The Sign Doctor did some work on our sign for a store in Hood River. The entire process from my first call to his completion photos were just a joy because of the attention to detail and the care he put in. Customer service was top notch. Prices were great for the distance he went to our job and the prep involved. We had a problem we were struggling to fix for months before we found The Sign Doctor and its now 100% fixed after just a few hours. Over all, a total 10/10!

One of the WORST experiences Ive had interacting with a business. I never take the time to review places, good or bad, but wanted to warn others to stay as far away from this company as possible.I first contacted Dwayne The Sign Doctor to fix my neon sign in September 2018. After several weeks, Dwayne comes back to replace the broken neon, but its the wrong color. So he comes back to uninstall and promises to bring back the correct neon in a week.... I hear nothing from him for months. I contact Dwayne in December and he says hes having equipment issues and will bring back the corrected neon in another week or 2....Again I hear nothing from him for months. I contact Dwayne in February to see where the sign is. He told me he was still having equipment issues and it would be another couple weeks..... AGAIN I hear nothing from him. Beginning of April (8 months from first contact), I again reach out to Dwayne. He tells me hes just been busy and to just give him ANOTHER week. He calls me a few days later and tells me he cant find the right color of neon. Its apparent that he hasnt worked on my sign this whole time and now is trying to source materials at the last min. Keep in mind the color I need is just white.Dwayne goes on to tell me that he could get a neon that is close in color, but he doesnt want to pay for the supplies because he only needs a small amount of it to complete my sign. He suggests just putting the sign back with the wrong color, the way it was 7months ago before he took it back to fix it. I obviously was not happy with this result after waiting all these months for a repaired sign. I suggested replacing the other part of the word on the sign so at the very least the words would match, even if they did not match the rest of the sign.Dwayne then quickly quoted me a price that was 3 TIMES what we had discussed originally back in September- charging me full price on the incorrect unit, the new unit I needed to match the incorrect one, and including the trips he has made to and from my shop to pick up the incorrect sign. I was extremely offended that after all this time, his inability to correct his mistake, and his non communication over 8 months, that this was his offer to correct the situation.I told him I thought 50% of the new total would be fair. Dwayne refused, and told me he would bring back what he had in another week.I came in to find my sign half down and flickering, not just the letters he was supposed to have been fixing, and a buzz you can hear a block away. I emailed him- no response.Today I called Dwayne to tell him what the new problem. Dwayne told me it was broken when he was there back in September, so he left it broken because I didnt want to pay for his trips to and from my shop to pick up the sign that was incorrect. He was extremely rude, and acting like it was me who put him out after 8 months of patiently waiting for The Sign Doctor to repair my sign. Ive had to push back filming, photoshoots and events at my business waiting for this sign to be completed, and now I have to start this whole process over again.I wouldnt recommend hiring Dwayne to chew gum, let alone to fix the sign on your business. Youre better off with some crayons and some cardboard. It would be less of a disappointment.

Dwayne the Sign Doctor installed hanging scroll 2 signs on my Glisan building that failed. One tore the wood facing it was installed to away and I de installed it before it could cause further damage. The sign on the other one snapped off and fell to the ground in the wind. Go pay the money for insured and permitted signage installation for your own safety.

Great guy, always professional. He can fix any electrical Sign! I use his services often and never had a bad experience.

I had him work on my electrical sign in 2010 and will be calling him this week for additional work. I thought he did great work and really knows what he is doing.
