Came in with my 16-yr-old for a light bulb for his first car. David jumped up to show us right where it was. When we bought wiper blades but couldnt get them on (car is 17 years old), it was David to rescue again! Thank you David for going above and beyond to help a single mom with no automotive expertise. My brother-in-law needed a new battery but according to them, “it was too dark to do the work” and they refused. It was about 6:45 and it was getting dark but not not completely dark. In addition, the sidewalk lights provided plenty of light. I could see well enough to attach jumper cables since they wouldn’t help us. Meanwhile, my brother-in-law called O’Reillys right down the road and they told us to come on and they’d care of it. I guess it more light 2 minutes down the road.

The online app sucks I like getting my parts at advance but I really wish they would get their app to work properly. When it works its great no wait just go pick up your order saves you alot of time if its working.

The work was done. I brought a new battery. Requested my old one and the service man said I would have to pay $22.00which I didnt dispute, but his attitude and tone of voice was very disrespectful and I called him on it. He claimed he didnt know way I said that to him,a male white man came in the store and he spoke harshly to him and the man jumped back startled at this man tone of voice. Then I asked him quietly if he would speak to his wife the way he was talking to me and rushed by me without saying excuse me. He apologized and I accepted, but I will never go to your store again. Your other staffs were very respectful.

I was just in the pooler Advance when Ernie (Manager) refused to help a guy install his wipers because it was dark and raining outside. 1st it had stopped raining it was dark but the guys van was parked close to the front of the store and he could see what he was doing, just didnt know how to do it. When I was leaving I asked if I could help him out. It took me one minute to install the wipers he thanked me along with his wife and two young kids and where on their way. I couldnt believe Ernie wouldnt help the guy. There was no excuse not too, use a flash light. Ill never set foot in the store again. Sad very sad when you wont help someone in need

I needed my battery replaced and the worker refused and claimed to be the only one there, when I could hear another worker in the back and even seen her at one point. Then as I was leaving she stepped out the front door for a smoke break. I guess good employees are hard to find. Highly recommend Oreillys!

The service in that store sucks! Ask about any specials and the the answer is I dont know you have to check the paper! Then theres people standing around talking instead of helping other people or they continuously on a break!

Around 8:00 am 3/24/2021Disgusting work ethic. I literally walked in the door, and I was the only customer. There was a female employee behind the counter that saw me approach, never said a word to me and walked to the back. I stood and waited for 5-10 min and could hear jaw jacking going on between two female employees in the back. I asked loudly if I could get some service and one said “no!” then they laughed together.Unreal. Never spending my money here again.

What kind of parts store requires payment prior to ordering parts, furthermore wont take payment over the phone...but its ok Autozone was right next door and they took care of my parts needs

I was very pleased with the assistance I received at your store. I purchased 3 windshield wipers and was pleasantly surprised when the young lady came out and installed them without being asked. She also researched and found what I needed to unstop my windshield washer ports. She was very curtious the whole time.

Josh is very helpful and knowledge about assisting me with my problem. All staff personnel greeted me every time I came through the doors. They would not allow me to pay a crazy price for one tool and located the item I needed. I definitely think that this is the best auto part store around!

Horrible service and staff! I went in to replace a battery that had warranty on it. The lady came outside hook her machine to my battery and told me it’s not my battery it’s my alternator. She then goes to give me a price of $400 for an alternator when I clearly came in for a new battery. I took my car to auto zone to get a second opinion they also said my battery. Took my car to my mechanic who also stated my battery. I went all day with a dead battery getting my car jumped here and there. I finally went to the Advance Auto in Garden City where Dennis assisted me and replaced my battery for me. Please hire new staff because the female in there doesn’t know what she is talking about. I hope no one else is ever given the run around like I was.

I visited the store on Thursday. JC helped me find a new headlight and even replaced it for me. It was a little difficult to do and he worked with it and finally got it. This is twice he’s helped me with an issue. He is very friendly and super helpful. You can tell he loves his job. I just wanted you to know that you have a great employee. Thank you!

Its hit or miss with the knowledge base of the employees. Parts stores are all becoming that way though. The store seems more or less centered around routine maintenance and aftermarket mods than with more detailed repairs and DIY upkeep of vehicles. Most times your better off asking for what you need than trying to find it yourself.

This covered 19 has got everyone leery of everyone else. Not a good feeling.

My car broke down in Pooler last Friday and AAA never showed up so my husband told me to go to this Advance Auto Parts. We needed a radiator hose but had nobody to put it on. This was 5:00. JC called a repair shop that was 6 driveways down the road and those wonderful people stayed and put our hose on for us. After the disappointment we had with AAA, this was a wonderful experience. So, 2 women driving alone from FL to TN had someone who really cared and helped us greatly. We will be forever in their debt.

What a great experience! The people who work here are so friendly and ready to help! I will be going here for everything from now on!

Management needs a review asap. This store is very poorly staffed with the rudest men(if you could call them that) that I have ever met. I was cat-called as soon as I walked in the door, and when I got to the register the manager on duty told me he loved his job because he always took home chicks numbers and if I didnt have my husband there he could probably get mine...My husband went back in later that night to speak to someone else, another manager, and that manager said we probably misunderstood.Funny? Sarcasm? Acceptable? Rude? Out of line? Should they still have their job?Do not waste your time... better yet, do not support a business in your community that has such low customer moral regard!What would you do if it was your wife, sister, daughter, someone you knew...

Im surprised at the bad reviews. Ive been in this store a few times in the last year and have always been pleased with the service and prices. Maybe I just got lucky.I especially like the fact that Advance (once you set up an account online and ask them) will send you email deals. I recently clicked, got a nice discount on a part for my old Honda, then breezed through and picked it up no sweat. I dont know what more the store could do to make me happy.

One of the employees here, who said her name was Kimberley Pandora, is extremely condescending and rude. I almost never give 1 star reviews, but that is all she earned in my 2 interactions with her.Id be happy to provide details if management would like more information.

Butch is the man to see at this location. Dont get me wrong all the employees there are great Butch is just the best there.

Staff act to busy to help, slow moving, inventory is lack luster and out dated. Pathetic service every time I go in. Ive preferred advance over OReilly and auto zone for ages, and have dealt with their poor service for ever, but that ends tonight after the final straw- buying a pack of armorall wipes- turns into a nearly thirty minute ordeal. Two people working, one just blindly wandering around the store while the other lacks enough sense to ask for any help. Im done with advance auto.
