Bilge pump stated to get noisy in March. I had had the boat 5 years, so I figured it was probably a good time to change it with my annual service in April. I have been out in the boat twice since. I noticed very little water coming out, so I took a look in to see the sump full of water. It looked like someone didnt put the fuse high enough on the harness away from the water. It was fried and the pump broken. Ingmans response was to tell me the new pump was put in 6 months ago. So the problem is mine. Very poor.

I just bought my first boat (Sea Hunt 275 Ultra) from Scott Ritter at Ingman Marine in Port Charlotte, FL. I first met Scott at a boat show. I don’t know much about boats, but Scott was both extremely patient in answering my questions and extremely knowledgeable about a variety of boat makes, types and sizes. He ultimately helped me find exactly the right boat for what my family wanted. He was very responsive by phone, text or in-person visits. He even took us out in the water to test the type of boat we wanted. It took a few months to get our boat delivered (just received today 2/28/21) but Scott kept us informed about the boat a couple of times a month. While waiting for the boat Scott lined us up with Rachel Dion who put the beautiful logo on our boat last week and with Affordable Canvas who made us a console canopy to match our boat. Scott also worked closely with the great service team at Ingman to make sure that the boat was delivered on the day it was promised. This morning we spent over an hour on the water with Captain JR who took us through all the systems, etc. I could not be happier with the boat and the customer service provided by Scott Ritter and the Ingman team. The service department really went above and beyond to get me back on the water. Other service departments said the parts needed were a few months out on back order. Aaron at the Placida location not only checked the other Ingman locations, he called me back after finding the part down in Miami and had it overnighted. In and out in a few days, not a few months. Invoice was a few hundred dollars below other quotes. Hands down the best service I’ve received in 25 years of owning a boat. Thanks Aaron and Mike Brimer!

There were a few minor interior issues with cleanliness... which was probably from the boat being stored outside during inclement weather. We had a few things done last week on our boat and now when you turn on the bilge pump the windshield wipers try to come on and snaps the breakers, so thats how my visit was at ingman . Of course they asked if it was like that before, obvious it was not. Don’t really want to go back, not sure what to do,any advice?So just have a update on my boat and I dont recamened there service department or parts.Seams that they dont even know what parts they put on your boat just after they put them on.My experience with inghams is to keep looking for a place to get your boat fixed or learn how to do it your self

He was great to work with through the sale process and keep us informed on all the Covid delivery issues that Cobia had to deal with. Had a great experience this year buying a preowned boat on consignment from Chris Parro. Ingman has a terrific policy that ensures that both the buyer and the seller of consignment boats are satisfied. It is the reason why preowned boats move so fast off the Ingman lots. Understand, you are buying a used boat and there are no warrantees but before you close the deal Ingman will go over the boat for you with a checklist looking for any critical issues and will provide a diagnostic report on the hours used on the motor. I wanted a bay boat but within days of a nice bay boat coming on the market I would call Chris to be disappointed to find that there was already a buyer. However, Chris was great and worked with me and told me about a classic 2007 Pathfinder 2000v the same day it came on the market at the Placida location. I then worked out the purchase with Chris and John Ferrara of Ingman and the service department at Placida and got the boat I wanted. Can’t say enough good things about the people at Ingman!

We recently purchased a boat from Ingman Marine in Port Charlotte. Our salesman was Scott Ritter and the sea trial was with J.R. Pittman.Scott Ritter was a wealth of information. In February2020 I took delivery of a new Gamefish 30 Sea Hunt boat that I waited on for three months. First Orion was my salesman and he was excellent to work with making me a fair price for the boat and keeping me informed via phone and with pictures as the boat was being built at the factory. After I took delivery of the boat, it was discovered that the right front bow rail had been assembled in the jig wrong and would have to be replaced. This required four holes being drilled in a new boat to remove the bow rail and then fiberglass the holes back. Needless to say I was not happy about this, but Lane in service worked closely with Sea Hunt to make the repairs. After getting the boat back from repairs, it was discovered the sink was leaking and would not drain overboard. Again Lane let me vent my frustrations with Sea Hunt and Lane kept his cool with my complaining and worked to get the issue fixed quickly. I am now on the water enjoying the boat and appreciate the work Lane did to make me happy. Sea Hunt also kept me in the loop on the repairs and expressed their concerns that the boat was able to leave the factory like that. Karen at the Sea Hunt plant worked closely to resolve the issues. Sea Hunt sent me a Yeti cooler for the boat because of the QC issues that were discovered on the boat. These issues were not Ingman Marines fault and I appreciate all the work they did to correct those issues for me.

The Sales Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. We purchased a 22 ft Bennington Pontoon set up for fishing. They added a 23 gallon live well, power pole, and trolling motor. A great fish and swim platform. We were ready to buy and told we had to drive to boat first to ensure satisfaction. From Fred on the Sea Trial to JR the Product Delivery guy. They were great. Showed us all the ins and outs of the boat. As novice boaters this was extremely helpful. We would highly recommend Ingman Marine to anyone.

The parts department is a joke. Incredibly disorganized and they will quote you the wrong parts even if you provide Yamaha Model and Serial number. Buy somewhere else.

The GM of the Cape Coral store really did us right finding a used boat that meets our needs and wants. He was open and communicated very well thru the process. I really appreciate the help Ingman’s service people in Port Charlotte - Lane and KG and Dalton - and Yamaha in helping me fix my relatively new Yamaha outboard.This motor for my dinghy is less than a year old and rarely used; it died after about 5 minutes in my waterway in front of my home. I opened the gas tank to check the gas level and plop, the gas cap’s safety mechanism malfunctioned and the gas cap went right into the deep water.I tried to crank the motor but no luck.I drove it straight away to Ingman’s and they, along with Yamaha’s grace, replaced my gas cap and fixed my motor immediately.The motor had water in its carburetor for some unknown reason.Thank you Ingman’s and Yamaha!!Joseph Middleton

I repowered my 23’ center console with Yamaha 250XB at Ingman thinking it was reputable location. Everything think went fine until I put in the water and was only getting 4500 rpm so I took it a my local marine service mechanic when my 20 hour service was due and they ask me why the motor was installed so low which was two holes below manufacture mounted location. I called ingman and told them that was my rpm problem and they said it was fine it’s not the problem and they would not move it at there cost. I paid my mechanic $300 to move motor up 2 holes and gained 400rpm and then had to reprop because Ingman used my old prop which my new motor had a different gear ratio and was not matched properly. I went to 17 pitch from a 21 which is recommended by Yamaha prop selector website and gained 500 rpm more. Now I’m at approximately 5400 rpm .Why am I having to do this after spending $22,000 ... No help from Ingman after check Cleared... Don’t Recommend

The experience was great Orion was the salesman, he has done everything he can to make sure I am happy, they delivered my boat to the launch I asked, he call later that day to make sure everything was good. I told him some of my concerns and he was quick to say he would help.

Incredible service department! Lane is the man! We took our boat to other reputable places to find an issue we were having with an alarm. Finally brought it to Ingman Marine in Port Charlotte so one of their Yamaha master techs (Art) could take a look at it. Lane in the service department was incredibly helpful!! They found the problem essentially right away and we had the work done there needed. We were so pleased with the service that we havent brought our boat anywhere else since then and we make the drive to Port Charlotte from Cape Coral specifically so we can do business with Lane and the amazing marine mechanics they have at that location. They are extremely fair with their pricing, and Lane keeps you informed how progress is going, and is very quick to respond to a call or question, seriously above and beyond!

I bought a new Sea Hunt Gamefish 27 from Ingman Marine’s N Ft Myers dealership about 1 month ago.Last Friday I had a warranty issue, and they immediately responded with phone calls and advice regarding the boat.Within a business day, they called and coordinated a service appointment. The service manager showed up at my house with parts, tools, and knowledge and within 1/2 hour, the issue was resolved. From the sale, through my first service, and now a warranty issue, this dealer is TOP SHELF. They actually share their cell phone numbers and field calls ....wHile I was still on the water. Ingman Marine and Sea Hunt Boats continue to exceed my expectations.AAAA++++

We purchased a 2017 Bennington Pontoon from Orion Wholean. Orion was awesome, not pushy and very accommodating about every aspect of process. Walked us through the various options as well. We did experience some challenges with the service department, but Orion stepped up and made a house call to replace a battery switch (took him 20 minutes at most). This would have been another 2 weeks out of the water. Thanks Orion, you are the best!!!!

I recently custom ordered a new Bennington Tritoon from Oryan at Ingman Marine in Port Charlotte. I just received my boat and could not be happier . The ordering process was easy and the pricing was more than fair. They were very knowledgeable about the product, and honest about what features I needed. They did not to try to up-sell me and drive the price up. It was a very laid back process, with no pressure. I would highly recommend them for their honesty and integrity Everything they said they would do, they did ! All on a professional level. Salesmen did not speak to me for about 30 mins; however, they did greet someone else fairly soon. Finally a salesman came out of his office, spoke to me but frankly his knowledge was very limited.

Recently took delivery of a Cobia 220. My salesman at the Port Charlotte location, Scott Ritter, was awesome. He continuously kept in touch with me during the process of choosing a boat, financing and delivery of the boat with calls, texts and emails. I was in the market for a pontoon but not living in Florida yet. I called Ingman and the salesman Scott Ritter took over, he got all the paperwork and the boat set up and ready for me when I arrived over a month later! What a great experience and a really nice Bennington toon with a 115 HP Yamaha to drive me around the river and inter coastal. I will go back to ingman for anything I need!

Decent place to buy a boat, sales team is nice

I was having problems with a little 5 HP Yamaha. Ingman diagnosed the problem quickly as the kill switch and made the repair at a reasonable rate. Got the kids back on the water fast. Thanks.
