Botta Moto works has been incredible. They serviced my 2007 LR3 since 2007 keeping her going to 211,000 miles (I just sold her) with no major issues due to their maintenance on her. Ive brought my 2010 Mercedes SLK 300 to them since I bought it used. They do and excellent job and work on a lot of amazing cars. Regardless their pricing is more than fair. It tells they love cars. Great guys.

This place seems to have a reputation for handling high-end European imports, but Ive been very pleased with their service on my old, very not-high-end Volkswagen Golf.They are quick and seem honest about what needs to be done and what doesnt - I got a recommendation for a brake pads change and they inspected and said it wasnt needed.Another time I got an outrageous quote for replacing my throttle body assembly and their quote was very reasonable, they explained to me why the quote was cheaper, and took only half a day to replace it after I dropped the car off.

They replied to my request for service so quickly and accommodated my cars need to be checked the very next business day. Theyre a very busy, go to place, but they diagnosed and fixed my car and washed it the same day. Theyre honest about what really needs to be done and try to give me the best possible price.

Such a terrific experience working with the team at Botta Moto Works! Honesty and fairness and conscientiousness arent terms one usually uses to describe automotive repair shops--but all three words are what Ive found Botta Motor Works to be all about. Another word for it: Integrity. I would highly recommend them to you whether you need repairs on an expensive exotic or the family SUV. Cant say enough good things about them!

Took our 2018 LR Discovery in for scheduled maintenance. It was easy to make an appointment: Botta was responsive and set an appointment the same week. The cost was very reasonable and the car washing they did after servicing the truck was way closer to detailing than a simple washing. Really outstanding service and value!

I had such a great experience here! I had been using the service center at the dealership that sells my car make, and in the past year I was having an impossible time getting calls back for my attempts to schedule service, AND they couldnt figure out the source of my check engine light.Botta was able to figure out what was going on with the check engine light (and it was kind of a major issue! Kinda important to diagnose and repair!) and they fixed my AC, thank god.They arranged for a Lyft for transportation for me, communication was excellent the entire time, they washed my car, and they generally made me feel valued as a customer, a neighbor, and a motorist. Highly recommended!

Botta Moto Works did wonderful work handling a State Farm insurance repair for my Porsche Cayman S, after an unfortunate black ice incident on Thanksgiving Day. They replaced broken parts with original OEM pieces, re-wrapped the parts where needed, and went the extra mile to check alignment, refinish the wheels, etc.I had a great experience with Michelle in the office who kept me updated on the state of the repair throughout the process.Would highly recommend Botta Moto Works for anyone looking for service or repair.

Casey and his team are awesome! I needed some work done on my headlight and fender. He referred me to his preferred collision shop for an estimate on the work that he doesnt perform. Casey coordinated every facet of the process, making it all seamless for me. I also had his shop detail the car. Bottom line is the car looks great! He and his staff are responsive, honest, and so skilled! I have worked with many auto shops and by far, he is the best in every aspect!

This establishment is right down the street from me. I was looking for a good detail shop to really clean up my lancer evolution and nissan frontier. It may seem they only work on exotics but its not the case and good for me.Both my cars look amazing and I am so happy with the stellar job the detailers and also the customer service and friendliness of the staff. They always do a good job with a fair price. It’s difficult to find a mechanic that does European cars that aren’t German. The mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly.

Botta was amazing. When I called about my VW, they had me bring my car in that day, had it repaired by the next day, explained everything in a clear way so I understood exactly what was wrong. They also washed and vacuumed it before I picked it up. It was a great experience all the way through. I highly recommend them.

I recognize that this is cliché but I wish there was some way of awarding more than a 5 stars. These guys are quality people on top of being a quality business. I brought my DB7 to them. I totally thought based on the value of the car that I would get a run around and be charged a fortune for anything that would need doing. On the contrary, they were considerate of expense they charged me the bare minimum and they continue to be a resource and have expected nothing. They understood my position, knew every detail of the car and helped me through what could have been a nightmare. I cant thank you guys enough! Highly recommended.

It took me too long to find an alternative to using the BMW dealership, and Im glad I finally did right here in the North Portland neighborhood. Ive priced out a number of services in comparison to the dealership and the are consistently more affordable. The only example I have found where they are not cheaper is oil change and I bet there is a good reason for this (e.g., the oil change at the dealership often leads to so many other recommended services and upsells, and I have not had this experience at Botta, in fact, they performed some of the vehicle-check services for free that wouldve been charged at the dealership).Additionally, theyve been fair and not seemed to take advantage of a lack of auto knowledge, such as removing small billing issues I would never catch from a quote.The best testament to their knowledge, service, and quality is the constant rotation of super cars parked out front. If folks are trusting them with those, well, that says something.

Always great service, never more expensive than I was expecting, and often near (and sometimes less) than they quoted! Very happy with the work theyve done to keep my 20-year-old car on the road and up to speed. They also were kind enough to detail five years of daily use out of it, and now its so clean I could eat in it (but I wont). Great service at a good price.

Absolutely the best mechanic any of us with “not normal cars” could ask for. I had issues with shops pretending they knew how to work on my cars only for nothing to get done and had obviously limited experience in the exotic cars world. Casey knows his exotics, is super fair, honest and trustworthy. They did an awesome job on a complete motor out diagnostic and repair on one of the most challenging cars ever! I’m sure they would also like everyone to know they work on all cars too. I had 5 different vehicles in the shop for other little things in like 2 months from a Mercedes sprinter van, an Escalade ride height adjustment and some work on our Tesla too! Casey has even made a couple house calls to work a few bugs out of the beast! Also coming soon a awesome coffee/espresso bar and hang out area. I’m so glad I was referred to Botta and now I encourage everyone to give them a shot too!

Skilled, competent, efficient.I have owned a Mini Cooper for the past two years. It is a car I waited years to finally own, but during my short ownership, I have spent a lot of time at Mini Cooper of Portland service facility. Frustrating.I decided to try something new and tried a private Mini Cooper repair shop off of Foster road. It was there for a week while they spent time replacing unnecessary parts while trying to diagnose why it wouldnt start. I lost faith in them and had it towed to Botta Motto Works at the advice of a friend.They had it diagnosed and repaired within a couple of hours. And the repair needed was overlooked by Mini and this second repair facility which was the main cause of all of my trips to Mini Copper of Portland Service Dept for the past 2 years.I was planning on selling it believing that it was a problematic car. But Botta Moto Works understands my cars unique needs and delicate nature. I feel like I can finally enjoy ownership and plan on having Botta help me keep it happy and Mini-ing for a while longer.Happy customer! I plan on telling everyone I know.

This shop is wonderful. I called to find out how long it would take to get an appointment. They fit me in that day (!), did the work for a super reasonable price, and answered a bunch of questions I had about some work I want to do myself. And, I wish this wasnt so noteworthy, but as a woman I am usually talked down to or assumed to be mechanically ignorant when I first interact with mechanics. The staff at Botta Moto Works did not do this and I really appreciated it. Very happy customer.

I have been meaning to leave this review for a long time.I went in for an inspection on a car I purchased last September, at the time not knowing much about cars (not at all the case anymore) and wanting a mechanics blessing about driving it cross country/what exactly I needed to know about it to maintain it/keep myself safe on the road.I came in and was immediately greeted with oohs and ahs about the car - its a 1986 Jeep Cherokee that at the time only had 37,000 miles on it and is in incredible physical shape. There was even mention that a friend of one of the mechanics would love to have this car because its a remarkably well-maintained collectible.I was then told it would be $100 to look at the car and was even asked to leave the establishment and wait at a grocery store down the road. I found this strange but because of the reviews and the extremely nice front-of-house staff, I trusted and obliged.When I returned I was met with 2 mechanics, whose names I cannot remember now, now with a demeanor more ready to deliver the news that my grandmother had just died. They began to tell me everything that was wrong with the car - advising me it wouldnt be possible to drive any sizeable distance. The list of symptoms included things like belts needed to be replaced, the 4WD not working, the tires needing to be replaced (stressing theyd all be $200-300 each), the air conditioning not working, the brake pads being shot, and rust underneath the engine. They advised me the best thing to do was try to turn around and sell the car, telling me Id be lucky to get $1,000 for it (I paid $2,200).Nervous and unsure what to think about what I heard, I went down the road to the Tire King, figuring Id try to get a second opinion and at least a second quote on the tires aside from the $1,000+ one I had gotten from Botto.There I was greeted by Rudy, and extremely honest and fair mechanic who looked over the car and quote from Botto and informed me that they quoted me on a more expensive type of off-road tire, not the originals the car came with, which would run me only $80 a tire. He also took the time to do the same check up Botto did for $100 for free, all the while walking me through it, helping me better understand my car and its potential issues. He and the other mechanics at King Tire sent me off with new belts, an oil change, fluid refills, a full set of new tires and a clean bill of health for my car for around $400. The rust beneath the engine came off with some baking soda and a scrub brush.I drove this car from Portland to San Diego and across all of the southwest to New Orleans over the next few months. I routinely got the car checked up on, learned everything I could about how to take care of it myself and even had several mechanics and car enthusiasts offer to buy it from me along the way. For a 32 year old car it drove like a DREAM, I never had any major issue with it and others were offen amazed at how well it ran.I ended up putting less than $1,000 of work into the car and put 10,000 miles on it over the next 9 months. I never had to replace the brake pads. In July of this year I moved abroad so I sold the car for $6,000, more than double what I bought it for, and less than what I had offers for on the road.When I look back at this experience at Botto, I see mechanics attempting to take advantage of and scare a young woman they can see doesnt know the value of the car she just bought. Whether they thought they might get me to sell the car to them for cheap, or just wanted me to feel like I was out of my league in what I was about to embark on, Im still not sure. I thank them now for motivating me to learn how to take care of my car myself, and am glad I didnt let them intimidate me out an amazing adventure and learning experience with an incredible old car.Shop mechanics carefully, get second opinions, and research your issues before you pay someone to do anything! That being said, there are honest mechanics out there, but these guys arent among them.

This shop knows what there doing. They fix the problem right the first time. I have been using BOTTA for 3 years now and could not be happier. My 2003 BMW 5 series runs like new, thanks to Casey & his crew. Just had my car in for a coolant problem. Had me back on the road the next day. try BOTTA out, they are fantastic.
