They really need some competition. I finally went in there after not going there for over a year I think.The knowledge and service is just not good at all.And get this, theyre not accepting phone calls at that location. And who you do talk to if you call, may or may not mislead you.--Electronically through ignorance--or just flat out lie to you.If they had another electronic store close by they would feel the need to train there employees a little better.I was helped out after waiting forever by a lady who did give me a good deal on a demo item but I didnt get everything and part of the device, that Im guessing was not set out with the demo wasnt working.Try calling them to see what can be done. How does a business not take calls. So Im packing it all up and returning it, Ive already ordered it From Amazon.

Ryan from mobile was so so helpful when I was looking for a phone. He worked with his limited stock but was genuinely trying to help my situation. My phone broke but nothing is in stock anywhere. Although, ultimately, I left without a phone, it was not due to Ryan or Best Buy. I understand theres shortages all over the place and Ryan really tried.I was a former Geek Squad employee (not at this location) and Ryan hit all the points to make the sale. There was no receipt or ticket to respond to a survey, so I wanted to at least give his deserved praise here. Sorry it wont help your NPS though!!

There arent enough employees on the floor to help customers. I waited 15 mins for somebody to help me with a tv. The good news is that the employees who helped me were extremely nice and helpful. Even though help isnt always available right away I would still recommend this place.

The staff were really informative and super friendly the only problem is they build up the item then it be out of stock. Then I found an open box item I wanted and as we were getting it out of the locked glass doors it sold online. which I feel like is probably such a rare occurrenc, theyd maybe do something other then say oh dang it just sold online

Poor customer service. Walked in and was looking up and down the phone isles trying to find a charger, not one employee asked if I needed help. (3 were standing around and even looked at us. One of which walked right past us to help another customer). I finally found one (for an android, small section behind all the iPhone accessories) and went on to look for a computer monitor. After searching and standing in the same area for well over 10 minutes trying to figure what the price was on the monitors (thanks to the website) I finally found the one I was looking for, at the top in the overflow area. Since noone bothered to help, my husband had to use the stairs to get it down. There were not that many customers in the store and so many employees just standing around talking with each other. At check out, the lady spoke so quietly I could hardly hear her. I have bad hearing as it is and tend to read lips to know what people are saying, masks dont help. But when I asked her to repeat herself numerous times so I could hear what she was saying, she barely spoke louder and seemed annoyed to even have to be working.

Still a limited selection of certain items as products are on the slow boat from across the pond. If you understand that going in, your experience will be a great one. Everyone was willing to help and answer any questions I had. I walked out with a better product at an even lower price than I had originally went in for. And the doors are back open. No more standing out front and trying to order from online.

I went in for a screen protector for my wifes iPad. As soon as I entered the door there were two associates to direct me to what I was looking for. One pointed the area of interest out and the other walked me the area and gave advice the selection of diversity products with recommendations from personal experience with the products. I was in and out with 10 to 12 minutes. Awesome customer service best buy.

I have highly enjoyed this Best Buy which is only 3 miles further than the one in Beaumont. This one is the better Best Buy. The Port Arthur Best Buy has a better selection, a higher end selection, and superior customer service. Im not certain, but it might be a little bigger too. I love how it has a Samsung store and Apple Store in the same building.. along with Verizon, Sprint, ATT, etc.

Not happy with Bestbuy. You buy products and pay for a protection plan only to be told you need to contact the manufacturer. Everyone tries to find every reason not to fix issues. Why offer a protection plan if you refer everything to the manufacturer? The product already comes with a manufacturer warranty. Giving away your money for no reason.

My boyfriend ordered a phone for me on the 16th and it was promised to arrive at my house the 24th. It’s now the 31st and when we went to just cancel it and get our money back they said we can’t because the phone was coming to our house, but usps said it never shipped. Needless to say I really enjoyed not getting a gift for Christmas, thanks a lot. I don’t recommend getting anything shipped from here. Not reliable at all, and absolutely useless in trying to help. They just told us we had to call usps and that’s it. Like we bought the phone through Best Buy not them, bestbuy needs to fix it.

I recently purchased a nintendo switch Fortnite wildcat bundle online for store pickup at The Port Arthur Texas Bestbuy when i go to pick up the item it was given away by the store manager to another person without ID verification or confirmation codes or anything having been asked for. So my son will now be without the one Christmas present he wanted because the store manager of all people didnt follow proper protocol and just gave my console away to someone who just wandered into the store. And the item could not be replaced according to the inept manager. Thanks for nothing and a ruined christmas

Most every associate was huddled in groups of 3 on their cell phone. The guy that was supposed to be greeting you was so involved in a U-tube that customers was coming in not wearing a mask. Had to stand in the middle and holler to get someone to wait on us.

Even the smallest purchase can feel like a struggle. If you need any type of assistance, be prepared to wait awhile. It is also worth noting that they only tend to have one register open at any given time. Dont plan on a purchase if you are in a hurry and never feel that you can run in and out during your lunch break.

Placed an order on December 15 on Lorex security hard wired security cameras. The installer (Will) was scheduled 3 different dates to install. He showed up late the first time he showed up and said he didn’t have enough wire and would have to come back and we would be charged for extra wire. He had my husband drill holes for him so when he came back it would make installation easier for him..... he never showed back up. I called the store and was hung up on a couple of times and the last lady that I spoke with was extremely ugly on the phone to both me and my husband. Will was supposed to show up three different times and didn’t show up for any of the scheduled appointments. We paid over $1,147.43 on Dec15 and today is January 4 and still no cameras just a bunch of excuses. I do not recommend Best Buy for any installations. I am extremely disappointed instead of an apology we were treated horribly.

They were paid to perform a service in a timely manner in which they did NOT. When i asjed why it toook so long Geek Squad replied by saying that theyve called several times to inform me that it was going to require a recovery CD which in the end they didnt even need. Basicslly in the end they didnt take any responsibility for any of the mistakes made, then tried to blame it on me by saying they made repeated attempts to call me and that they had left messages. Im going to speak with the manager again just to let him know that it is not ok with customers to conduct bussiness like this. If youve read third far and youre wondering why I didnt call sooner to inquire myself regarding the status of the computer well, if youre a single parent that works over an average of 50 hours a week, then im sure you understand that its easy to drop the ball on things like this. But it still doesnt change the fact that these guys at Geek Squad need to change the way they conduct their bussiness.

Every employee asked if we needed assistance when walking through the store.Associates across all departments were helpful and knowledgeable, especially the Apple computer (Marilyn) and Geek Squad (Wesley and Jesus).Geek Squad asked the right questions to get the computer up and going. GS communicated by phone when necessary to get clarifying info and delivered the item one day early.Ive been in many Best Buys in my days and this is by far the best one!

I rated this a poor visit because of the customer service received from Geek Squad. I received an email from Geek Squad stating my tablet was ready for pick up. I walked to the desk and there was this Caucasian lady waiting to be serviced and a Caucasian man being serviced. Within 5 minutes the geek squad agent greets the Caucasian lady asking how can I help you. He then began to help her with her device while still working on the device he was already working on. I sat there and waited, so 20 minutes goes by and he has yet to ask me what I’m there for. I’m waiting and being patient thinking he’s multitasking, and when he’s finished I will be next. He finished servicing the lady and continued to service the gentlemen device that was there initially. 10 more minutes goes by and another Caucasian young lady walks up. So at this point you have me, an African American female, a you g Caucasian female, and one Caucasian male. The geek squad agent that’s multi tasking looks straight past me and asks the young lady that just walked up how can I help you. Remind you I’ve waited patiently and not a soul has asked or even acknowledged that I was there waiting to be serviced. I’m not that person that gets ignorant and glorify myself with “I was here first”, so I say a quick prayer. Meanwhile the geek squad agent goes to the back to get another agent to help this young lady that came after me, still never acknowledging I was there and have been waiting. The more I wait the thought of the reason for this type of customer service becomes heavier “is this because my skin is darker that I didn’t receive any service?” 🤔 This description of the type of service I received is not to accuse or label anyone but the service I received was partial and awful. On top of all that when they finally decided to ask me what I needed I find out my tablet is no where near ready it’s not even at the store.🤨😭

Always friendly and they have a decent stock. They have a little bit of everything, but not a lot of some things. I was shopping for a smartwatch and ended up having to go to the larger store in Beaumont to look at the better selection. I still gave this store five stars because the one I ended up buying was available in Port Arthur anyway. So I think they concentrate on the items that are most popular.
