My daughter has her guitar lessons with Greg and she had her first session yesterday and she really liked him! Out of all the places shes done lessons she likes this place the best and its the cheapest of all the ones we tried!!

I have 3 kids all in band. I was expecting this to be a money pit. I have had issues with 2 of the instruments we have, both due to our kids mistakes. The people here are honestly the very best. They had 2 chances to bleed my wallet and didnt. This on top of the amazing amount of professionalism, knowledge, and friendly service makes this the only place i will go. I would 100% recommend this place with out a doubt.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and Liz was very helpful in helping me find exactly what I was looking for- my first guitar lesson book! I can’t wait to start learning. Going to Port Huron Music Center was a staple activity in my childhood, and being back there was just as great of an experience as I remember! I would recommend it to anybody.

Went there to ask about violin lessons and ended up getting some books to learn on my own while I waited to get my name on the wait list! Staff was super attentive and willing to work with me, and they have some really nice accessories and guitar picks :) overall awesome experience!

Liz is a sleeper cell that you shouldnt challenge in an arm wrestling match for a free piano bench. I didnt know layaway was still a thing, but at phmc it is. So I bought the piano ive been playing while my girlfriend was in the dollar store. Liz not only helped me thru that process but also showed me everything I was getting from my purchase. To me, theyre more than just a music store.

They fix and clean your instruments so Id say they are pretty great!

Needs to open back to a bigger demographic, not much going for guitars, bass, amps, guitar/bass hardware and more. Especially for the local metal and hard rock community. Used to be great when they would get quality instruments in. Ive had good and bad experiences with staff as well, some older woman yelling at me to not spend more then 5 minutes as soon as I walk in the door as I was looking to purchase something at the time. Definitely not my go to store. Hansons is the better way to go.

Had a very good experience at Port Huron Music. Very nice store and products. A wonderful woman waited on us with red hair, an older woman, and she was knowledgeable and amazing. One thing I do have a problem with is how the “millennials” were treating her, no respect at all for a seasoned musician. So bless her heart and people that work there, please give this woman the respect she deserves. Thank you very much.

My son 7 year old “G-man” is taking guitar with Greg. The instruction is top notch & Greg is making sure G-man isn’t getting any of my bad habits on the guitar. I highly recommend this facility for your music needs.

To all who see the low selection posts: I am a musician and I can guarentee the reason they dont carry an incredibly vast number of different instrument brands is because they believe in quality over quantity. They have almost any style of instrument you can think of, but jnstead of having 20 different brands, they chose to carry the best brands to ensure that your musical experience is top notch. I 100% recommend them, as it is where i go for everything musical.

I love the music center it’s a very friendly atmosphere with wonderful staff who will order parts online if they’re not in store and will serve you to their best abilities!!!

I sold them a new, only played once electric LTD, which costed me $175 and they give me $50. According to them, they go by what eBay says. And to top it off, you cant buy back your instrument :p Probably the worst customer service in all of customer service.
