I loved the low pressure shopping at Simple Floors. I was able to get a couple of samples ordered from out of town. This took several days but I was forewarned about this. Ivan came out fairly quickly to give me a bid. It took several days to get the bid but it was very detailed and clear. Once I made up my mind and placed my order I was glad that I was not in a hurry. It took a couple of weeks to get on their schedule and that appointment was another 10 days out. They showed up on time and worked fairly quickly. The quality of the installation is very good. Cut precisely into existing window trim that reaches down to the floor. The young installer did not do so well on the rubber cove base in the bathroom. Clearly he is much more used to working with wood trim on which he did excellent work. When I factor in the cost of reinstalling the toilet and gas line to the stove the price was not the great deal I thought I was getting but still a very good deal.My floors are gorgeous!

I worked with Seth to get vinyl flooring for my reno at my current house a year ago. Seth is very amazing, with great patience, people skills and wisdom with flooring! I did not get pressured at all and he was very chill. I had lots of questions and I ended up getting the Evoke Spark Becky Oak. It was on the cheaper side which is what I was willing to pay for. For $700 sq feet I paid 1684 ish. I had to pick it up because I live in Tillamook. The only issue I had was that it shows scratches a little but its probably because I got the cheaper style for 2.38 per sq foot. When putting my heavy appliances back in I scratched the floor a little and sometimes my chairs sliding causes scratches. Its not a huge deal but just sharing for your FYI. Overall a wonderful experience with Seth and I will be ordering again for our new house! Also picking things up was a great experience as well as the warehouse folks were incredibly kind and helpful! We were very happy with Simple Floors. John helped us every step of the way, even being the vents to our home a couple days before the floor was installed. The installing crew did an excellent job and completed the work in one day so we had minimum disruption. The floor looks beautiful.

Completed ghosted us.We were looking to replace the floors in our new home, after calling around town and reading reviews and landed on Simple Floors. We went into the shop and selected a floor. The staff was very helpful and felt confident they would be able to do this job for us. They came out to measure and take a look at the home. Again, very helpful and nice (though about 20min late to our appointment).They said they would write up the estimate and send it over the next day. A day goes by, nothing. We wait until Monday, nothing. We call and they are helping another customer and ask for us to leave a message. The next day nothing. We send an email. We call again. No answer.Ive never felt like I had to work so hard to give a business money. Especially in this economy. Not sure why Simple Floors decided to just completely ghost us on this 800 sq ft job — with no contact or explanation.Waste of time and energy. Beware. I would recommend anyone else.EDIT:In response to the owner below — no, I dont understand how not one of the numerous emails and phone calls have gone unanswered for over a week and a half. Your team was very responsive in the beginning, and then just completely stops all communication? This was my second time using Simple Floors in the past year. I decided to use the Simple Floors Installation Service for this home. Roman with Portland Hardwoods is an absolute PRO. Roman was at my home each morning to ensure 100% satisfaction. At the end of the job Roman and I completed a walk thru and found a few minor issues. Within two hours the issues were fixed!! Once again I had an amazing experience with Simple Floors. Cant wait for the next project!

I loved my experience with Simple Floors and extra thanks to John Roberts who could not have been more helpful, understanding, knowledgeable and responsive. Originally, the floor I picked out was out-of-stock but we got a great option set up and even had custom baseboards made that Im getting lots of compliments on. Everything was at a reasonable price, on-time and of excellent quality. The only negative experience I had was the installers put a small dent and 2 scratches in my otherwise pristine gutter while backing up the truck and failed to mention it. Even when I brought the issue up and sent pictures I received no follow-up reply. Resolution and/or compensation would be nice...still waiting.

David was a pleasure to work with. Initially I spoke with him via email and trying to decide what kind of lvt flooring to purchase. He was extremely helpful and sent me pricing and suggestions. Someone came out to measure and I finally went into the store to make my final flooring choice. David spent a patient hour and a half with me going over various options. I had something in my head that I was interested in but just couldnt pinpoint it. He showed me floor after floor after floor and gave his honest opinion based on my interest. I appreciate that versus someone telling me it depends on what I like. He explained things thoroughly answered my million questions. He set up installation quickly he managed the whole process. The installation team was great. When extra prep was required and plywood was needed, David called around to get the best pricing. They finish the floors in 2 days I had my living room hallway and bathroom carpet replaced with lvt. The price of the flooring and installation was very fair. I have a year warranty and if there is anything that comes up during that time all I need to do is call the company and theyll send set installers right out. I chose this company based on their excellent reviews and I can see why others recommended them. I ki will definitely use this company again when I do other projects.

There were 2 employees sitting at desks working on something.I was shown where they display vinyl and carpet samples and told that nothing was priced. I was informed I would have to inquire about an item to get a price. The salesman then said to let him know if I needed anything and went back to his desk. It was at that point that I left.I didnt go to a store to place an order. I went to the store to be sold the products they offer. I wanted, and did not receive, any flooring expertise to allow me to make a purchase. In my opinion the person I talked with was an order taker and not a sales person.I dont spend my hard earned money with a company thats not willing to work for it.

I was in the market to replace almost all the floors in my house. I ended up at Simple Floors because of previous positive reviews.My experience in terms of selection assistance and installation was very good. I found Jeremy to be very helpful in terms of understanding what I liked and being able to narrow down the field of flooring and carpet.In the end I had them install all the upstairs carpet and it looks beautiful. The installers contacted me the day before and arrived on time the next day. They were done in one day although we allowed for 2 days if needed. I was not at the house when they did the work but the upstairs was left in good ship.I ended up using another small company to install my wood floors.That had to do with the wood this company offered and how they installed the flooring, which I preferred. I dont fault Simple Floors, who was super helpful throughout the process.

This week, replacement of hallway wall-to-wall carpet with unfinished hardwood (red oak) was done in 1-day less than anticipated. We could not be more pleased with the end result. The new hardwood had to abut the entry foyers red oak hardwood installed when the house was built more than 20-years ago. The match is very close and will get even closer as time goes by (actual difference is not glaring). The installers (Roman & NIck) were meticulous, cordial and informative and could not have done nicer work. Just purchased over 800 ft.² of engineered hardwood flooring. Ive looked around and have used other vendors but the prices seem to be very good especially when you get a discount when buying a pallet or more. Sales staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Simple Floors was hired for several job types pertaining to the remolding of vacation rentals including floors, bathrooms and kitchenettes. Up until this point, most materials used were purchased or ordered though local home improvement stores. The staff was courteous as each selection was carefully considered to match the theme of each unit. We are happy with the final results and confident the work will hold up to the everyday wear and tear.

After picking out the hardwood floor we were told it was back ordered. So we waited. When our order came in they would deliver it for another 250 dollars. So we rented a truck. We had our installer place the flooring and found out they figured out the squarfootage wrong. So we had three extra boxes of flooring and a whole roll of acoustic left over. We called to have it returned and they told us they would take it back but we would only get half of our money back. The other 50% was a supposed restocking fee. Not to mention we had to find a way to bring the product back. They didnt ship the transition pieces. After getting those they were wrong. Asked them about flush mount vent covers. They said no problem. Then they said it couldnt be done after the floor was down and if we wanted the wood floor vents they would have to make them for another 200 dollars. The people were rude. Never tried to make anything right. My suggestion is to shop anywhere else. Start with someone who is nice and knowledgeable. That being said you wont find any of that at this store!

We recently did a remodel on our home to add a utility room, bathroom and new dining room area. We needed to match the existing Cali Bamboo that we originally purchased at Lowes and add vinyl click flooring to the utility and bathroom. Coretec was our choice for the vinyl and it looks great. The color is perfect!We worked with Misty and Portland Hardwoods and could not be happier with the results!They were able to beat Lowes on price on the bamboo and the installation was flexible and affordable! The flooring looks fantastic :) If we could give 6 stars, Simple Floors Portland would get it!

Simple Floors is the best flooring company I have ever used. We built a new workshop for our business and like a lot of people we went to home depot first. We checked out their selections. But when It came to it, the business just didn’t seem like they cared for us. That is when I was told about Simple Floors. From the very start, they created everything I needed at a very decent price. The friendly staff was with us from beginning to end. If I had a question, all I had to do was ask and they were more than eager to answer it for me. They made the process easier than I imagined. After we made our selection, the product came super quick and before we knew it we were scheduling our installation. The installers were just as friendly as their sales crew was. They talked about the dos and don’t with the type of flooring we chose. I can not express how happy I am with the outcome. This company blew my mind away with how amazing their product is and how customer centric they are. After it was all said and done, the floor still looks amazing. Our customers loved the new building. I’m happy we made the decision to take a chance with Simple floors because we were not disappointed. Simple Floors did a wonderful job with my bathroom, I hired them to replace the cabinets, do tile flooring, and install new fixtures. They did a fabulous job. My bathroom looks spectacular, like it belongs on Architectural Digest.
