WOW! This is a great market and takeout place. We stumbled in here by happenstance, and were very pleased when we left. The place was full of hard working folks making bread and other baked goodies! We had a piece of Iraqi bread fresh from the oven, and then had an informal lesson on how to make the bread with meat in my review photo. The people were SO nice and welcoming!!! I will definitely come back again!

We travel over an hour and a half each way to shop at this store. They are always very kind, polite and extremely accommodating. Their service has been great and the prices are very reasonable. I absolutely would recommend them to anyone looking for middle eastern groceries, especially great feta cheese!!

I was delighted to find this store; it had chickpea flour which my wife had been looking for, some wonderful Iraqi flatbread (belch!), lovely mango juice, Moussy (an N/A malt beverage), comb honey, and any number of other things for preparing middle-eastern food. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. 10/10 will go back.

Such an awesome place to get all of our authentic middle eastern supplies. They had everything from nread, spices, meats drinks, to cooking supplies to arabic perfumes. we bought a beautiful quran clock on our first anniversary. wish i loved closer to keep going back. very friendly and kind people that work there. made our trip to portland worth it.

Great family who runs this store! Incredibly kind and friendly. Their halal meat is great & if you need halal marshmallows to make smores this summer, this is the place for that! I will be back soon to try their food from their restaurant!

Good family run business. Okay food, but on expensive side. It was very confusing placing an order. First they gave me a different price and then they started arguing amongst themselves in different language. Then one of them came to me and said we gave you a wrong price, the actual price is double of what his son told me earlier. Very confusing! I told them thats okay, I will get another wrap instead. But when they gave my ordered they gave me the original expensive plate that I told them not to order. Food was okay, nothing special. Shawarma chicken on rice, which I paid over $15, had a old chicken reheated. Falafel wrap was not very good either. Nothing special. They need to learn customer support.

I needed Mahleb for Easter bread. They were helpful & friendly. And making fresh bread while i was there. Yum!

One of the spots if you want to have an authentic Iraqi food/ grocery. The people there are amazing and very friendly. You can even just walk in to get to know what Iraqi culture is about. Very diverse collection of Kusher/Halal food and meat. Many Many middle eastern gift collections as well. The manager name is Nawar and he is great person, very educated with master degree in Business. worth of visit for sure.

Goat meat (fresh stock is available either Thursday or Friday), Fish and whole chicken is good.

Unique food items you dont find at a standard grocery store. Excellent falafel and schwarma sandwiches.

Very happy someone told me to try this place out. Great selection of items from very day nececities to items not found in your local supermarket.The shawarma on fresh flat bread was delish, well seasoned, and the bread so good. My friend had the falafel which she wouldnt share so Ill be back to get my own soon.Sometimes you need that invitation to the something new, consider this an invitation to whomever is reading to check out this great addition to Portland.See you guys again soon
