cash. She proceeded to count the singles then came to the fives, she asked me how much money I gave her without finishing counting, put it in the drawer. Seriously? You are a cashier and you cannot count cash? I will probably shop here again because of the products but I will have to take a few deep breathes to check out and pay for my stuff.

Store is organized and very neat and clean however they dont have much inventory and gently have but I was looking for on a budget. The store has furniture and little goodies for the home such as small appliances rugs curtains lamps dishes are and even small Furniture food toys and decor

Everything was well organized except for one isle

Staff is helpful in finding whatever you are shopping for, and will assist you in anyway they can. Clean and orderly store.

The staff is very friendly. Plenty of items on hand. Prices for the things you need the most are a $1 to $2 cheaper than any other store. BigLots literally has the same items at Target, Meijer and Walmart. Also most items you find at CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid. At $0.50 to a $1.50 cheaper. If you Combined an item that has a coupon and start a new account that gives you 15% off your in-store or online purchase. Makes Big lots a an excellent place save money. Unfortunately the store was not well maintained. Not the staffs fault. They had a consistent line. Only 3 people work at the time with one person that was late. Honestly the staff was very nice to everyone that pass through the registers. Friendly staff is better then a keeped store. I hope everyone working at that BigLots gets a raise soon.

They offer a large variety of items for sale, but the majority of items are not priced.

I shopped at Big Lots today 8/17/20. It was clean, staff was courteous especially Shauntel who checked me out @ the register . She told me the importance of signing up for. Rewards cards & it was her first time doing it. She took her time which I didn’t mind & now I have a card.After leaving the store I didn’t realize that I had left my phone wallet with all my information (ID & credit cards ). She brought it out to the car to me. I will forever be grateful for her going out of her way to get it to me. Thanks Shauntel, we need more people like you serving the public .

Disorganized shelves kinda reminded me more of Dollar Tree than a mini Walmart. Staff is friendly enough.

Best toilet paper! Its not the cheap thin paper either. Cant beat it.. Get a case for $4.88. Great deals on other stuff too. You may not see the same thing twice but there are some things they carry regularly.

Enjoyed shopping here its a Big Lots in Pontiac. A lot to choose from a vast variety of different Goods household needs snacks and also nice little selection of beds and Furniture as well. The staff here is very kind always ask me if I needed help introduce themselves and made me feel extremely welcome to the store. I definitely will come visit the store again when in the area

Big Lots has improved the quality of goods so much in the past five years. Used to be a place to get a good price on cheap junk, but now there are a lot of name-brand foods and decent quality home goods. Not top of the line, but decent and affordable. Also a nice selection of international foods.

This is another place that I rate highly because each time I go there I am very pleased with the level of customer service I experience and/or witness. I also like the fact that they have a large variety of items that are very well priced making them an excellent value. I am very concerned about getting the most value for every dollar that I spend. This place helps me do that.

Sterling ice and warm welcoming staff at the Big Lots on Telegraph in Pontiac. Was just checking out some furniture and have some general shopping to do while I was in the area. This is one of their older stores. It could use some updates. The employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are average for this type of discount store. They have nice furniture as well as general merchandise. This store isnt conveniently located for me to be a regular shopper. And, its been a long time since I have been into this store.

This one on Elizabeth Lake Rd. is okay for sales, but they have a scarce amount of items. The one in Waterford off Dixie is really nice, looks a lot newer and they seem to have things I dont see at all Bit Lots.

As with any place you need to know your prices as some items here can be found less expensive elsewhere - decent selection of items and if you dont have personal transportation to go to other stores this location works out well for the community
