A few months ago I had some videos of my children converted from tape(yes! I still had tape!) to disc for a Christmas present. Something went wrong with the disc so I called this morning and was greeted with a friendly and concerned manner and told to bring them right back and if need be, they will be remade!!!!!Fantastic customer service and I feel 100% confident that all will be perfect and my memories safe and sound....5 stars from this Canadian!!!!!

I came in with some questions about a camera repair and the gentleman that worked there was pretty condescending when I didnt just do what he thought was the best course of action. I went in hoping to have a conversation with a professional that could help me weigh the pros and cons of the different avenues available to me (repair, replace, new vs used) but unfortunately when I didnt just turn my camera over he told me to think about it and just turned and walked away from me. I was really surprised that this was the way that they treated customers. I would have preferred to spend my money in my community and support a local business but it wasnt worth their time to give me information so that I could be confident in my decision. Unfortunately, I wont be coming back.

What a great shop. Just had 300 slides, some of which were over 60 years old and deteriorating, copied and moved to disk. The color restoration was wonderful. The owner gave his personal service and was very friendly. He did a great job. Thanks.

Terry is extremely knowledgeable about cameras and photography, and very friendly and helpful. Their photographic services are extensive and very professionally done. This is arguably the best camera and photography store in the Bluewater and Thumb area, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of any photographic equipment and/or services.

I just stopped in with an interest in film. By far the BEST customer service I have ever had, he was informative and gave me a great deal. If you are even interested in photography I would stop in.

Everytime I walk into this shop to buy film for my camera, Ernest greets me with a smile on his face and is always happy to help with whatever I need help with. Never one bad visit here. 10/10 would recommend. Going here again today to drop off my film for developing, they always do an amazing job. 💞

Good stock of items, but a bit messy. Customer service is lacking. Was told one price by one employe, but then charged more by another. But one of the only places to get anything relating to film photography still.

Wish I could give them -10! Though I bet the guy wouldnt even care! Worst customer service ever! Called, looking for cameras and lenses to purchase, ASAP, for my wedding. First thing the guy says I dont have time for you, when youre serious about buying a camera, call me back. And hangs up! Seriously?! Need to buy a camera and equipment! Guess Ill be taking my money elsewhere!

I tried supporting the local shop and ended up getting totally ripped off for a terrible reproduction. I had it redone at a chain store where I got better service and results for 1/10th of the cost. I’m surprised this guy is still in business.

When I started my photography in October 2015 I went into his store. Terry was very professional and answered all of my questions. I purchased my very nice Canon Rebel from him. Took all of the classes he offered and hit the ground running. Every time I called or went in with a question he knew the answer and very helpful. I have all of my professional pictures pro yes there. He has them printed faster than I asked for. Very high quality prints. His prices are reasonable. If you dont like his prices go to Wal-Mart or Meijer where the color quality is horrible. I will be his customer the rest of my photography career.

Very rude on the phone. Ive been a photographer for 35 years professionally. Have never been treated so rudely over a simple question about a back up battery for on of my lower end Nikon bodies. I will continue to do business with Camera Mart in Pontiac. They treat you with respect and know there Cameras. Disappointed.

The owner of this place is a rude jerk. I have only been to this camera shop twice. Once 15 years ago when I wanted to buy a Canon digital camera. He would not sell me oneu wanted, he only wanted to sell me a Nikon. Even though he sold Canon cameras. When I refused to buy the Nikon he got rude with me.15 years later, I just went in there to ask a question, looking for some advice on a Canon camera I have. Because I didnt buy the camera from him he refused my business. He was very rude and said that if I would have bought it from him he would help me but since I didnt buy it from him he wont even look at it. All I wanted to do is ask a question. Its no wonder people dont buy cameras from him, the guy is a rude.

The first time I came in here I was looking for a remote for my Canon Rebel. He asked what kind of camera I had and when I told him, he had no idea what kind of camera that was and that I had to bring it in. Annoyed I went home and came back a few months later with my camera in hand. I was still looking for a wireless remote and once again, after looking at my camera he had NO idea what kind of camera it was. I fell like for a Camera shop that he should know at least the top few camera types. Like Canon and Nikon are both household names...We tried to pair a remote with my camera and he didnt know how to set it up so he told me I can buy the wireless remote and if it doesnt work to come back and he could exchange it for one with a cord, which I didnt want. Then I asked if I could just return it, and he said no. Glad I asked because he wasnt going to mention that the $45 remote would be mine regardless if it worked or not. Needless to say I left with nothing and I will not be returning. Best Buy could have given me better answers.

I was looking for used DSLR camera, but I would have bought a new one (from him), to get the features I wanted. So, you know when you tell someone (who is an expert) what youre looking for and they say I dont know what youre talking about and you can tell they do but just want to make you feel stupid. Thats how my experience started. Ill admit it, Im a dummy next to this guy and I didnt know the right terminology. So fine, Im prepared to deal with his camera snobbery and somehow and Im able to describe what I need enough for him to be willing to help me. In my head, Im thinking cool, this guy knows his stuff and Im going to get exactly the camera I need for the job. He shows me a used camera, but isnt sure it has the one feature that I really need and says he has to check. Im thinking great Ill snap a pic of the tag with model and other info, to compare against the DSL camera I have at home. I get my phone out to take the picture and he says NO!, we dont allow that. Im completely taken a back (a camera shop wont let me take a picture, okaeeeey). Then he says Thats bad form! So I say Maybe youre not the person to help me and I start for the door. He yells after me I havent had much luck with Realtors anyway!. I yell back This is why your store is empty and Im outside. So hell-bent on preventing people from taking advantage, hes hurting his own business. I mean, I get it, Im a Realtor, some people just want to pick your brain, but others when you share knowledge become clients for life. I would have bought a camera from him and I would have been a loyal customer....shame really.

If you want quality work done on framing, photos etc. this is where you should go.

I have never experienced such rudeness on the phone from a business. Refused to fix my camera because it was less than a year old. Sarcastically wished me good luck before he hung up on me. I wasnt asking for warranty work. I was willing to pay for it myself. So sad.
