Love there hospitality. They have a pickup area. Really good coffee. I accidentally forgot to take a picture of the coffee.

I rarely get their made drinks even though they are better than anyone else’s. I usually drink regular black coffee and buy the St. John’s whole bean bags of coffee. Really like this roast and bean although I’m pretty sure they changed it when they changed the name and packaging not long ago. The coffee used to be better in my opinion. Maybe they went with a cheaper bean for business saving reasons but I wish they didn’t have to if that is the case. I still buy it though because so far I haven’t found anything better than the St. John’s roast from Portland Coffee Roasters.

Fantastic and friendly service from the staff. We were here to start our coffee tour with Third Wave Coffee. We arrived straight from the airport and were famished. We ordered their vegan breakfast sandwich, the hash brown sandwich, vegan chocolate chip cookie, and their nitro cold-brewed chai. Although the staff was amazing, the facility was clean, and we even saw had a demonstration from the barista of their Endless Summer light roast pour-over, an origin from Ethiopia and Costa Rica; the reason I did not give it five stars was due to the food lacking in taste. The sandwiches were pre-made and only heated in the microwave. The Breakfast sandwich was more biscuit than anything. The vegan cookie was more sugar than taste. Other than that, a beautiful place serving good coffee. Definitely do try the nitro cold-brewed chai. That was unique for us to try as weve never been to a coffee shop that offers cold-brewed chai.

Very good coffee...strong and freshly roasted. Enjoy the walk-up window. Place is busy...not much else around area that was open due to Covid. Nice folks working there.

One day I really wanted coffee after a long stint without. Somehow I found Portland Coffee Roasters and so glad I did. I go about twice a week and right now I’ve been drinking the sorghum latte....so delish. Casey is great and remembers her customers. I can’t wait for covid to be done so I can actually go in and sit down with my coffee and a book.

Staff treated us so kindly. Makes me feel like I am back in Sacramento.

This is our daily spot...minus Sunday because they are closed :( great place to meet with a team or clients. They also have a fantastic event space. Staff has great attitudes and remember your orders. Big brand name small brand family vibe.

Super nice and cute baristas, we had pleasant a conversation as my drink was being made. I got a meadow tea latte, my cup is big so she added extra water. Such sweet hearts!!

Cozy Portland coffee shop. Friendly baristas creating delicious coffee and an assortment of eats. Very home-like feel without the pretentious attitudes of other chain coffee shops. No grande blah blah garbage here.Did I mention they have beer and wine too? Not just a morning hangout anymore :-)

Stopped in tonight after work to get some shelter while I waited for my wife. Great atmosphere and nice music selection. Lots of room for seating, as well as an attached seating area which makes a great event area for reservations. The variety is nice and the staff is attentive and quick to get you what you need. Convienient location, easy to access from multiple streets. Definitely make it a regular coffee joint if you pass by frequently.

I love it when the barista knows what Im asking when I ask about flavors of espresso. Thanks for having great tasting coffee and the effervescent water with espresso is always the best touch.

This place was great. One of the best lattes I have ever had. Also, the customer service was amazing. The baristas really take the time to engage each customer and treat you like a valued person.

Came in for a coconut latte at 7pm on Friday. I could not imagine it being a better experience. There was no wait for the coffee, I could choose any seat, and it was peacefully quiet. The lighting is relaxing. Portland Roasting is overall very easy on the eyes. The barista was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return and recommend this place for coffee.

Cool building and atmosphere but I didnt care for the dark roast coffee. Food was very limited in quantity available. Got the last one of the several items that were premade.

Great pour-over bar with myriad single origin options. I went with an Ethiopian, and the clarity was wonderful. The barista let the grounds bloom for just the right amount of time to ensure that the level of dissolution was appropriate, yielding a smooth, full-bodied beverage. I will definitely return.

Good coffee and comparable prices to other area coffee shops. There were plenty of seats and some food options. There seemed.to have plenty free street parking near by.

Got to visit this place on a day of sun. Their large windows open to bring in the cool air from the river. It was quite when I went in. I just could imagine all the table full of customers enjoying thier various drinks before hurrying off to work or the rest of their day.

This is a beautiful location with an open, sunny floorplan. Ive enjoyed working from the bar facing out on Sandy Blvd, watching Portland pass by as I write emails.The drip coffee is outstanding, and the baristas do a great job with the espresso beverages as well, working off a beautiful ModBar in-counter espresso setup.
