Sliders are back, thank God! Theyre good too, just like I remember. Coney dogs are also yummy. And I especially love that they brought back the drive thru.

This place is phenomenal for what it is.We drive up here from Shelby Township once a week for their awesome atmosphere and delicious sliders!The owner and staff here are great as well! If you ever rarely have an issue, the owner makes sure to take care of you immediately.The staff is friendly, the Diner eats are great!This is the only place I’d ever drive an hour just to get 10$ in sliders and head back home.If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out!Also, where else can you find a real Juke Box with free play? Exactly!

I have always liked Powers as a kid. Then one year if closed.I was pretty upset knowing that I was never going to get those small little tasty burgers in my mouth again. Since they reopened my family has enjoyed spending time there. I have my own children now and they love these little tasty burgers to. Great job Powers thanks for reopening.
Has awesome time at car show hosted by Powers Diner! Not only were there amazing cars... Live band.. Outside grill... Amazing ribs... But wait staff served everyone who attended up and down Military like old school 50s carhops!!! Didnt matter if you were in parking lot or 3 blocks away. Those girls were awesome!
Sliders were amazing! Great service, cute little place, and free potato soup that feels like something your granny would make. Definitely stop in!
Very friendly staff and very fast service. Have visited with my family multiple times and always have great food. Crisy chicken salad is amazing! Sliders are always a go to and you cant beat the free soup!

The food is excellent. The owner had done a great job bringing this old diner and historical landmark back to life! You really get a 50s feel sitting in there.
Sliders were good, smothered in onion, little meatball type meat inside a tiny bun. Tasty, its what you expect and want from a slider. Their fries were also fresh and delicious! Such a retro tiny place you should definitely check out!
Love the food! But really get sick of every time we go we order 12 burgers 6 regular and 6 with ONLY cheese to take home. This is after the food we ordered to sit and eat. This past 2 times the 6 with only cheese are wrong. Now we ride our bikes there with our kids so I dont notice till we get home. Really bums me out considering we usually spend at least $50 and my husband always tips the cook! Wish either cook would read the ticket or waitress would right it down right. If it happens again I will take my business elsewhere. Really getting tired of it! I expect to get what I order.
The best onion rings I’ve ever had, the onion doesn’t all fall out, and melts in your mouth. The chicken pita wrap is very good too. The chicken is moist, cheese is melty, a good amount of lettuce on there and the pita is nice and warm. 10/10 meal. Will come every time I come to Port Huron
For one thing it is a place of the past...My husband and I are from Port Huron and havent been back for much other than funerals and at last a wedding. So we decided to enjoy a little extra time and check out what Powers was like 44 yrs later. Wow, Powers grew, food taste different but absolutely delicious. Thankyou Powers
An iconic Downtown Port Huron classic diner. Known for sliders and home cooked breakfast. Greek Salad is the best in town, with homemade dressing. Kids love the chicken fingers, also the best in town. Large portions and good value. Bonus is the food view of the St. Clair River and watching owner John on the grill!
Had a craving for some Powers Sliders, havent had in almost 10yrs. I walked into Restaurant it was very clean, and reminded me of one of those 50s diners u see on TV. Service was friendly and fast....Sliders were way better than I remembered..... Cant wait to try more things from the menu.
The service is wonderful! The prices are really good. The food is outstanding and the decor is very nice. They make the best and biggest breakfast around for a price that makes you think youve gone back in time. Burgers are amazing too. The soup is FREE! Jukebox is free too! For dinner and a show, sit at the counter and watch the cook work his magic. That guy can multi-task like youve never seen!
Comfortable spot to grab a bite of delicious food. The staff and cooks and wait staff are all friendly and get the job done. I highly recommend Powers Diner to all family and friends. My toddler loves their pancakes and bacon. The atmosphere is great the best diner in Michigan
Food was great but the service i had was terrible. One waitress took our drink order then decided to chat with her boyfriend in the corner booth for 10 min while we wait for our order to be taken. Then the other waitress that is tending tables comes up. She asks if our order has been taken so we give her our order. First waitress sees this and starts throwing things cussing and acting very unprofessional. Then treated us poorly. They then let our food sit there and get cold due to them argueing over who was taking the food to the table. Then original waitress the rude one slams food on table and says idk who gets what with an attitude and storms off. I really like this restaurant a lot and wont allow a waitresses poor work ethics stop me from returning. But i would hope that you get rid of such a terrible employee
Is that Gordon Ramsey making those burgers back there in the PM? This hidden gem in Port Huron offers a great intimate dining experience for a very fair price. Best burgers in town!
Disappointing experienceI asked for hot chocolate, the girl said the didnt have any, even though it was on the menu. I then asked for coffee. She brought water instead, and then disappeared. A different waitress took my order. The food was adequate.
One of my favorite little retro diners to grab some excellent sliders at! Onion rings are huge and tasty as well. Friendly staff and good service. A must try!

As soon as we walked in the staff was very friendly. Made us feel very welcomed. I ordered breakfast, and let me tell you the food was delicious, fresh, and hot. Didnt taste pre made then heated up. For the amount of food you get the prices were very economical. Thank you Powers Diner, Ill recommend your restaurant,and Ill be coming back!

There is nothing like a Powers slider. Have eaten at fast food chains in Port Huron and even family restaurants and other diners, very good food they have, but the powers slider is in a class all its own. They have a very unique taste that I believe is due to their stainless steel grill. I dont know how they make em so good but they are the best hamburgers in Port Huron.

I have never enjoyed a burger more than I have here, and the people are very nice and mannered, they don’t smile much but are extremely polite. I was able to sit and watch my food being made fresh! Just don’t order lettuce on a hot burger it turns brown super fast and isn’t as tasty. Have napkins ready at least for the fresh ham and bacon sandwich I ordered To DIE FOR! Must have Mots sticks with ranch they are super thick. The tomatoes are thick, the onions are thick, I’m getting hungry again thinking about it ha ha. Please visit and try, I do not think you will be disappointed.

This place is a classic. Ive been eating Powers for the better part of 30 years. I now live in Warren not far from Brays and Tellway which are both slider joints and I still prefer to make the drive to Port Huron specifically for a bag of Powers. I even grab an extra 4 as road burgers.
Sliders were good but coneys were not. Waitress was very nice. Free barley soup was decent.

First time inside Powers. Really cool place, excellent burger and fries. Used to get carry out from the old diner back in the late 50s early 60s and eat down under the bridge.

Amazing.. I have just recently moved to the area and have sampled a number of places in Port Huron but Powers Diner is most definitely in my top places to go. Staff super friendly, food awesome, very generous helpings. If you find yourself in the area and looking to fill your belly with great food for a great price then this is the place to be.
I ate here with my friend and may I say I will be back. The service was very good the food was great and the prices are some of fairest I have seen. If I lived closer I would eat here often.

Today was my first time there, I didnt know the menu but figured Id look it over and grab something to go sense I was by myself. Thats when I was offered the daily FREE homemade soup. (Today, Thursday, was chicken and dumplings, which was very good) that made me know I was definitely dinning in. I noticed the menu had a lot of options, and for reasonable prices. I ended up getting a specialty hotdog(forgot the name but its a hotdog wrapped in bacon and cheese and deep fried)a slider, a side of fries, and a pop. All of which cost about 8 dollars. With that, The fries are a basket of fries for 2 bucks, so for me, with the soup, and slider and some of the fries I was full, so I had the hotdog and more the half the fries left for a second meal.I will definitely be coming back
Juke box is free. Staff is excellent. Breakfast is heaping and easy on the billfold. Lunch is good too. Known for beef sliders. 50s style nostalgia. Would love to see some roller skates!

Wife seen this cute little place and said lets try it, We turned around and Im glad we did. Walked in and we was greeted with a smile and a welcome. The food was awesome and as a chef i know good food. If youre ever in Port Huron this place is a must stop at and you wont be disappointed. We are from Roseville, Mi and we will be back. Absolutely the best slider Ive ever ate. Seriously makes you think of White Castle and go wow...Ive been settling for all these years. I had the slider meal. Got 2 sliders (not as small as White Castle), and order of 🍟, a small greek salad (about the size of a side salad at most restaurants), and my ice tea...only cost me $8.00. The place is a old style diner with records on the wall, pictures of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Lucy & Desi, and they have a jukebox in the back that you can play for free! Its a must next time youre in Port Huron.
Been wanting to stop here forever.....finally did. It was early and our breakfast was really good! Our waitress was adorable and the cook, John...was burley and handsome as heck! :)

Been here for 20 min since ive ordered a To go order of 3 sliders and fries. I didnt even see a coof for the first 10 min i sat at the counter while my ticket among others just hung there. Finally he came out after yelling at the other cook in a very unprofessional manner and it could clearly be heard from the counter. I will never come here again. I FINALLY got my to go order. Gave the server 2 bucks and dipped. Never again.

Absolutely the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Food was not good, burnt eggs, biscuit u needed a knife to cut, all around bad. Service was no better. Will nexer be back.

The two times I have eaten here were both bothersome and nauseating. Not only do the staff have bad attitudes but the look of the place made me feel like I should get a free shot of penicillin with my meal.
