Warning!!! Do not put your things here!!! Full of cockroaches!!!! Had to throw everything I had out!!! 💔💔 DEVASTATED!!! 😢 people in office always nice though

I moved several boxes of general household items into Metro Storage while I was waiting to close on my home in Port Charlotte. Less than 2 weeks after renting a space I went to remove my items and there were cockroaches. Medium and small. I tried to shake the boxes to get them out but ultimately they ended up in my new home. I took several pics a videos. The manager said if there is any damage to contact the company????? Damage.....I most likely have roaches. I thought I had kept them all outside but when I lifted a bowl that was set inside another bowl there was 1 medium and several small brown bugs. So grossed out. They are expensive compared to other storage places too. DO NOT RENT THERE.

Still waiting for a call back. They were prompt before. Still over an hour and no response. Left disappointed. Not as disappointed now. Chris called this morning. He was very pleasant and concerned about what happened yesterday. He said to call a different number after hours to reach someone promptly.

Chris was so nice and helpful. All the areas were clean and tidy . Plenty of carts to help us move things in and out with great ease.

The storage facility is older but is not in bad shape. It could use improvements though. Upon first inspection, I found the security and some safety features out of date. I rated this facility a 4 star for that very reason. Ultimately, they need updated cameras and better coverage of the cameras. Also I noticed that they have placements for safety mirrors that are either broken or missing. This could be a hazard as some of the corners you have to drive around really need the mirrors in good working order. That is all the critique I can mention at this time. The positives are the units are clean and my particular unit is climate controlled which they are on top of. I would recommend this facility for sure!To recap, the security cameras need updating with more coverage and the mirrors placed at dangerous corners need replacing. Other than that, this is a top notch facility.

Fantastic customer service and very clean units. Reserved a unit. Went and previewed it noticed i couldnt fit all my stuff in that one asked if they had the next size up. They found one and got me in.

This is the second time Ive used this place, and I came back because of my great experience before. It is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Angie and Chris genuinely seem to want tenants to have a good experience.

This storage facility is clean the price is a bit higher than I would have anticipated. But the units are clean the only thing I would have had a problem with is that this place has no trash cans or dumpster anywhere on the grounds that I could locate. I’m thinking the reason for this is that people who store things are moving normally and are either waiting to get in a place or they are downsizing into something smaller. And many will find that throwing away things so you can manage to squeeze everything in your unit is probably the better way to go than to keep what was or should have been trashed by ya awhile ago. Otherwise I would recommend this place to everyone who needs extra space to store or even a workshop. They also have security cameras and are in working conditions.

For as many storage facilities that are around you would think they would be more affordable. For the size you get, and the heat in the units depending on whats inside the unit its a rip off. All of them are. But you have to put your things somewhere 😤

I traveled 2 hours to get to this location and nobody was here during business hours. I tried to reach out to the management but good luck. I am very disappointed.

Only had my shed for 3 weeks from day 1 ants in my shed.... if you like to have ants & roaches get in your things this is the place . Over priced & they make you get there insurance
