Weve been here countless times and everyone is always super nice from the check in staff to the landscaping material loaders. Its crazy how fast they move people through. Youll get here with a line 15 cars deep, and youll be up at the checkpoint within 5 minutes. Ive never had a bad experience. Nice work peeps!

Pretty well organized transfer station with weigh station so you pay by weight to drop off your big trash. This was the cheapest way for me to get rid of an entire house worth of linoleum flooring and wall to wall carpeting! Convenient to most of the Portland area. They close kind of early (3:30 PM).

In spite of it being a hot (86 today) dirty job the employees are always pleasant and helpful. I wasnt aware they closed at 3:30 today. We pulled in at 3:29 just as they were getting ready to close the gate.The attendant smiled and waived us in anyway. And I was pulling a trailer 🙂

It was easy to get rid of what I had. Price was higher than other places Ive been but overall Im satisfied

Twice now Ive asked for a Job name and the two minutes it takes to walk in and out theres no job name on it. Now they want to write it in and heres the thing if the IRS audits me and I show them that scanned file, they could reject everyone that has been filled in by pen. The dump I love, the lack of discipline is what bothers me. I know it doesnt matter to you but are you going to pay for me if I get audited, nope didnt think so.

I go here everyday. Kyle Strout is very friendly and helpful. I think this employee should get a raise.

Too small and extremely difficult to move around safely

Been visiting riverside recycling for years to dispose of brush and demo. New guy in the scale house is God awful. No personality, no greeting, and a confrontational vibe. Almost seemed like he wanted to start a fight. Terrible customer service skills.

First off I’m a contractor. I can’t stand places that don’t care about their customers. There’s 5” of mud covering the entire property you must walk through to dump stuff there. I nicely asked if they were planning to address the issue he said nope. Then I noticed a letter from mgmt that started “dear customers thanks for a great year we really appreciate you” followed up with “price increases” for customers. Their service and quality has gone down and prices go up. My company and many others are taking our business elsewhere.

Easy in easy out. Expensive, but its a dump in the city, so youre paying for convenience too. Cheaper if you sort everything out and pay separately instead of paying for bulk waste.

These guys do a great job. No contractor in the area could do anything without the hard-working people at Riverside. Theyre much appreciated.

Unfriendly rude one guy was swearing and complaining about other workers. My tax dollars pay for the subsidies I have a card and I receive absolutely no benefit as a Portland resident. I get charge for everything have to pay for trash bags and pay some of if not the highest taxes in Maine.Oxford Hills has better services - whoever cut this deal obviously had an inside angle and more likely than not profited while were paying the price.Corrupt and rude.
