I ordered a golf cart cover for my 1997 Yamaha G16 back on March 1, 2021; I received my cover the first week in April, with no instructions or parts breakdown list. This was just the beginning of a horrible experience with Clackamas Industries. Come to find out. They shipped me the wrong cover; After face timing with them to find this information out, it took a couple of days for them to get back ahold of me. Finally, I was able to contact them; the owner stated they would get this fixed ASAP. They had a couple of installs in my area the following week of April 12 through the 16th and would drop off my new cover while picking up the incorrect cover and help get the install process started, which they never showed up for or even called to let me know they werent going to make it. On April 23, 2021, I called for an update; the owner stated the fabric was on order and would be coming in that week, which it didnt. Still not hearing a word from them, by May 4, 2021, I reached out and was told again that the fabric was re-order should be here next Tuesday and ship to me that Thursday and sorry for the delay. On May 26, 2021, I reached out looking for an update, and to my surprise, no response from the owner. I finally reached someone at their front desk and was told my cover was being shipped out next the week of June 1, 2021. I even asked how they wanted me to go about returning the wrong cover, which they stated they would either pick up or email me a return label. Luckily, I disputed the charges with my bank and received my money back but barely made the deadline for that. Long story short, I wouldnt waste your time with a company that only cares about receiving the money and poor customer service.
They made us a beautiful full boat top with aft curtain, it took a little longer than anticipated but worth the wait. The price was very competitive. Great customer service and excellent communication.
Love the enclosure I got! Andria helped me pick out the perfect color and style for golf cart. I love the hard door look!
In a time when nothing seems quite right. This company does it right with quality and customer service! I ordered a golf cart cover, Andria was very responsive to all my questions. The design of this cover is first rate, the fit and finish is excellent. Junior did the install, he came all the way from Clackmas Oregon to Kent WA to do the install in my garage! He was efficient, informative and friendly. I’d recommend them to anyone. My cart looks great!
I absolutely love my enclosure! No wind or rain coming in, Nathan and andria were super friendly and helped me choose the perfect color and fabric. Would definitely recommend them.
The original transaction with Clackamas went okay...but they forgot the clun rain cover for the back of my cart and despite several calls and e-mail i still havent received the cover. Not happy at this point!!!
Another story about poor customer service. Apparently they are trying to set their kids up in business on other coast! They came to my house to measure my 2021 CC Onward in mid December. And we agreed that they would mgf the cover and I would pay when delivered and installed. Multiple messsges left - finally a call back from Andrea. They ordered the fabric - and she sent an invoice for payment which was more than the agreed upon price- but I paid it. Called again and LVM and called factory # - I requested tracking info. I got a story how her phone was lost and all the info lost - sorry I don’t really believe that nothing could be retrieved. Called both numbers today - sent a txt. Just wondering what the excuse will be this time. I’m 48 hours from contacting the CC company and disputing charge. It’s mid March - don’t need a cover this time of year :(UPDATE - it’s mid May and still no cart enclosure. I’ve heard EVERY excuse in the book- but no follow thruUnfortunately at this point they have drilled holes in my new cart - and I’m sure they are not going to replace those parts.ANOTHER UPDATE - mid September - still no cover! Nathan actually came to my location - further modifications were made to my cart - his SIL had totally botched his attempted installation - he reordered fabric and had it held. Gave me a timeline - and failed to do anything he promised. Legal Action to follow -
Where to begin.. I ordered my golf cart cover for my 2017 yamaha on Jan. 4 th, anticipating their website schedule of 6 to 10 days. I received it on Feb 20th.I hired someone to put it on who had already done 5 of this companys covers, but had not done one for a yamaha. Well, he called me and said it came with no instructions . I called the company and they said they hadnt made any instructions yet nor had they made an installation video for the yamaha cover. How can you sell a cover without any instructions !We decided that support would walk me and the installer through it via zoom. No one at the company knows how to do a zoom meeting ! So two hours later through talking and picture swapping we got it reasonably put together only to find out that the magnets that hold the doors closed were not installed.I am currently driving around with a bungee cord holding one door closed and holding the drivers side shut with my hand. I hope all my golf buddies ask me about the blue bungee cord strapped on my door.I paid 720 for the cover and 200 for the install.Update. : I received super Magnets after 3 emails and 10 days. Then found out they also didnt include door handles. These I got pretty quick thank to personal efforts of Adriana. Whom I am happy to take out of my contact list. Hope this helps someone avoid these guys.
