A colleague had told me she had the best dress shopping experience at The White Dress even though she didn’t find her ultimate dress there, so I decided to give it a chance, even though what I thought I was looking for was impossible to actually find on the rack. Genna was warm, kind, and genuinely friendly, helped me refine my vision, and the first dress I chose was the one that made me say “Wow!” (though she patiently helped me try on many more just to make sure). Genna was gently encouraging of the feeling of seeing myself in a dress that fit my vision, without a sales pressure vibe. I believe she is not just selling dresses, but helping women find their self-esteem to pull off wearing a dress beyond their dreams. Oh and the shop is lovely, and because champagne before noon.

I am not the girl that dreamt of her wedding since she was little. I am not the woman who knows how to walk effortlessly in heels. I am not the type of person who craves all eyes on me when I walk into a room. Recipe for a tough bridal appointment? Yup. This was my third bridal shop/attempt to find a dress and I vividly remember saying “I’m not going to find anything today, I’m not buying anything” but the universe had other plans. Enter, Tori. My lady knight in shining tool/crepe/whatever. She was sweet, comforting, not pushy, asked the right questions and made me feel SO comfortable the entire time. She helped me shop and hone in on the style and details that I love. At no point did I feel like I was bride-ing the wrong way, and I credit that to Tori. Additionally, Despite having a timeline for appointments I never felt rushed or pushed along. Tori either genuinely cares about her brides, or needs to quit her job and become an actress ;) she was great.The salon itself is beautiful too. Great lighting, beautiful selection, friendly employees. I could not have asked for anything more, and I will definitely be recommending the white dress to anyone and everyone who will listen to me.Thank you to Tori and the whole team for helping make the entire experience seamless, welcoming and memorable. She knew exactly what I wanted and helped my find specific things that I would want in a dress and helped me custom design the dress of my dreams! Im excited to try on the dress again in April!! Completely exceeded my expectations of wedding dress shopping. Brooke was AMAZING and made my experience so much fun. She asked me questions about my dream dress and details about my wedding as well. She pulled 5 dresses out of different varieties I had invisioned, and I ended up saying yes to the 2nd dress I tried on!! It was exactly what I was looking for and more. She even knew the perfect what vail to pair with it.Highly recommend coming here to get your perfect dress.

I went here because my sister had such a great experience a few years ago. The rooms are private and spacious. The staff really pays attention to what you like. The dress I ended up picking was actually initially picked out by Mariel who was helping me. The prices are very reasonable and they make everything very easy. I would recommend the white dress to my friends who get engaged in the future.

Cannot say enough good things about The White Dress!! This was the best experience looking for a dress that I couldve imagined. Not only do they have a really quality selection of dresses, everyone we interacted with was so friendly and excited for me. I worked with Sherry specifically and had the best time. I came in with an idea of what I thought I wanted, so she pulled dresses along those lines and pulled some she knew would look good based off of our interaction. I ended up finding my dream dress!! Sherry helped me feel so beautiful and like I was the only bride in the store. It was so personal and intimate. Highly recommend The White Dress! The shop has such a fun and relaxed atmosphere and all of the employees were so nice. I really appreciated the private bridal suites plus champagne to celebrate the occasion. Genna was my consultant and she was amazing. She listened to my vision and let me look through their inventory of dresses and pick my favorites. She ended up picking out my dress and I said “yes to the dress” in the first round! Kudos to her for knowing exactly what I wanted and finding it for me! She was even patient enough to put me back in the dress several times so that I could get the perfect picture to share with family back home. Overall the experience was so personable and I can’t wait to return when my dress arrives!

Sherry was my bridal consultant and she was absolutely AMAZING! She helped my find my perfect dress and was so excited and upbeat throughout the entire process. When I arrived at my appointment, I had already been to two other shops that day. Sherry still was extremely enthusiastic and ready to help even though she knew that I already had another dress in mind! I appreciate how helpful she was and she explained everything well when it came to any questions I had. There were a few things I customized on my dress and she made it really easy to pick and choose the things that I wanted! She made the experience a wonderful one!

The white dress was absolutely a wonderful place! With being a first timer absolutely happy we picked this place to be first! It a gorgeous, friendly, comfortable environment. My stylist ( Tori ) was absolutely amazing! Tori knew exactly what we were going for with just a few words! Sadly during the appointment I couldn’t get myself to say yes But had gone to another appointment later that day and couldn’t stop thinking about the dress! Went down there the next morning and the girls were so understanding at the front desk. With the help of my lovely stylist and family I said yes to the dress! With the Tori was during the appointments just made it all more an amazing experience! Love the way she bought her self to the table and handling all of my families opinions to ❤️ Absolutely recommend this place and working with Tori ladies!!!

Selecting a wedding dress was something I was prepared for, but I had no idea I would have so much fun doing it! Brooklyn was the exact stylist that I needed to help me make this happy and important choice. She was so easy to work with, it felt like we were old friends shopping together! She created a complete ensemble once I selected MY dress, and seeing the completed look was exactly what I needed to make my decision. The White Dress exceeded my expectations in every way! They make you feel beautiful and comfortable from start to end. Being plus-size, shopping for clothes is the last thing I ever want to do, especially with other people. This place makes you feel amazing and lets you try on everything and anything no matter your size. Even dresses I was hesitant on trying on, they would make it work and I never felt uncomfortable. From the beginning Mariel took me privately to the front to pick out dresses I liked which was awesome, so I didn’t have the opinions of everyone I brought telling me what to try on. She was able to read the audience and me to determine what was peer pressure versus what I liked. She stayed within my budget and always kept the conversation going. I am so happy with my decision and would recommend the White Dress to anyone getting married.

My experience at The White Dress was an absolute dream. I researched a handful of places and looked at the kinds of dresses they had to offer and The White Dress by far was my favorite. I was kindly welcomed by the staff at the front when I walked in and was taken right to my private suite, which was beautiful. I went to The White Dress a few months ago to just look at wedding dresses. I was lucky enough to have Jenna as my stylist and she was able to pull amazing dresses that matched exactly what I was envisioning! This was my first time trying on wedding dresses, so I was excited but nervous, but Jenna talked with me the entire appointment and made this first time experience comfortable and fun. My two friends I brought along really enjoyed their time there as well. At the end of the appointment, I left with my dream dress! The team was very welcoming and they even provided seamstress recommendations and a little gift. Overall, the store was organized, clean, and beautiful. I cant wait to go back to The White Dress to pick up my wedding dress!

My bridal assistant was Brooklyn, she was very professional and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable in her care, and I felt like she was very honest with me about pricing/budget. I had a wonderful experience at the White Dress- I only wish the appointment was a little longer!

I love this place! Super cute, fun decor, and all the ladies are really welcoming! Brooklyn was the stylist assigned to me and she did a wonderful job. She listened to what I wanted and was super patient with me while I tried on dress after dress. I never felt rushed or pressured to just pick something and leave. She was really professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. And the free champagne is a nice perk! I chose to go to the White Dress because I had heard great things about it. They offer champagne or water while you wait, which was refreshing. I had the privilege of working with Mariel and she is AMAZING! I enjoyed my time finding my dream dress and she make the experience fun and completely stress free. My experience at The White Dress PDX was an absolute dream. First off I am not one to enjoy shopping in general, let alone a big item such as a WEDDING DRESS. I had been to other boutiques where my experience wasnt the best. I was worried about feeling pressured; being presented with too many options, and that those options would not fit my style; being pushed out of my budget; and overall not listened to and treated as a sale rather than a person. Let me tell you what, I could not have been more off base with my worries/expectations. Mariel was nothing short of fantastic. She took time to understand my style and vision for my wedding, ensured I stayed within my budget, and asked extremely thoughtful questions that ultimately helped me find the dress of my dreams. It was apparent she wanted me to find my perfect dress for one of my biggest days. I am immensely grateful for all her efforts, and I cannot recommend The White Dress PDX enough. This is where you want to be!

Brooklyn was amazing! I was able to reserve an appointment on the same day I called in and Brooklyn took her time helping me find the perfect dress. It was a wonderful experience start to finish. The White Dress is a great place to go for wedding dress shopping. The individual rooms are spacious with plenty of seating for your group. My stylist was incredibly upbeat and helpful. I had actually found a dress at another store just before my appointment. I was upfront with my stylist about having one-to-beat, and she did a great job coming up with different styles that I liked. Ultimately I went back for the other dress, but Im glad I kept my appointment at The White Dress. Knocked off one star because the perfume smell in the store was a bit overwhelming.

I was concerned that I was never going to find a dress that I liked, luckily Tori was able to help me find The One. She was knowledgeable and attentive. She was very good at making me, and my dress shopping crew, comfortable and welcome. As for the store- There was a wide selection of dresses, and large dressing rooms with seating for your entourage. If I could give six stars, I would. My stylist Genna must be a mind reader because she found my perfect dress in about 40 seconds!! I also felt like we were the only people in the boutique. I went to this boutique with my mom and sister to find a dress. We worked with Genna Layne who was our stylist. I didnt really know what I wanted, and she did a great job of having me try on many different looks and styles. She was super receptive to feedback and would change up the dresses she pulled based on our comments. We are very picky people and she did an amazing job. She ultimately found a gorgeous dress that I really loved and I am so psyched to wear it for my wedding. She made the whole experience really fun and we had a great time.

So I got my dress in September, I know its been a bit. I want to start by saying the experience here was great!! Dresses are beautiful! Staff is amazing and friendly!! They want you to find the right dress! Mariel helped me find my dress! She was amazing and friendly!! She helped pick out dresses and change into them. After trying on a few dresses, I found the one! They have you put the dress back on with a veil and bouquet. They get you set up in the hallway with a big mirror so you can vision your wedding with your soon to be ahead. It was a great experience and Im grateful for my friend telling me about this place!! Mariel gave me suggestions about alterations on the dress, Im so excited to take that suggestion..my dress will be perfect! Thank you ladies at The White Dress PTown location!!! All I can say is WOW! Shoutout to Mariel at the White Dress. She made my wedding dress shopping experience so so special - she was incredibly kind, interested, and PATIENT with me. I went into the session not knowing at all what I wanted. Mariel made it clear that was NOT a problem at all. She allowed me to try on any and all styles - I even got to go out on the floor with her to pick dresses. And by the end of the session, I found my dream dress!! I was shocked! All in all, I could not recommend Mariel more - shes incredible!

I had the most amazing, and welcoming experience at The White Dress. I had the pleasure of working with Carly. Carly was so sweet, caring and made the entire experience amazing. I went in with low self esteem, and she made me feel so comfortable/ beautiful. I had my mind set on a bohemian style dress and Carly picked out dresses to fit my vision. Turns out, that type of style I didn’t love on me, and suggested I try a more fitting dress. I wasn’t for it at first, but decided why not and to trust her. Turns out she knows what she is doing. I shortly said YES TO THE DRESS!! My apt was set for only an hour and we went way over. Carly never made me feel stressed or rushed. If you are booking an apt request Carly she won’t let you down!!

This place is one I highly recommend. Genna was my stylist and I absolutely loved her and would tell everyone to go to her. She was so knowledgeable in all the dresses and really got to know you during the process. She made my experience so fun and my family loved working with her as well. This shop gets 10 stars in my book.

I had a fantastic time, especially working with Jen! I came in with my mom and sister (who all have much stronger opinions than I do), and Jen helped me pick out a beautiful dress that fit exactly what I wanted but also what my mom and sister liked as well! She knew exactly what she was doing and was patient and flexible throughout the process :) Also, the private dressing rooms were so nice and set the mood very well for a comfortable experience.

Mariel at The White Dress gave me the best experience out of my different dress shopping trips. She was kind, funny, and extremely helpful while I was trying to pick out my perfect dress. She made the experience extremely pleasant and memorable- and also helped me try on dresses that initially were out of my comfort zone- but I ended up getting one of them!One thing that caught me a little off guard was that she was giving me the prices AFTER the 15% off was already taken off- which I did not realize until the end.But all in all, in was an incredible experience and I highly recommend Mariel!

My experience at The White Dress exceeded my expectations. Genna was my stylist and she was so kind and patient. She really listened to what kind of dress I wanted during our consultation. There was no time wasted and I was immediately taken to pick out dresses together. They were neatly organized by style and the dresses were in beautiful condition. We had a private bridal suite and the dressing room is separate from where your guests are sitting. I did not feel rushed during the appointment or pressured to buy a dress on the spot. However, I did say yes to the dress! I also forgot my Apple Watch in the dressing room and they called to let me know they will have a staff member wait for me to pick it up even though it was shortly after closing. The champagne during the appointment was a plus. :)

My in-store experience in late February was great. The store is beautiful, clean, and totally picturesque, and the selection of dresses was great. Carly helped me during my appointment and was so encouraging and helpful. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and overall super sweet. My friends and family that came with me had a great time and the experience was really positive.Once I chose my dress and paid for the first half, the woman helping me, the manager at the time who has since left (Carly), told me she would call me with multiple updates and when the dress shipped, and then when it arrived. She promised me that the dress would be delivered by the end of June. Because I live out of state she was aware that I would need to fly to pick up my dress and make travel plans ahead of time in order to make the window in which the dress was meant to be delivered. I wound up having to call 9-10 times because no one reached out to me at any point in the last four months (excluding when I left voicemails and requested that someone call me back). Each time I called I was given outdated information (that my dress would arrive only three weeks before my wedding) and I would have to ask each person to look further into the notes on my dress. One of the more recent times I called I was told (after being told the wrong information first) that my dress would arrive in the next five days and that they would call me and update me on the projected arrival. I never even got a call that it had shipped. And no one called in the next five days as promised. When I called six days later, I spoke to the new manager and she also gave me the wrong information. When I let her know what had been going on she apologized but kept saying there was no paper trail. Which couldn’t have been possible since every single time I called, after being given the wrong delivery date, each person would look further into the notes and confirm what I had originally been told would be the delivery date. The new manager apologized a lot but it didn’t feel like she took any responsibility for the last four months and kept phrasing it as me “misunderstanding” or just a “miscommunication” when the reality was there was no communication on their part whatsoever.Having to call this many times and deal with different people each time was the last thing I needed on top of all the stress that comes with planning your own wedding. Because of the total lack of communication, I probably wouldn’t recommend the White Dress. Worrying about where your dress is and when it’s coming is the last thing any bride wants.Changed my review from two stars to one star given the response from the White Dress to my original review. Im shocked by the complete lack of ownership for this many screw ups. If I had known how this entire process would be handled I would never have chosen the White Dress, I regret not listening to friends and family that told me not to go there. Will not be recommending the White Dress to anyone.

I 100% recommend this experience. Yes, I said experience. The people at The White Dress were so warm and welcoming. It truly felt as if I was surrounded by friends. This is coming from someone who was insanely nervous and unsure what to expect. I am not usually the center of attention so when it is all eyes on me I feel super rushed and that just simply did not happen here. I was encouraged to take my time and say my true thoughts. Not just buy the first thing I kinda liked and go. I tried on 7 dresses within my appointment time and I found the one that was just perfect for me. The way the store is set up feels exclusive and is easy to navigate as well.

I’m so glad that I decided to come here. Jenn helped and was truly so kind, thoughtful and fun to be around. She helped me find the perfect dress and I’m so thankful for that. She even sent a follow up thank you card which was very kind and wonderful customer service.As a side note they don’t allow children, including newborns due to covid 19. This isn’t posted on their website so we were disappointed when we found out since my sister couldn’t make the necessary preparations for child care. It would have been best to have been notified prior so that she could have enjoyed this experience with me.Overall if it weren’t for that miscommunication I would have given this store a higher rating.

I had a wonderful time at The White Dress and highly recommend it!! The staff were all very friendly and super encouraging in making sure YOU loved your dress and felt confident wearing it. Genna was my stylist and I absolutely loved her. She remained patient with all my picky requests and knew exactly what dresses to pick out.. eventually finding the ONE! She made sure I felt confident and felt my best wearing it. My favorite part of the process was walking down their aisle lined with body sized mirrors on either side and taking in the full experience of, this is my dress. I, and my mom, had the sweetest and most emotional time. We will never forget!

Natalie helped me find my perfect dress! She was by far the kindest, most positive, helpful person I had after going to 5 other dress shops beforehand! Their rooms are sooo private I couldn’t even hear the other parties that were there. And they even accommodated us by letting my (future)sister in law bring her 6 week old baby even though children aren’t allowed. It was such an amazing experience all together and I’m so thankful to both the owner and Natalie for making it such a positive experience.

As this was my 6th appointment, I knew that I definitely wanted a sheath dress with a train (fitted all the way down with no or very little flare in the front). My consultant didn’t seem like she was listening to what I wanted, or they just don’t have a lot of simpler sheath dresses in their store because she kept putting me in flared trumpet/ mermaid dresses. For my first dress, she put me in a trumpet dress with a lot of tulle at the bottom. I told her it was very pretty, but I’m not a big fan of tulle and want something more fitted at the bottom. She continued to put me in dresses that had flared tulle bottoms! After the 3rd or 4th dress, she went back to look for more dresses and my friend said “why does she keep putting you in the same style of dresses when you told her you don’t like that style”?? As I continued to turn down each dress, it just seemed like my consultant was getting more and more annoyed. She stopped asking me questions and hardly talked at the end. It had a very awkward vibe. Finally the last dress she brought in was actually what I was asking for! I don’t know why she didn’t grab that from the beginning, but I really liked it. Unlike the other bridal consultants, she didn’t offer to grab a veil, offer to bring me up to the front to see the dress in natural lighting (which I highly recommend you do), or flare out my train so I could see it better. The dressing areas felt very squished (she could hardly flare out the train because of the table and couch). I didn’t end up going with it, as I didn’t love it and was over it at that point. If you are looking for ball gowns, A-lines, or fit and flares, then this shop may be right for you, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for sheath or simpler styles. A couple positives: provided champagne to me and my friend (only shop that offered it), she provided me with a paper that had the dress’ style number and price, which I appreciated as some shops are weird about giving that info out, and parking was easy and there’s a couple inexpensive garage options nearby.

I had the best experience here. The staff was so friendly and welcoming!Mariel, my stylist, too the time to get to know myself and the guests I brought with me. She was invested in my and making sure I found the perfect dress. In the end, I said yes to the dress! She made my experience amazing, and made me feel comfortable during the whole experience.

I had the most AMAZING stylist Carly Johnson!! I can’t say enough good things about her. She truly gets to know you and spends the time to understand your style. I found my dream dress and veil thanks to her!! Such amazing customer service and so many happy tears!! Thank you Carly for the best experience. 10/10 recommend!!

Highly recommend this shop if you are looking to find your dress in an incredible environment. I honestly was so nervous to go dress shopping but my stylist, Carly, really helped calmed my nerves. Plus I found my dream dress! Throughout the whole process I really felt that what I liked was what was taken into account, but at the same time amazing suggestions were made as well. I never felt pressured to purchase that day, which was huge to me. I actually I came back a week later so that I could think on it and then purchase my dress. Overall, this was a beautiful shop with wonderful welcoming people. Highly recommend Carly, she was so helpful and sweet!

My dress shopping experience at the White Dress exceeded all of my expectations. Genna is the sweetest stylist and we clicked from the moment I met her. Not to mention that she is so dang good at her job. I didnt really know what I was looking for when I came in but we browsed together and she immediately picked up on the styles I was drawn toward. Soon enough, I had more than a dozen choices that I loved and a top three that was almost impossible to choose between. She kept me laughing and anxiety-free throughout all of the try-ons and she was a wizard with the clips so that I could get a really good idea of how the gowns would fit me after being altered. My mom, future MIL, and bridesmaids enjoyed champagne in our private bridal suite while I modeled different dresses for them and - truly - everyone had a great time. The moment I said yes! to the dress was extra special, and I left the shop feeling confident, relaxed, and with a very full heart. I cant recommend Genna, her amazing team, and The White Dress Bridal Boutique in Portland enough!

I found wedding dress shopping to be miserable- at no fault to any of the dress shops I visited. It is such a huge decision and envisioning all the changes and how the dress will actually look when it fits correctly is miserable. The White Dress had an INCREDIBLE selection of beautiful dresses, in all price ranges, and all styles- there is truly something for everyone here. The women I worked with no longer works there which is ok because she was rather pushy. I felt very rushed to make a decision. I came back the next day and got my dress but still with hesitation. Where the White Dress really won my appreciation was in how they handled issues with customizing my dress with the designer. I wanted an extended train and there was a lot of back and forth in not being able to do it. The owner of the shop and her team worked it out and I got my dream dress!

When booking my appointment, staff were very friendly and helpful on the phone. Loved this place! I found my wedding dress after trying on just three dresses. They brought in some great dresses to try on and were easy to work with. They also brought out champagne and had a nice room for our guests to sit in and watch as I tried on dresses!

I had the BEST experience here! I had two unsuccessful appointments prior to coming to The White Dress, so I didn’t have the highest expectations going into it. However, Natalie totally blew me away! She knew exactly what would work for me, and she was so helpful and caring throughout the entire appointment. She even ended up recommending a dress that I never would have selected myself, and it was The One!! You can tell she knows what she’s doing and really enjoys her work. I was able to bring my mom and bridesmaids, too! They give you a private suite and champagne as well! My stylist was Genna and she is AMAZING! I had the BEST experience at the white dress Bridal Boutique! My stylist was Natalie and she was honestly so nice and super helpful! I felt very comfortable and welcomed at this boutique. I had bad experiences at other bridal boutiques and was a little concerned that I wouldnt be able to find THE dress in time. Natalie suggested that maybe I was not choosing the Right style of dress and that was the reason why I couldnt find the one. She was absolutely right! I had such a great experience at The White Dress. I went in already knowing what style I thought would be perfect for me but Mariel helped me try on a few different styles just to be sure. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She listened to what I said and helped me find the perfect dress. We had a private bridal suite which made it very easy to face time family who weren’t able to make it.

I found them on Instagram and at first I wanted to go for their Annual wedding dress sale they were having in December. I walked in and was greeted by EVERYONE! I wasn’t expecting to walk out with a wedding dress that day but Carly was amazing at meeting my needs and wants! It took my wedding dress 7 months to be done; that was fast!! When I went to go in to pick up my wedding dress I was in tears of how beautiful my dress turned out and I am glad that Carly found the perfect dress for me and my special moment! Overall, it was affordable and you have LOTS to choose from so don’t worry!

Update: I was contacted and informed that the length I ordered will no longer be provided as an option to avoid this issue for any future brides.I hesitated to write this review but after finally having my first alteration appointment and seeing the shock on my seamstress’ face, I feel like others deserve the opportunity to learn from my experience. I was measured three times by Amanda and convinced that by going with a short length vs. standard, I would save on alterations and it would allow me to wear a 2-2.5” heel. Well, the dress arrived and when I put it on expecting to fall back in love, the front didn’t even touch the ground without any shoes on. It took everything I had not cry in that moment. Carly tried to convince me that was the style, so you could show off your shoes, but I quickly found the dress on the designer’s website and saw that was not the case. They were kind enough to cover the cost of the extra fabric needed, but now I’m struggling to find shoes and spending hundreds on alterations after I already spent double my budget on what was supposed to be my dream dress. Unless you are extremely short DO NOT order anything other than the standard length!

Absolutely loved this boutique. It was the 3rd place I visited and I was holding out for the perfect dress. After 6 hours of going between 2 different dresses I picked a beautiful stella York gown and know I picked the right one. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at The White Dress. My party and I were greeted at the door, everyone was very friendly. The store is decorated beautifully and very clean. We were taken to our very own semi-private dressing room area. This consists of a smaller (walk-in closet size) room with a curtain for the bride to get dressed in and a larger room with a comfy couch, chairs, coffee table, and short platform in front of a mirror covering one wall. This room is open to the hallway, but feels private. We were offered complimentary champagne or water. Carly soon came in and introduced herself as my stylist for the day. We chatted about what I was looking for, I showed her a few pictures, and then her and I headed to the showroom to pick out dresses. They have a large selection of all styles of dresses, with plus sizes available as well. Carly pulled out dresses that fit my requests. She was very knowledgeable of the inventory. As we began trying on dresses she put me right at ease. As a plus size bride I was very self conscious going into this appointment, but Carly was friendly, so sweet, and made me feel comfortable right away. There are no mirrors in the changing area, so you see the dress for the first time with your entourage which is fun. I told Carly what I did and didn’t like about each dress. She listens carefully and after a couple dresses she began going back to the showroom and pulling dresses as our direction changed. I ended up choosing a very different dress from what I originally planned. I went in very open to trying different styles, and willing to trust my stylist’s expertise. I think this paid off as Carly chose a style that was much more flattering than what I was originally looking for. I had the sweet and emotional moment of realization as I found my dress. Carly was genuinely excited for me. She helped me try on a couple veils to see what I liked, then began measuring me. I went shopping in October of 2020, and my dress will be in later this month (April 2021.) Carly provided a list of a few alteration shops they recommend and advised me to book my appointment as soon as possible. The next week I received a hand written thank you card in the mail from Carly, she truly made this such a wonderful and memorable experience.

Right when you come in, they get you taken care of and give you some champagne when you wait. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, but my stylist, Mariel, was the absolute best! She never pushed me on what kind of wedding dresses I should try. Gave me time to think about whether or not this was the dress. And on top of that, she was there working her butt off putting the dresses on me. This was my third bridal shop I went to and I did not get that yes this is the dress moment until I finally put on a dress I did not even think I would like. You get a private room with your people and there’s even a hallway where you can walk down to see how you would look in action. Love The White Dress. Highly recommend it to everyone

I was very satisfied shopping at The White Dress in Downtown Portland. I went in with a broken leg and the staff there was very accommodating. Natalie was very kind and helpful. She listened to my wants in a dress and she came out with the most beautiful dresses for me to try on. After listening to me explain my vision, she brought me a Martina Liana gown to try on and it ended up being the perfect dress and in budget.
