Delicious every time. Especially try their fancy donuts like the strawberry glaze with fresh strawberries (not always there but buy if you see it). Heavenly glaze is so good, perfect with a cup of coffee. Red velvet, iced coco, pumpkin, pazkis on Fat Tuesday... I see a lot of people buy the fritters. I try to go only once a week so I dont gain 100 pounds, but its a delicious treat. Plus its locally owned, support a small business baking donuts on site vs the chains. Last tip, go early, they close usually early afternoons like 1 or 2p.

I normally love Avon, but lately the quality doesnt seem the same. I ordered about $30 in product (which isnt difficult here) and honestly, if I didnt live 27 miles away I would have returned them. Some of my selections were obviously not fresh. Some crumbled upon picking them up. It was simply not good this time.

Friends and I did a little donut crawl recently with Avon being about our midpoint. When all was said and done, Avon was my favorite of the day. We stopped in shortly before closing time at 1 PM. Our selection was very limited because of the time of day, however what I had was still the best of the day. The selection of what had sold out looked very appealing so I will have to swing by earlier next time.

I finally found another solid place for donuts. Aside from their custard being solid, their apple and cherry fritters are delicious! Avoid the Dunkin Donuts around the area, and go here. Well made pastries, and the coffee is good and warm.

These donuts are so moist and light. We got coconut, nutty buddy, and french cruller. Wow! Theyre delicious! We cant determine a favorite. The cinnamon buns looked so good, but we didnt buy any. Do yourself a favor, and visit this place. They were rated in the top 10 of donut places in the U.S. and you can taste it! $14 per dozen, 6 for $8 or $1.35 each

Avon Donuts is a bakery shop that sells all different types of donuts. This was the first place I ever went to when I first arrived in Michigan to just have sweets at. Ever since I have been here in Michigan, there has been no other donut shop that tastes as good as Avon Donuts. The shop opens around 4 AM in the morning and closes at about 2pm in the afternoon. The best donuts obviously come out when they are fresh, which is why getting donuts in the morning is the best thing for you to do. If you get them while they have been out, they will still taste good, but not as awesome as they would have if they were fresh. I will put a disclaimer out there that if you are going there in the morning, be ready to hustle for what you want, because usually people go there before they go to work so they are in a hurry. Which means that if you do not move fast enough, you could get ran over. So be ready to order what you are going to order and move out fast and quick. Other than that, the food is worth it!

You havent had donuts until youve had Avon. Im glad I dont live closer, or this place would be dangerous! Their apple fritters are the best Ive ever had. Eating one in the morning while theyre still warm is a religious experience. They often have a nice selection of rotating novelty flavors like white chocolate raspberry, cotton candy crunch, and strawberry shortcake.Their Pączki are the best Ive ever had. Big and pillowy, with a nice amount of filling. They are jam packed on fat Tuesday, so order your Pączki ahead to make sure you get everything you want. Theyre pretty busy on normal days as well, so I recommend going early, because once theyre out of something theyre out, and they close for the day once everything is sold out.

Best quality made donuts in Metro Detroit hands down and a selection that cant be beat. There gourmet donuts are something else strawberry donut with real fruit and fruit juice in the icing and the maple bacon with thick strips of maple curried bacon are a absolute must.

I have been going to Avon donuts for years, and still same qaulity, taste, and friendly service. Still highly recommend Avon donuts.I especially like the giant apple fritter/ bear claw, is my favorite donut !!

I used to love Avon. I used to think this was the best donut shop and had the most friendliest employees. Today I walked in and walked right back out. The lady behind the counter had such a foul attitude. They claim that they open at 4am yet nothing was prepared. 3 gentlemen in front of me asked for glazed donuts, she then snapped at them about being too early. It was 5:17am. If the sign says 4am you should not get upset with customers for something that is posted on your building. I even overheard one of the men say that he had never been there before. I would like to add upon entering Avon, she was in the process of getting snippy with a customer who was only trying to place an order over the phone and ask questions. Its sad to say that after this experience, I will not be returning. Avon has officially lost me as a customer due to the poor customer service.

Avon Donuts Inc., is a hot spot, but you have to go early in the morning, you know be there a few minutes before they open the store otherwise all the fresh, just out of the oven donuts go quickly. Your arrival there has to be early otherwise you get the donuts no one else wants. Afternoon comes forget about it dont waste your time going. Not as fresh sometimes hard and stale and everything has been picked over you may not find the donuts you want or crave for.

The best donuts Ive ever had. Ill drive 30 min there and 30 min back to work for them. I used to get them for company meetings, there were never any leftover. The bowties are my favorite. And Im not even a huge donut fan. But these are an exception.

Oh my goodness! just the best donuts EVER! theyre so soft and fluffy and delicious.... my mouth is watering just thinking of em. And the service was wonderful. I asked for two dozen assorted and the lady didnt question or look puzzled. She knew exactly what to grab and put in the boxes. And it was so reasonably priced. Absolutely wonderful donuts and everyone at my work really loved them too! my favorite are the donut hole flower looking ones. I dont know what theyre called but they look like a donut hole flower or mound and you just peel the holes off of it. So good..... so damn delicious!

Best donuts I’ve ever had, by far. Lucky for me, they’re close to work, but not my house, otherwise I’d eat these every day. Everyone at my job is obsessed with them as well. The chocolate with peanut butter frosting is great if you want something super sweet. For a little less so, try the glazed cherry.
