Charging $6 for a 5oz bag of kettle chips when you are located at the bottom of a low income building just seems wrong. The 5 extra minutes to fred Meyers ($2 there) is worth it at that rate which is really unfortunate because Id rather not support bigger companies but I cant afford those prices :(

I was fired for being a girl, I was the blonde girl with the makeup who was kind to everyone!! I know work at the pipes and tobacco store by gateway liquor if any of you only went there to visit me!!^^^ I dont know why people do this to get back at businesses after being fired for being lazy, and unprofessional. I am one of the regulars and I have been coming to this convenient store for years. Its on my way to work and I am just loving the new upgrades/changes coming at the store (especially the change of staff)! Yes, I remember this girl when I used to come in during the evenings...with her unprofessional appearance and lack of customer service. As soon as I would walk in there would be no greeting and she would always be on her phone. She does not even bother to look up from her phone when anyone enters. There were many times when I would have to wait for her to finish chatting with male customers to finally pay for my drink and snacks. As for being fired because shes a girl, I have been helped by Michelle, who is still working there. I do not see her being fired and shes a girl. I always felt that she thought of this place as her adultery ground so she can earn tips. She would take forever talking to guys whereas women she did not greet nor did she take the time to ask how their day was going. But whats even funnier is that she says it herself in the last line of her review, that if you just came to see me please come see me at another place...lol! How desperate is this Chick? Her review upsets me because the people who work there are very nice and the business is being taken care by someone who actually cares for the place (I know because I have talked to the new manager). They have turned this place around and are still making more changes. I finally feel like more girls and women have been coming because of the changes and I am happy to support this business.

Worst experience in a market ever. Guy told me i cant touch what Im buying and lost his mind when i used the debit machine because i wasnt 6ft away from the desk. Tried paying with a hundred dollar bill at first. Maybe get an employees whos not scared of a cold. 3/26/20 8:30 am. Some clerks have a tendency to bring thier probs to work...??!!! Not how I would let my employees stay on payroll. However, they have great prices and so I keep going back. Its also quite close to home so....2 outta 3 aint bad, right?

Rating is overall but if another cashier ever loses it when Im being rang up (I dont care what the excuse is) and throws my money everywhere...Im taking my money elsewhere.I work in customer service, as well...as a cook, so I cant ever fathom that kind of behavior being okay.Im going to continue to shop here, just maybe not as much...ya know, dont want to overwork the staff

This place is BAD ASS!• Friendly, normal, everyday people that work at Express Market.• They stock everything for everyone. Great low prices.• Ive never had anyone working there tell me they did know about something in their store & I ask a lot of off the wall or weird questions some times, lol!****Best part is the quarters, with out question or comments. :)~I still use a coin laundromat & when I need quarters I go to Express Market because the staff always have them on hand, have no problem giving them up & never once been rude or stuck up to me at all! Most places act like its such a burden or give ya the name of a bank that might be close by, even if its way past bank open hours. Other places cant seem to help them selfs but to hand you the quarters accompanied by that classic, unmistakeable eye roll immediately followed by their turning away to talk to someone else who matters & isnt invisible to them if they give them to you at all.Those kinda attitudes are never at Express Market .Express Market People Freaking Rock!Thank you Express Market for never being mean to me even when I was only there to get quarters or just walking by. I appreciate every one of your staff for always being polite & happy to help!You guys rock!

Its a great store I will me Charles&Rick its under to much stress and takes his iuess out on others just like I do but for the most Rick is a cool guy.sorry Rick wasnt trying to make trouble or piss you off,thanks to everyone who works there.

Everyone at this store is always so friendly and helpful. Ive got nothing but excellent service here and the prices are good too.

For the first time I must speak against to the store due to the clerk being rude and abusive to a customer. Unfortunately not all Clerks seem know that personal problems do not give them the right to take it out on customers.
