Excellent place for parts. Have a honda push mower and needed a circlip for the rear wheels. Called them up and asked if they carried the part I needed. While on the phone, the nicest lady(wish I could remember her name!)told me the Honda parts locator had crashed. She asked for my name and number and told me she would get back to me ASAP. Within 15 minutes she called me back and confirmed that they did have the part! Top notch customer service, which is a lost art nowadays. Have not needed to purchase equipment, but they seem to be a well stocked, all needs shop. Highly, highly recommend!! EXCELLENT!

This place reminds me of that gas station that wont let you use the bathroom unless you buy a pack of gum.... Tried calling to get a part number of a part I was going to try and do myself but anything I couldnt they were going to be my go to place since they are pretty close but they obviously dont want my business being completely rude as hell on the phone. Removed the mulcher from my tractor + saw black blades.The new blades mulching blades that were put on by my step son were yellow . I asked for them to be put on right as when mowing I had a row of grass in the middle. Dont know what happened here .we have used them before never had a issue.,,

I was very pleased at there time and service one employee even went out of his way to help me with a problem I caused due to lack of knowledge and gave my son a penny with a cross cut out of the middle. My son said hell keep it forever.

After reconsidaration I have decided to give them 4 stars. I was initially quite upset with not having the mower back and because I was not called with an update after a week went by. However, they did receive the wrong parts which caused the delay and apologize for not calling. I guess everyone can have a bad day.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. They only repair or replace what needs to be done. Very Honest and knowledgeable. They have worked on every mower, weed eater and generator that I have owned. No over charging, they treat you with respect. I would give 10 Stars if I could!!

This shop is terrific. They have repaired my. Murray riding mower several times with excellent results. More recently they repaired my walk behind edger and it is performing like new. They really go above and beyond with their service and the repair bills are very reasonable.

They have the best owners and employees and they are always on top of thing.

Went shopping in the Port Charlotte area for a new zero turn and Broken Blade had the best price in town. Both Marvin and Kimberly spent over two hours helping me find the right mower that fit me the best as I am six foot two (and fit my budget also). Marvin delivered my mower and set it up perfectly, I am looking forward to a long friendship with the Broken Blade Mower Shop.

This is my go to place. Mower broke down had 5 jobs left for the day took it up to broken blades and it was fixed within 20 minutes.

Fair and honest did exactly what they said. Intial time estimate was 2.5 weeks unless a named storm was headed our way, got my generator back in 9 days because of Laura. Would definitely use them again if needed and recommend them to my friends

Doesn’t warranty their repairs. The first trip nor the second trip was treated as a warranty as both trips combined was a little under $600.00 in cash. You stated as if the weld repair was free or warranty but it was not free or warranty nor did we request it to be. We paid you for it in cash. The clip issue should be warranty work you performed on the deck on both cash paid repairs. This mower has never been treated as anything other than a residential mower and shame on you for accusing me of such. You asked me to take down this negative review for you to come out and warranty your work this morning. If you came to do this as you told my Mom yesterday that you were going to do, this post would have been taken down. In closing, you hung up on Mom yesterday and this negative review was the reason for a response from you yesterday. You wanted it taken down. Now this morning you called and told Mom you would not come out to warranty the mower repairs. We will have the clip and deck fixed and documented by another company. The clip you used was too large and one found on the ground looked as if it had never been installed at all.

Broken Blades is just the place I was searching for when my push mower stopped functioning. Keep in mind that the busiest time is in the middle of summer as grass grows by the hour. I had a little wait time. But that being said they were upfront with their estimated time frame to look and diagnose my machine, they delivered precisely on what they said. Broken blades have saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing my Toro as other alternative would be having to buy a brand new one. Now, for what every potential customer is waiting for on a review, THEY ARE HONEST AND super fair. The repair for my machine which included fresh sharpening of blades was incredibly, way under what I thought I would, or should be paying. Truly, not expensive at all and quality service. Folks, straight up, Broken Blades is Charlotte Countys best Mower repair service in my opinion. I will do business with them 100% again. Very nice guy (sorry I dont know his name) took the mower out of the car, looked it over and quickly discovered a button that needs to be pushed to get it working. Helped me get it back in the car, we shook hands and parted ways. So good to know that businesses that operate like this still exist. Thank you Broken Blades. Youre the tops!

This business and the people running it are awesome ! I was replacing the infamously leak-prone head gasket on my Briggs and Stratton engine when, while torquing the head bolts, I got a little careless and broke off one of the bolts. Major PITA, needless to say. I managed to extract the broken bolt and then headed over to Broken Blade to get another head bolt. They didn’t have one is stock, checked all the other dealers in the area and none of them had one either. Since it was a Friday I wouldn’t be able to get another until at least Tuesday. But thankfully, one of the guys at the shop said he’d take a head bolt off one of the engines they had lying around (free of charge btw) so I could get my mower back running again. 3 hours later I had everything back together and was mowing the lawn. Thank you Broken Blade for going above and beyond to help me !

I have tried many mower repair shops in the North Port/ Port Charlotte area. I can say this is the best place to have your mower repaired. They are honest, efficient and communicate well. I had my mower picked up on 12/12/17 fixed and dropped off on 12/14/17. The price was very fair for pick/ delivery and repair. I would recommend this shop to my friends.

I will no longer go anywhere else for my lawn equipment repairs. Broken Blade has yet to let me down in the two years I have been going there. They go far and beyond to take care of my repair needs and finding parts for me. Very professional, very reasonable and best of all a great group of people. Try them out you will not regret it.

Avoid this place like the plague. Every single time I spoke or dealt with them they either lied or blew me off. I used them to service my Genera Generator. I was told it would be 40 dollar for pick up and delivery and was told under no circumstance it would be more than 40 bucks since the generator was 6 days old and under warranty. They never called before they picked it up like they said they would. After 5 days of them having my generator and getting no response, I called them and was told that they never even started working on it. I was told I would get a call back which I never did. After 6 days I was finally told that the generator was fine and it is likely my transfer box - that is fine. This was a Wednesday and I was told it would be delivered Thursday. I took the day off from work to wait - no one ever showed up. I called and told it would be delivered Tuesday - took the day off from work and they never showed up. I called and was told no one should have told you Tuesday since the guy who does the pick-up and delivered was not in that day. Finally I was told I would be getting it delivered thursday but not after they charged me 82 bucks! Come today I was called at 9:56 am and was told the delivery guy just finished loading the trailer and you are his first stop after over 2 hours of waiting, I called their store and was told that the delivery guy was held up at his first delivery. When I told the lady you told me I was the first delivery she just made some story up and got angry with me. I understand not everything goes perfectly but I was lied to and ignored every time I spoke to them. I just paid the 82 dollars - 42 dollars more than I was promised it would be - and will never ever use them again. I will also tell my friends and neighbors of my experience which I never do but it was that bad. Avoid this place - there are plenty of other places to go to.

Small issue on ordering a part no-fault on theres overall always a good experience

Dropped my mower off to have new tires put on because of age and dry rotting and to have them look at my pro and . They said theyd get back to me as soon as they could after theyd looks over the machine to determine the problems and to get my ok for the repairs. Well after 3 weeks of no word from them Id decided to go pick my mower up. After arriving theyd told me that my mower was top priority for Monday morning. So I left it there hoping the gentlemans word was good. I went to pick up my mower before Irma hit the gentleman moved some other units out from infront of my mower I noticed my front left tire was almost completely flat . Then as I sat on my mower my seat about fell out from under me . Something had broken from the seat . Being that the mower is older I looked under the seat and noticed the pan of the seat was rusted out . I know this didnt simply happen from the mower only being there for a month. But Id never had a problem with the seat before . Overall Im happy to have two new tires on the back of my mower . As far as turnaround time on units very unpredictable maybe I was an oddball unit or thats just the way they do business . They do offer pickup of units within 10 miles of their business which is very Convenient.
