This place always has good veggies. They are a little more expensive but worth it to me. The only thing I cant get here are the more exotic peppers for my pickles.

Very disappointed. I went to your store today to buy a case a water and theres nothing on the shelves. No cases of water at all. Thats not how you operate the store with no water available. Besides theres also alot products missing. I dont understand this. I shop other stores and they have what I need. Im very disappointed.

Scanner system down. Had to shop the old fashioned way. Took one star away due to the extra work involved. Please get it back up and running quickly. Also, when you have a sale, make sure theres sufficient stock on hand to avoid shelves like the pictures. The new self checkout system with the scales weighing your purchases is a joke.

The worst lunch ever....this is the saltiest food I have ever tried to eat....I had no choice but to throw it away! 2 chicken straps with liquidity Mac and cheese....seriously nasty...a kidney killer to say the least. Fairly large super market with poor selection. Pretty much your basic grocer. If you want more specialty items or something specific I would choose fairway or whole foods over this place.

I was able to get all I needed. The store is clean and well stocked. I love the customer held item scanner. Only handle every item I buy once. Pick it up, scan it, and drop it in my bag. Not once from shelf to wagon, then to the cashier, and finally from the cashier into a bag.A problem tonight, no aisle to checkout with the scanner. But I was saved at the courtesy counter, she read my Scanner and checked me out. 4 of 5 stars.

The store in Port Washington NY is clean, safe and taking care of all! Senior hour is great and they are considerate. There may not be paper products, nor cleaning products but lots of meat dairy and vegetables. Thanks Stop and Shop

Good,clean, convenient supermarket. Nice sized place. Not huge but roomy aisles and ample selections in every department. Good deals that change weekly and a big plus for me are the hours. Theyre open long hours 7 days a week and open for a limited time on mostmajor holidays . Currently the hours are 6am till Midnight Monday thru Saturday. Sundays they close at 10pm. Plenty of free parking too. Satisfied shopper here.

Starbucks is. Cheaperthan outside ones. Friendly grocers and manager. Fresh vegies daiky and flower arrangements looks great.

Great supermarket with major brands. I wish the fresh produce section was larger and with more variety, the selection of salad is somehow limited. Prices are not cheap, but they are cheaper than some other local alternatives. Friendly personnel and very clean and airy.

Its ok.I like the quality of the produce and the fact that there prices are on average $1 less per lb compared fo NSF but would like to see more of a selection, especially when it comes to vegetables.I also find that some of the shelves are not restocked for weeks (baking powder or certain spices).

The reason I am giving your store only one star is because the older woman you have working in the bakery writing on the cakes is extremely rude. She needs to learn how to be nice to the customers. She definitely needs a customer service class.

I recently shopped here and have to say its pretty good. My only complait is the staff. When i went to the meat section, the people who were working there took forever to notice us waiting on line. When we asked for our order, the guy was so slow it made me angry. Before he gave us the order, he told us it would snow later that day (which it didnt because it was summer). When we waited in line, there was an old lady checking out the food who was again, really slow.

I have been shopping here since Stop & Shop opened. We wouldnt shop anywhere else. The staff is courteous and helpful, the selections are fresh and plentiful. Just pick your shopping day wisely, a good store gets crowded! My only reason for not making this a five star experience is they need more staff. But the ones you do encounter, do their best to make shopping pleasant. Great job Port Stop & Shop 👍👍

I ordered my son’s birthday cake for the first time at the Stop & Shop Bakery. A young man with glasses assisted me with my order and gave me some of his recommendations. The day of my pick up, he had some issues with the printer where the photo that was to be used was not coming out as expected. He was apologetic and told me step by step what he was going to do to resolve the issue. He quickly finished my cake, it looked perfect, and the cake was a big hit at the birthday party. My cake was aboslutely delicious. The inside was very soft and fluffy, and the strawberry filling tasted very fresh. Great first experience!

This is a nice stop and shop. Clean, great people, GREAT barista at the Starbucks, funny cart guy, terrific organic aisles, and good bakery. The pharmacy is the best. Fast and eager to help. Also, great staff at the People’s and never a line.

Big store just cant understand why cashiers are so rude... Im aware of this normally because I have brown skin but I went to a brown skin lady not sure of what culture due to her garb but she was rude as heck turned to a white female not in her lane and was very nice to her. I worked with the public for years and one thing is for certain green money is green money Im sure the management understands that all too well. They just need to stipulate it to their employees.

Very good selection - large store. Of the grocery stores in the area they are slightly better priced than the others (except Target which has a very limited selection). Fruits and vegetables are ok although I prefer North Shore Farms. Meats are so-so. Good dairy. breads, staples, cleaning supplies, healthcare supplies. Some ethnic foods. They have a pharmacy. They have a loyalty card which means theyre probably selling your shopping data.☹️

Only shopping center in the Port Washington/Manerhaven area so its got to be the best. Lol

Almost always has anything I need. Be nice for the beer to be on sale more often on more of the variety but..., great sales on the food though.

Terrible produce. Rotting vegetables. Have yet to see fresh organic lettuce - any type as they are all always ready for the garbage (yet still cost $2.99). Never see more than two registers open - everything else is self checkout. Scanit mobile never connects. Ugh. I wish there were more choices in town. Maybe with competition this place would actually try.

I cannot begin for the life of me understand how on earth this store has a 4 star rating. After living on long island for my entire life and frequenting all of the commercial supermarket chains, this location is by far the worst, which is absolutely shocking considering the relatively upper middle class neighborhood it resides in. The produce section is disgraceful at best, it’s either completely bare, or stocked with overripe and expired fruits and vegetables, not to mention grossly overpriced. The deli staff is incompetent at best, I cannot being to count the amount of times I’ve had to return things because they’ve either given me something I didn’t ask for or I received a completely different item. The store in general is constantly in disarray, they never have any of the yogurts we eat, the milk always goes bad close to a week before the expiration date. There’s never any more than 2 cashiers at any given time, so lines are always ridiculous. I could go on for awhile. I truly have no idea how this store has such a high rating because I am constantly commiserating with other shoppers in the store. They really need to step up their game for being one of the only players in town, it’s pretty shameful.

Many times dont have items that are supposed to be on sale with coupon. They substitute with a lesser known brand. Plus they dont have items that should be in stocks.

Out of stock on many items particularly Frozen foods, out of stock on the cherries which were feature for the week.

It was clean well stocked, cashier was rude didnt try to pack the groceries into bags.

Horrendous store. Always runs out of stock. Always takes forever to refill shelves. Packaged greens, salads are brown and wilty and sometimes even brown juice at bottom of container.Also this location has a Starbucks, to which homeless people are allowed to hang out, charge phones, play movies etc. All day.Not happy.

Rarely a good experience. Too often 1or 2 cashiers and 5 or 6 self registers and most dont do cash. Should I do a card for 2 items. Hell no. Last trip I told manager to put the fruit back himself.

If you are using WIC- DO NOT GO TO THIS STOP AND SHOP.The manager refused to give me the allotted amount of food my child is allowed to receive. I am allowed the Gerber 4oz container (Two 2 oz. containers come in 1 package).The manager fought with me and harshly said “I don’t know why you have all this food, these packages are not 4oz”.I have been using WIC for 9 months now and I know what my child is allowed to receive.This manager is NEGLIGENT to all the children who are receiving WIC. She is only giving 50% of food that the children are allotted.VERY DISTURBING. I am highly disappointed with this facility and that a manager could do this to children who are in need. HORRIBLE!

I am a frequent shopper at this store and I usually find myself unable to find at least one item that I need. It is usually a product that I either have purchased before at this location or a very common product that they SHOULD have in stock.When I ask the customer service desk for help they are not very helpful.I have asked for certain products to be ordered and when I come back it is not there again.Lastly, the bathrooms in this store are outrageously DISGUSTING.
