This is actually a pretty legitimate bookstore in its own right. I first came in here a few times to return Amazon items that I had ordered online, but I recently went in with my son to get some childrens books, and I was really impressed with the size of their selection. Its not quite as large as the old fashioned Barnes & Noble bookstores, but if you look past the first wall of misc display items, theres a whole series of rows of shelves of books sorted by topic. The prices are even better for Amazon prime members.

Went here to get my palm scanned for the Amazon One function. You can use your palm as an ID, especially for concerts etc. Im going to Red Rocks and its used there!They had some cool, weird deals as well. Not just a book store, but a little touch of amazon too - complete with cookware and gifts. 10/10 would go again. 9/10 because sometimes the app has better app-only deals. 10/10 for actually being able to go into an Amazon store.Jeff who?

Dropped by for the first time. Had no idea about the closing time. Browsed for a while and grabbed a few books. Service was impeccable.They closed the doors but let us browse around without ever mentioning that they were closed or hurrying us. Realized at checkout that they were actually closed and there was no one else in the store. Staff was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the layout and where certain books were. Fun Fact : Harry Potter books can be found at the back of the store, Childrens section, ages 9-12.Browsing and checkout experience was very smooth as well. Pricing is consistent between store and website. Would recommend the store if u want to look and feel the books before buying or even for browsing.

This is a great bookstore. It is good that they sell all of the Amazon branded electronics (FireTV, Alexa, Dot, Tablets, Kindle, etc.) here. You can also buy some Amazon Basics items here too. They even have comfortable chairs for you to browse your books before you buy them. What a great idea!!

Had some pretty amazing and knowledgeable staff on my most recent visit. Good recommendations and very helpful. I do love this store and appreciate a brick & mortar book store still where you can get a bit more personalized recommendations & service.

Amazon only in a physical space. I love that books are shown facing the user, instead of just seeing the side of it.Since its Amazon, the store is focused on showing you whats available and recommendations of things you may like, rather than other book stores that also have to carry all the books and it feels like digging through piles to find something.Also, Amazon Prime members pay the same price online and offline!

Book selection was a bit low but a pleasant shop in general.

Could use one or two more people walking around trying to help, but other than that its a good establishment with lots of good books. This being said, i have to suggest locally owned book stores. Amazon is already a billionaire company. Support powells, your local library, etc before amazon, in my opinion.

Its nice to have a bookstore here. They have all the books facing with the cover outward, so they dont have as big of a selection as they could, which is a bit of a let down. It is nice that you can return some amazon products here, rather than having to ship them through UPS.

I can’t praise Jo at the Washington Square store enough.She helped me choose and set up a new Kendall and spent an hour very patiently dealing with the problems of setting it up with my account, phone and WiFi. She’s very knowledgeable and helpful/patient with a very senior citizen. Give that woman a promotion and a big raise. Thank you, Jo.

I was doing last minute Christmas shopping at Washington Square Mall..I had been in other stores looking for some kind of charger or gadget for my son and his wife...Lucky for me I walked into the Amazon bookstore and this very nice Lady named Denise asked me if I needed assistance. I told her what I was sort of looking for..She listened patiently,gave me options and suggested if I had heard of an Echo show smart speaker.She showed me the features like the weather,music genres,cooking and baking recipes reminder settings etc....I was impressed I had to have it.I automatically knew my son and his wife would enjoy this type of gift!..In the process she also asked me if I needed a stand but also asked me if I needed anything else with it.So I did asked what else could I add to this specific gadget and I was grateful she did show me I could buy it with a Blink mini camera,Life light and a smart plug as a kit...and it was totally still under my budget saving myself about $60s!!!All I gotta say is Thank you Denise;) for taking your time and your product knowledge goes perfectly well with your Beautiful Personality....Thanks Amazon books in Tigard Oregon👍

This is a great store with a lot of really great deals. Not just a bookstore. It also carries so of Amazons most popular items like Echo products.

Love visiting the Amazon book store. I had a return and it was quick and efficient. The kids love browsing the books in kids section.

Nice and comfy, but no adventure section. Hard to navigate for new comers or if I want to get into reading. But I felt comfortable and curious inside.

Handy to pick up a gadget, book, smart thingies, or whatever semi-random items are present when youre there. Payment by Amazon-linked plastic only, so unaffiliated payment methods are void. Gotta make sure you get the Prime price where applicable, because it can be a notable savings. In a couple transactions, I had to point out that it was missed. Be aware.

From the moment I entered the store, I was greeted by a friendly associate, who helped direct to the front counter. The next associate was also very friendly and helpful in processing my return. The experience was quick, easy and organized. Definitely the best in-store return process Ive experienced!

Staff are good service

I absolutely love going to the Amazon bookstore! It has all the joy of a brick and mortar store with the prices of Amazon Prime. Its incredibly satisfying to browse through the rows of books and once youve found a few, scan the barcodes and see that Prime Price. They are set up similar to a Barnes and Noble (Though not as big). Definitely a place we always make a point of visiting when we are at the mall.

Didnt purchase a book, so cant comment on the selection there. However, the customer service was amazing! I was visiting the store to make a return (bought online from Amazon). The young lady that helped was very professional, friendly, and fast. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes! Very impressed!

Quiet with comfy chairs. Associates are available for help without being pushy. Great selection, & of course - love our Prime discount.

Its a book store I prefer barnes and nobles still..

I am not much of a book reader but I love playing with the tech that they have on display. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter was looking for a textbook but they dont sell text books. The store is very clean and well stocked.

Do not accept cash. Waited in a long line not knowing this because they dont bother to post it. The woman at the counter said we try to simulate the online experience. Maybe I came into the store because I dont like the online experience, ever think of that?

Everyone here is so nice every time I’ve been in. They have such a wide selection of items. Most of all they make returns for your items bought on amazon so simple and fast. It’s honestly shocking how painless it is.

Amazing discounts... Completely different market then the rest of the shopping mall. Amazon stocks the book and product inventory based on market demand, so very interesting assortment of items to buy at current internet low price. Worth checking out if looking for a gift and something new...

Interesting store concept. It was a bit novel for me because we dont have these on the east coast. If you are a prime member, your prime member pricing is honored here.

Its what shopping needs to be. More about the customer experience than glitz and glamour to specific demographics. They have a good mix of tech and print material for sale, and its always a great experience when I visit.

Associates were very helpful with me processing my order return. My first time in an Amazon bookstore. Not to much different from most other bookstores, except no prices on the books. You take if to a scanner that will reveal the price. An interesting approach.

I needed to return an item, which Ive never had to do before with Amazon. The employee tht helped me was Carlos, he was so helpful and efficient. Im not very tech savy but he was patient with me. Now I know how to do a return claim on my phone thanks to him.

Had a lot of titles that you can get off of Amazon anyway. The selection was limited to their best sellers so if youre looking for a niche title your likely out of luck.

This is the best book store around the Portland area. If you cant find it, they can get it. They also have tablets and smartphones, games and puzzles. Almost anything for your viewing pleasure.

This little shop is just a gimmick. Theres really no reason for it to exist unless you REALLY want to handle a kindle before you buy it. Otherwise its a waste of space. The selection is way too small to really be a bookstore. The items that it does have a the more expensive choicesThe electronics section is so small it may as well not be there, and since it has Amazons dynamic pricing nothing has an price on it, just a bar code, so you have to scan it with your phone, which completely defeats the purpose of browsing. Finally just left because I want interested in anything enough to have to stop and scan every item I wanted to know about. They could have done so much more with this and instead it was a total miss.

Good idea but small store

This is the first Amazon book store I ever visited. Its unique and corky. Many top selling books were present there. Just one gripe is that you need to install their app to view pricing, or there was one price scanner on the other side of the store.

I absolutely love coming to this store. They have great books and you can see a rating of each book as well. It makes book shopping so easy and so awesome!
