Bunch of young uneducated kids standing around outside never help or even seem to want to help not to mention everytime I order a part and go to install it turns out its the wrong part EVERYTIME!!! And since the parts been opened they wont give me my money back or even store credit when its there mistake......bogus shop bring the old crew back

I’ve been going to the Tigard branch for 27 years now and if they don’t have the part, they’ll give me suggestions of competitors to try. I needed a bleeder brake screw so I called to see if they had it. They did down an isle and I asked which one and how to find it because I was sending my son. The employee “Jordan” said to just ask for him and he’s take care of it. You HAVE to love a local parts shop with small town values - thanks!

We recently suffered a breakdown in Tigard, Oregon while traveling from LA to Seattle. The employees of Baxter Automotive were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful during a very stressful situation, providing us with great service, searching out answers for us to difficult parts issues and, finally, pulling it all together for us quickly so that we could get back on the road. Sadly I didnt catch all of their names but a huge thank you to them all!

Excellent customer service here! They were able to help me confirm my suspicion that my battery was having issues. The place I had purchased the battery from said it was fine, but because it is under warranty with that place for a bit longer I think they didnt want to have to replace it and were trying to run out the warranty period on me (that place had already had to replace it once). I was able to get a new one here and they helped me get it installed. This is just the latest of good service experiences Ive had here, and they have become my go-to parts store because of it.

Walked in on a prayer. Hoping that just maybe they might be able to order me.a K&N filter for my infiniti qx60. They could but did one better. Had the filter on the shelf. I purchased it, had it in the car and was back on the road in 10 minutes. These guys are awesome.

Fair prices. Good selection. Nice associates. They even changed my wiper blades even though it was raining. Very much appreciate it.

Pathetic employees standing in the parking lot yelling, cussing and trying to pick fights with people right outside the store. Do they really think they are tough or intimidating or have any right to do this? This is definitely one store that wont be getting any of my business again.

This place is great. Selection is huge and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Part lookup is easy and non-condescending (which I especially appreciate being car maintenance illiterate).

Went into this Baxters and like any car owner knows when going into a parts store... what you sometimes go in for turns out to be more parts than originally expected.. thats what happened to me, however Kendrick that works at this Baxters was great and was able to help me above and beyond his duty! Very helpful but not adhereing to local health safety guidelines. The worker I spoke with on 30 Dec 2020, while wearing one, with was very adamantly against facemasks and encouraged a customer to enter without one.

When I needed wiper *refills* for my Jaguar, I was sure Id have to order them online because most shops dont stock them. But a check on their website showed that the Baxters on 99W did. The best part was that Kendrick was nice enough to install them for me, which was not very straightforward. Thanks for a great experience!

Very knowledgeable! I mean if you ever wanted to know anything about any model car these dudes know what theyre talking about. before you buy a used car go in there and ask those fellows if that particular model year has had lots of problems, they would know.

Ive used this store since 1997 and it has always been staffed by fast, efficient, helpful and friendly staff. Must have a good owner or manager. It has both north and south easy I5 access. They will go out of their way to help you.

Please update your store hours with the major internet search engines. When I used my Maps of the Googles to find somewhere to buy a simple on/off toggle switch I thought “oh hey, I’ve got plenty of time” which ended up leaving me outside this building out of luck because now every other store is closed too. Sucks.People rely on correct information. Please update when things change.

Ok for basics great service, they even install my wiper blades. Very easy access and parking with easy interstate 5 freeway access. Sometimes takes a bit at parts counter. Easily seen from hwy 99 and if they dont have your part 2 other parts places within a 1 mile you can stop at. I never have had to return anything wrong yet. I buy oil filters and light from them frequently. U usually within 10 minutes.

Great advice and service. they did a double flare on my brake line saving me from. buying a new one and charged me zero dollars.lots of parking, handicapped friendly, good customer service and there parts are great quality.

Kendrick helped me replace my headlights and change a bad fuse out in a short amount of time which was amazing. This was pretty big for me because I dont know the most about cars so doing it myself couldve taken hours with the fuse situation.

They are helpful and friendly. Much better than chain stores.

Quick great service. I showed them a pic of a water separator and they pulled it right off the shelf. If they dont have it they will find it for you. Pleased.

Convenient parking lot that always had room. Broad selection for all your automotive needs. And a helpful staff that was nice enough to put my windshield wiper blades on for me. Also its just if the freeway and very close to an entrance.

I think the people there are just great theyre very helpful I needed a battery and since are used a walker they put it in for me which was so great I couldnt have done it without them before that I called Napa and ask them if I bought a battery from them if they would put it in they told me no we dont do that so Baxters keep up the good work I think you guys were great and very helpful

I specifically order Valvoline and brand name products for my daughter’s car and for her to pick up, when she got home they substituted their own brand (Parts Master) and when I spoke to the manager he tried arguing with me about brands and said if I want I come back in and they would trade out. Really “lame”.

I have a pre-owned car that had the headlights modified with an after market unit. The staff here was able to identify an exact replacement part and order it (one day delivery). Im quite happy with such good service.

Pretty normal auto parts store which offers a pretty good selection of parts for most cars. The staff is helpful in finding something that will fit your car if you cant find it yourself. Prices are reasonable.

Staff here have always been friendly, helpful and efficient. Even though it was busy today, one of the store staff not only helped me find the right wiper blades, but went out to the parking lot and had them installed by the time I had paid and walked outside (thanks, Chris!).

Been working here since the beginning of December and they have had just about everything I need. If they dont have it in stock they can often get it same day from the warehouse. If youre building a Chevy 350 or other common V8 theyll have just about anything you can ask for when it comes to performance parts.

Ordered a new K and N filter for my 2014 Tundra 5.7L and it was in by noon from the warehouse. Good customer service by the staff.

Although there is a long line, the ice cream is amazing! The best I have ever had. The prices are a little high, but not too bad. The staff is really friendly.

Great parts store helpful staff

Bought a battery 5 months ago... After intensive diagnostic testing on my Mustang, came to find out that it was a bad battery. Went back to return the battery..the gentleman behind the desk said no problem... tested it... Then brought out a new one and was going to test it as well...but discovered it was leaking battery acid.. after he brought out the third battery I was at the end of my rope.. I will wait for a couple of months to see how my Mustang performs but I have a feeling Ill be back at Baxters to return yet another battery... Not happy

I was stuck here broken down on a Sunday on my way back to Eugene. The gentleman at the store went above and beyond to help me out so i could get back on the road. They had the part i needed in stock and lent me the tools i needed to get the job done. I would have had a major towing bill or been stuck in portland all night if it werent for them. I really appreciate the excellent customer service and if I am ever in town again would definitely go here for parts!

These guys are great! I had purchased a replacement headlight bulb and attempted to install myself and gave up until my ADHD frustration subsided. So 2 weeks go by and my rear brake light went out as well. These nice employees delegated one of them to go outside and install BOTH of the burnt out bulbs. YAY!

I walked in to find some replacement wiper blades. I was greeted at the front door and not only did they help me find my parts in under a minute but they helped me install them. In the RAIN! Rudy was the sales rep. An amazingly good experience.

Scammy warranty system. Part with lifetime warranty went bad a year in, and the only way to get a new one was with the receipt. They must be the only auto store chain that doesnt have a customer account system to look up purchase history. They sell you a part with a lifetime warranty but make it no convenience to call in on that warranty. Taking my business elsewhere with up to date computer systems

Staff here goes above and beyond to help you out. My 4 year old son was running around and the staff was more than willing to grab everything I needed for my car. That and very knowledgeable about all projects you may be working on.

Amazing customer service! Car battery died a few blocks down the road. Called Baxter Auto Parts and they brought a new battery to us! Even helped us swap it out. When we took the old battery in for recycling, the staff was friendly and the store looked clean and stocked.

Very friendly and helpful staff. So far Ive been able to get most parts I need for our three German cars at a decent price, sometimes the part needs to be ordered.

I needed some wiper blades last night. It was pouring. I stopped at teh Tigard location at highway 99. Not only did they help me find the right blades, but they came out into the rain and installed them for me. It was extraordinary service at 8 p.m. in the dark. I really appreciated the extra help and will keep going back.

Plenty of staff on hand decreasing the wait time, very informative, can be a bit tricky to get to but as long as you know stay in the left lane if your driving towards portland, and turn left before the overpass then you shouldnt have to turn around.
