Joe and his guys are great. Would not trust my water toys with anyone else.
Victory Marine is the best of the best. Their service dept is awesome. Always get the boat when promised. Keep you informed when unexpected problems occur. They answer your questions. Joe, the owner/manager is great to work with. He always finds a way to squeeze my boat into the schedule when unscheduled maintenance is needed. If you want to work with great people and and an awesome service department, this is absolutely the place to go!
Had what I needed to help me get my boat back on the road in the river very good people nice man that waited on me the owner I believe Ill buy parts from them again
Joe and his team repowered my boat recently and did a great job from beginning to end. They kept me in the loop as far as parts delivery and finished the project when they said they would from the start.
Took 400$ from me and told me absolutely nothing about the issues i present to them.
Went in looking for a new boat and found a used boat in fair condition at a great price. They answered all of my questions and made it easy to purchase. After the first trip out, I was quickly disappointed finding multiple issues on the boat. Brought it back and was told it would all be taken care of, and that they did! Every complaint and issue I had with the boat was repaired. Victory marine held up their end of the deal and made it right.
Awful place to buy used. I cannot stand sales people (Eric) who lie but, it’s even worse when the owner (Joe) will lie to you too. Tell me how it’s normal for a boat to overheat again. What a joke of a business. This is a shady place to buy anything from. I will never do business with this company again and you reading this you should be careful too. 4 times to victory to have the same issue fixed with nothing but the run around. One time to another shop and wow, overheating stops. I don’t know how these people sleep at night.
Ripped me off too @- said repair to my outboard would be 300$ ended up over 600$- told lies and still broken …should have looked on google reviews first-thanks joe-when we asked for a explanation we felt a hostile environment so we just paid and went-I don’t need one now, I have a invoice I can post -it’s hand written barely legible - it’s a shame
Took delivery of my boat today .Great experience. On time and took time to answer all ? I had. Thanks so much
Beware you must do all the financial paperwork yourself on line, even though the building has it painted on it FINANCING AVAILABLE . So they can earn their commissions off of your work.Gentleman was judgemental towards us because we were from Alabama down here visiting mom in law. I told the guy I wanted to buy the Bass Tracker boat, which Ive been researching his website from my home prior to coming there to purchase either the Tracker or Pontoon boat.Found out during my research of his website that the boats would be coming from Florida even, when I get it from a local dealer in my home Sate. During my further research the delivery cost I could save by coming to visit family and tow my new toy back home myself. Asked about the Pontoon boats the man stated they were all sold out. Before I walked away he stated to us Dont yall have a computer. I stated Well go to Gainesville to make the purchase.
Called Victory for a 40 HP re-power of my sons Whaler two weeks ago. I am still waiting for a returned call, after leaving 4 messages. I see all the good reviews, my experience is the opposite.
Victory Marine is a family-orientated boat shop with Fair prices
Hands down the best marine service department I have ever worked with. Joe (owner), his daughter Amanda and Andrew, the technician have been fantastic to work with. They are honest, friendly and very knowledgeable. This is my “go to” for Yamaha work.
Wonderful family owned business.Great service and personalized care. We love our new boat. Joe, Erik, Amanda, Tommy and Christmas, thank you for everything!
Maybe I went when they (sales and owner) were having a bad day but they were short and didn’t want to deal with me. It was hot but I was the only one there and the “owner” had to go to his sales guy to get the prices. The prices are the same as ordering online so u save no money (on new boats) but I didn’t purchase since they we’re short and didn’t want to talk at all. Seemed like they didn’t care about me which sometimes happens because of my appearance. I have long hair a beard and I don’t dress in boat shoes so most people don’t believe I have the money to buy a new boat. Oh well there’s a ton of more dealers.
The wife and I met the owner today at the Daytona Boat show. I am considering a Tahoe T16 boat but was unable to find anyone near me in the Clermont area (including Bass Pro Shops) who could answer my questions. Not only was Joe able to do what others could not, he was informative on things I was not thinking about but would be important later, especially rod holder install, placement. He was patient and a pleasure to talk to. If the wife lets me get the boat I will make the trip back to his marine and give him my business .
Schedule staff basically unhelpful
Great place. Erik was super helpful when buying my new boat. Just took it in for regular service.
Bought a beautiful Mako 18LTS here yesterday. Eric in sales was awesome and gave us a great trade in on our previous boat. David in service was very helpful and knowledgeable when we water tested our boat prior to the sale. The boat was ready for pickup exactly when they said it would be. Everyone was cheerful and courteous.I highly recommend this dealer!
I recently bought a used boat...it was stalling at low speeds and just not running right. Took it to victory marine in port orange and the looked the whole boat over, fixed the exact problems and tested it....took it out today and it ran like a brand new boat! Thank you to all of you for your great service and being so easy to work with. You have gained a customer for life!
Joe was very helpful and honest.
Victory Marine is an awesome place. Very relationship based which is lost in this day and age. Joe is a great guy and enjoyable to deal with. Highly recommend.
I bought an 18 foot pre-owned boat from Victory Marine. The price was reasonable considering what I had seen elsewhere. The first time out, the motor had an oil leak. Since I bought the boat and motor “as is” I knew that Victory Marine had no legal obligation to take care of the repairs. Instead of sticking it to me, Victory Marine took the motor off of the boat and put a newer motor (two years newer) and 25 more horsepower than the original motor. I was ecstatic! I knew they had no legal obligation to do anything. I really feel like these guys are honest and trustworthy and I am very happy to have bought my boat here.* I also got a free victory marine t-shirt out of the deal too ;-)
Excellent service when looking for a new boat
Closed on a Saturday 1pm, waste of my time driving over there.
Emailed, texted, and called twice about a boat for sale online. Parts supervisor confirmed the boat was still available. Said he would pass my call back info to Eric. Never received a response after several attempts. Definitely makes you wonder what type of service you’ll receive once you actually buy a boat, although not sure how it gets worse than never responding.
My son got his brand new tracker boat and the staff are wonderful!!
Shouldve looked at the reviews first! We bought our boat from Victory marine a year ago and had problems within the first month. Against our better judgement We took it back to them since they apparently knew the boat. Apparently it needed a new starter. They gave us a break on pricing because it shouldnt have needed one since it was just purchased. By the next summer it wouldnt start, they said it needed a tune up because it had be sitting. We took it in for a tune up and that turned into a new carburetor and some cables. They didnt even call us to let us know how much and ask if they should proceed (problem 1). We paid for it, got it home and it wouldnt even start. We took the battery to an auto parts store and it was good.Today is Sunday and they are closed or we would be sitting in the parking lot demanding answers or a boat that works. We have called the emergency number they leave for assistance and of course no answers.I agree with the last poster...STAY AWAY!
Great guys to do business with. No other place I would take the boat for repair. Joe’s a great guy.
Joe has outstanding customer service and has helped me time and time again he’s one hell of a standup guy Forsure will look forward to continuing business with him he’s helped me a lot on this merc 50.
I came all the way from Tampa to buy my boat from Eric. They stayed until 10:45 p.m. Yes PM!!!!! To deliver my boat. I was met with smiles and a willingness to go over the boat so late at night. Thank you for a great deal and customer service.
Great prices, purchased two boats from here, had a little trouble with one but the owner took care of it no problem!!! I thought that was great customer service as I signed the papers that I bought it as -is, I would definitely buy another boat from here, Eric sold me both boats I have, hes very knowledgeable and easy going and very helpful !
Fast repairs, neat workers, very happy with the work, will return for all my service
Purchased my Sea Fox 248 from Victory, not my first purchase from them. Joe and Eric are stand up straight shooters, I wouldnt go anywhere else.... period. Jimmy Pezzulich
Took my boat in due to an outdrive problem and they never even opened up the drive to see what was wrong to diagnose the problem and said it would be $5500 for a rebuilt outdrive. When I came by to pick up my boat to get another opinion “Joe” gets rude and in my face literally and starts yelling at me and charges me $200 for “storing” my boat even though I never asked him to “store” my boat. I then went to a knowlegable marine mechanic who opened up the outdrive, found out what was wrong, and fixed the problem for less than half the price. “Joe” had the nerve to ask me “if I knew about boats”. I guess he was hoping I was stupid and would have really tried to take advantage of me if I said no. Find a knowlegable mechanic who will take the time to show you what is wrong and explain and provide options for repair instead of someone who will “ask if you know about boats” to decide if they can take advantage of you like this place tried to do.
Joe is a good guy! Knowledgeable and helpful. Parts, service, fabrication, everything you need for Florida boating.
Sales manager Eric is most helpful and helping us decide on with the best course of action very helpful
Great guys! Very nice boats!
Beware if you purchase a new motor from here. Pull the top off the motor to verify. Purchased a boat and upgraded to a new motor pd for it to find out he put a 2014 instead of a 2016 on it!!!! Only found out because we sold the boat because we trusted them!!
Great prices nice boats excellent service. What else could you ask for?!
Eric was a no pressure salesman and very easy to talk too. Answer all my questions.
Joe the owner saw me at dunlawton bridge with my boat motor kicking my assI told him i was ex army and this guy joe took me to his shop at victory and had my boat fixed in 5 minutesCharged me a more than fair priceVictory will get all of my businessAsk for Joe
Finally, a marine service with people you can trust at their word! Joe has gone above and beyond to help us get our boat fixed and at the best price possible! Thank you Joe and Dave!
