Great selection of Weber and Traeger grills. I went in looks for some Weber cleaning accessories, ended up getting a bunch of other cool things for our grill. There are a bunch of other seasoning and sauces that piqued my interest that I’d like to grab some other time. I’ll definitely make the trip out from Vancouver the next time I am needing grilling stuff.

I was looking for a gas grill and called Ray at Portland BBQ. We discussed options and decided on a Weber Genesis ll S310.I also needed to have a new gas line put on my deck.He recommended Portland Heating & Air Conditioning to do the gas work. Tyler was great!Due to Covid19, I was not leaving my house. However thanks to Ray and Tyler I was able to get the perfect BBQ, have it delivered and installed. Was also able to order a nice cover, brush and tool set. Thanks to everyone at both these companies.

Great Weber grill at a competitive price—same as Home Depot or amazon. Awesome service, they even helped me disassemble the side shelf to fit this grill into my hatchback. I’ll be back for my future grill needs!

I love to shop local.I needed a hose and fittings for a very old propane stove. They fixed me right up.I also got a great end of season deal on the Weber grill I wanted.Staff is knowledgeable and efficient.

We knew what we wanted before we went there so didnt really interact with the sales people. But from what I could tell they were courteous and knowledgeable. They had a excellent selection of products and accessories.

Staff knows their stuff and they offer a large selection for such a tiny space. The prices arent incredible but on par with any big box or hardware chain. They also have a nice selection of accessories for BBQs and a handful of seasonings/sauces.

Have done business with these guys before. Came back to get a gas grill. They built it and delivered it. Great customer service.

Their inventory is good. We bought a gas stove here, and we love it. They made a mistake and ordered the wrong part once, but returning it was no problem at all. Staff are not the most talkative on the planet, but they are honest. The store is NOT AT ALL accessible for anyone in a chair.

Emailed them for a quote on a Weber BBQ, received a prompt reply. Went in the next day and talked with Patrick, one of the sales staff. He took the time to go over all the aspects of the grill with us. Portland BBQ Shop had the most stock of any store in town, and they assembled and delivered quickly. Good people, good experience.

The place to go for Traeger and Weber parts

By far the best barbecue shop in town. I I love this place!

Went in. Knew what we wanted. Purchased it. Asked specifically if we needed anything else. NopeWent home and out our new natural gas grill together only to find out you need a special adaptor. We phoned right away but they were closed. Next day, phoned and asked and were told oh yeah, you surely need one of those.For being expert people. This is nuts

Let me start by saying this store has good inventory with knowledgeable staff. However, they wont take returns. I bought two thermometers on a Saturday, and found out I didnt need them, so I tried to return them on Monday (2 days later). They told me they would not take returns. Well thats fine, but if thats the policy then it should have been made explicitly clear when I was purchasing the items, not after the fact when I was attempting to return. In this day and age it is common to return items to a store if dont work, or dont work for your specific needs. No matter how good this stores inventory is, I personally will never do business with them again.

Excellent choice ofproducts, knowledgeable staff, competitive prices and specialize in their product. Not a seasonal big box store where finding knowledgeable help is a challenge.

We went to Home Depot first and they said it would be two to three weeks for the bbq we wanted. So glad we went to Portland Barbecue Shop. They had the bbq we wanted in stock at their off site warehouse and we were able to get it the same day. Great customer service!

I called ahead to check their inventory on a specific grill. They told me that they had one in stock and that theyd put my name on it and hold it for me so I could come by later and pick it up. I drove 40 minutes to get there (from North to SE) and paid while they went to go get it. 20 minutes later, they realize that their inventory is wrong and they dont have it. Because I had already paid, then I had to wait around to deal with the refund.I wasted almost two hours of my day with this place and itll be the last time I ever go there. If you call in to have them check inventory, I recommend you ask them to visually verify it instead of trusting their computers.

If you dont have time to go somewhere else, this will do. Staff could be more friendly, and the prices could be a lot better.

Went there looking for Traeger Rosewood handle utensils yesterday June 24th. The cashier didnt know if they had them so she asked someone in the back . I turned around and there it was, The two pieces I was looking for. As I grabbed it off the display the cashier said they dont have the Traeger Rosewood handle bbq tools. I held it in my hand and pointed at it and said here it is. Owner: bit of advise, your employees should know what you have on the floor. Most of the answers I got were I dont know . Cool store though.

The first and LAST time I will ever go to Portland BBQ shop. I traveled across town in rush hour traffic in 80+ degree muggy heat to get two horizontal RV, 5 gallon tanks re-certified and filled up. The lady told me she would have to see if they can get it done but yet the store still had ALMOST AN HOUR left open. The shop kid came back and told her no, but I could leave my tanks over night. I told the lady how far I had traveled and REALLY needed to have this service done but she didnt seem to care. There is NO WAY I am gonna leave almost $400 worth of horizontal RV tanks at some shop across town and hope they are still there tomorrow, plus drive all the way back! So, I had to drive more than 40 blocks farther to get my tanks serviced at the competitors shop and it only took them less than 15 minutes to finish the job! Ultimately it was worth the drive because I now have a new BBQ shop that is willing to go the extra mile, unlike Portland BBQ Shop. Very poor customer service!

If this place can’t help you with your BBQ needs, eat out. I needed a special hose and attachment for my grill and they put it together for me. If it’s for the backyard cook, they got it.

Was looking for a Weber Genesis EP330 for natural gas. They were the only ones that had it in town.

Very very VERY unhelpful owner said that he only carries what can at a big box stores, so why go here when you can go to home Depot for a whole lot cheaper
