I am a kindergarten teacher and was in need of carpet squares for students to sit on in my classroom. Though no carpet squares for the size I needed were cut and available, one of the workers generously drew up a plan to have a larger carpet cut and bound into the exact sized squares that I needed. He was very generous in the price he offered for the carpet and the service of cutting and binding as well. It is so nice to have local businesses supporting teachers and education... I will definitely be going back to Lomax!

Outstanding selection and service. Shirley helped us and made the decision super easy and most importantly my wife was extremely happy. She helped her understand color choices and how they work together for a beautiful presentation. We couldnt be happier.

Everything started out good. The carpet was installed and we had a section not matching the rest. I emailed the manager Steve and sent him a picture. He stated they would replace. Since then i have called and emailed with zero return calls I even went in the store to speak with them and they told me the replacement carpet was lost. To make a long story short they have never returned any of my 2 additional emails and 6 additional phone calls. I even told the manager I was going to contact my credit card company as this is the worst customer service i have ever experienced. I have attached a photo. Will not recommend anyone to use them. I went here for quality and service and neither was given. We all know mistakes happen but it how you react to those mistakes that matters. Be aware if something goes wrong your will be left in the dark without a care. 11-09-20 Went to store this weekend I had to contact them again. We have this scheduled to replace will update when done. 11-11-20 they came out but the carpet piece that had did not match. Spoke with Dominic he seems like a nice person and stated they will have to replace the entire floor so that its done right. Will update when i have answers. 11-13-20 Called to get an update. Dominic is out of the office was told Matt will call me today.11-16-20 Matt never called but Dominic did call this weekend to ask my availability for getting the carpet replaced. So Far he is the only one that seams to care and he said he will get back to me. 11-18-20 Dominic called me back as he said he would and this is scheduled. If you ever have a problem he is the guy that cares. Will update next week. Crew came and replaced carpet and we are not satisfied as it looks great. Dominic even gave a follow up call to see how everything went. Once Dominic got involved he returned calls and made sure things got corrected. In the end they did what they promised so we are happy. Thank You Dominic.

This is an amazing place to get your flooring! It was absolutely beautiful! N the Shirley was very helpful! N helped me pick the most beautiful floor! We are very happy with it! The quality is awesome! I would recommend them to everyone!

We recently purchased some vinyl flooring from Lomax Carpet and Tile in Pottstown Pa.. We finished installing it last Friday. I just want to say it looks beautiful. When we were looking at different varieties Larry Ferguson helped us and provided a couple of samples to take home with us so we could decide what color would be best. We went back after choosing the one we wanted and Shirley Wolf helped us in Larrys absence. Shirley was very helpful as was Larry. The flooring in store wasnt enough so we had to order it. It came in but to the wrong store location. I spoke to Steve Colaianni and for the inconvenience he delivered the flooring at no charge. We are very happy with the new floor and also the service provided to us at the Pottstown Lomax Carpet and Tile Mart.

I read awesome reviews about Sue before stepping in the door. she really is outstanding and a value to the company. I came in wanting Pergo extreme flooring in caffeine hit. She showed me where it was and at my request show me some others so I made sure my decision felt right. So explained the other fine details to add the quality of the install.I watered the floors scheduled within two weeks and they were beautifully done. We also had stairs carpeted. This was within a week visiting the store. all of the installers were very polite, professional, on time and did a quality job. Patrick and JR installed the Pergo extreme floor so artfully. They vary the panels To bring out the quality in the design. It looks like a magazine cover. They both worked very hard and finish this job in one day. It was scheduled for two days. I am so happy with the sales, quality of materials and installers at this local store right in Montgomeryville. The pricing was very good also. There’s no need to hire a separate person to do installation. Sue scheduled everyone, confirmed all the details And my house looks amazing. Thank you for caring about your work! It is huge with all types of flooring in stock.They have and incredible Rug selection With Magnolia Home and Calvin Klein rugs, Tons of tile, carpet, wood displays and lots of stock on hand.They do custom binding on the spot too. Nice,well laid out and friendly store. Definitely a new destination store for all flooring in the area.

Today I ordered my Pergo flooring from Lomax in Pottstown. What a great experience. I had an install quote done by them however; I decided I was going to do the project myself. Lomax didn’t pressure me into using them for the install and they were able to order right off of the install quote which made it very easy! They also gave me a great price!! Thanks again Lomax!! I can’t wait for my flooring to arrive!! If your looking for a great sales rep ask for Shirley, she was very nice and helpful!

Lomax has a big selection of affordable, quality flooring options; however, their customer service is terrible. Shortly after they installed my tile floor, the grout started cracking and a few tiles came up. Its been well over two years of my phone calls and emails going unanswered even though Dominic said he would contact me. My in person visits are dismissed with more promises of sending someone to look at it who has yet to come. Ive been pleasant, polite, and patient but am extremely dissapointed that no one seems to care to make it right.Because I like their products I purchased more items for my basement remodel and yet again had a negative experience. I had to call to get the quote they said they would send, when I got it the quote was incorrect, they said it would be in within a week, I waited 3 weeks before calling them to check in. They said they would call me to schedule installation and didnt. I had to call them....I get they are short staffed but dont make promises you dont intend to keep.

Couldnt have had worse of an experience at Lomax. Called to get their pricing on some carpeting we needed done and they said they offer free installation, tear away & disposal of old carpet as long as we got up to a specific amount of carpet (which we did). Our sales person mentioned the consultation & measurements are free. Guy measured and a week later they call me to say that it would be considerably more than what was discussed and that we would need to pay the installers what they charge to tear up and get rid of the old carpet. I said but you pitched it as free? They said that they give us a credit for it but the installer still needs to be paid those fees. When I mentioned about how unsavory of a business practice that is, the sales person just defended it. Sounds like they old bait & switch to me. I went in to get the refund for the down payment we made. The lady charged me $35 for the guy to measure even though we were told it was free. The lady giving me my refund said its free if we decide to go with them. This was not clarified or in anything we signed prior to the measurements. I said how upset I was and the lady just looked at me with a glazed look over her face. Never heard sorry from anyone. Several days ago I asked to speak the manager about the experience I had and received no call back from the manager. Has scam written all over it. I want my $35 back.Does this sound right to you?Welcome to McDonalds, we have a special on Big Mac meals for $1!-- Sounds good Ill take thatThatll be $1 for us and $7 for the guy flipping the burgers-- ...but the guy said it would be $1?Well, we just credit you the other $6. You still have to pay the cook.People dont go to your store to ask for what the partial amount for carpet is... Why wouldnt your employees mention this kinda stuff?3 weeks of wasted time.I really had better hopes...

We order hardwood flooring and installation through Lomax. The selection was great and the prices were reasonable, however the installation was horrible. I would buy from Lomax again, but would not have them do the installation.The day of installation I moved appliances and removed some flooring. The contractor arrived a bit early (great!), but dropped two guys off without tools and then left to finish another job. They didn’t get back until 4-5 hours later (not so great!). They worked for an hour, then took a lunch break, then worked the rest of the night to complete the installation around 9pm. I am glad they finished (just about everything) in one day but was furious that we were working to 9pm when I have young children in the house. I am also concerned that they did not install per manufacturers instructions and didn’t glue and nail each starter board (as recommended for 5” wide planks), use the correct minimum joint offsets(4-6” min), or allow space between the floor and wall for natural expansion/contraction (3/4” around vertical walls or obstructions). They also cut the step bullnose (an expensive piece of wood!) too short and then glued a piece back on. It was difficult to inspect the (almost) finished installation (I’m waiting on more quarter round because they didn’t have enough) without good lighting and the next day I found that even though we had 15-20 boards left over, they used several cracked boards throughout the installation. They also pushed the dishwasher pan back further than it should be and cut the quarter round too long in front of it, defeating the purpose of the drain pan, screwed up the quarter round near one of the ducts under a cabinet, and left a big stain of glue under the extra boards, which was a nice surprise when I moved them a few days later. It’s been about 2 weeks since the install and I have at least 2 boards the are a bit loose and creak when walked on. Also, I have been picking flooring staples and brad nails out of my lawn for the past two weeks!Throughout the process I did call the store to discuss the issue regarding my labor to remove flooring and move appliances, as well as the lack of work being performed. Lomax did send a manager out to “check up” on the crew and they did extend a small credit back to me appropriate for the reduced labor. I thought this was very fair, though I am not happy with the overall quality of the installation.8/22/2019 update. Lomax reach out to me to better understand and address the issues. We agreed on some of the big items that needed to be addressed and set an appt for the installer to come out at 930, the first appt for the day. I received my confirmation call which said they would be here between 10-11am (not what we agreed, but no big deal). By noon, nobody had shown up. I had to call Lomax to track down the installer. At 12:48 a different installer arrived but couldn’t address the issues because he specialized in carpet and vinyl. At this point I lost a day of work for nothing but aggregation. I stopped by the Lomax store to talk with the manager, who was very apologetic and understanding. We agreed on the issues and a path forward to resolve them through a different contractor. Overall I am extremely frustrated with this installation, however I appreciate that Lomax is owning and addressing the issues. Originally I rated my experience as 2 stars, at the moment I would rate it zero because of my frustration, but if Lomax follows through on the corrections we discussed I plan to update it to 4-5 stars; after all, all of my issues have been with their subcontractor. If they stand behind their customers and doing the right thing, they deserve to be recognized for that!9/20 update: installers were supposed to show up 8:30-9:30 am. Several hours and calls to the store later, the installer finally arrived around 1:45 pm and explained there was a scheduling conflict. Overall, they did a great job fixing some of the major issues I had with the first installation. I would definitely recommend Paulo as an installer.REVIEW LIMIT

After Empire carpets cancelled our consult 1 hour before scheduled time, we scrambled to find a carpet place that would be able to install within a week. Most places we called just couldn’t do it, Lomax of Pottstown were the first to say yes. Chris was great and had us in next day to pick carpet and get everything set up. The manager Steve was out next business day to take measurements for us and by the Friday the installation crew was ready to go. They realized the house was newly painted and were very careful not to damage any baseboards. We had an all around great experience and highly recommend as they did not hesitate to work with us and get the project done in such a short amount of time.

I couldnt be more pleased with my experience at Lomax. Dominic was our salesman. He went above & beyond the call of duty in serving us. Not only did he bring samples to the house several times, which was very helpful in deciding which Luxury Vinyl to get, but he was very knowledgeable about the right product for our needs. He took careful, accurate measurements, which resulted just the right amount of product without much waste. The installers were excellent!! They worked very hard make sure the job was well done!

This was our first experience with Lomax and it was a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, from beginning to end!!Our basement was flooded due to a major storm and they made us feel like family from the 1st time we walked through the door. We have bought a lot of material from this store. Rugs, hardwood and tiles and I have to say we have never been disappointed. We were helped by Dominic the first time we did our floors and he was knowledgeable and helpful. It was a pleasant experience with on time delivery and on time service of installation. Then we went back for rug purchase and even with a special purchase order the rug was not anything like we had imagined and the store managed Steve made it right for us and exchanged the rug for something we liked. Overall we were happy with the entire experience and both managers were great. From shopping around i found their prices are also competitive.

Waited 2 months for one box of carpet tile. Made 5 phone calls asking for a status . Each time a return call was promised with information. Not one of the 5 calls was returned. Finally got a refund by going in to the store. Go to Garys. Its not far and has super customer service.

We recently moved and were happy to go back to the Pottstown Lomax for area rugs for our new home. We had replaced the floor in our master bath and upstairs carpet in our other house, the staff was great to work with as well as the installers.

When I called back I talk to the assistant manager and he help me out with my purchase and then when we had an issue with one of the tiles he came through like a champ. What a great shopping experience! Our salesman, Matt, went above & beyond. We put hard wood floors throughout our entire house along w/area rugs. Matt was extremely helpful. Our salesperson Tamara was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with If it wasn’t for her you would get zero stars if possible Installation in apartment was a nightmare Crew due 10AM Saturday, showed up at 1:15 At 5:30 or so asked if they could work later, assumed that meant 7 or maybe 8 Agreed in the hopes that they would finish that day. Finally at 11pm I told them they would have to come back to finish Supposedly coming back in morning, that didn’t work. Came back Monday morning but had to leave for another job Came back about 4 in afternoon and finally finished around 9pm Monday night Could mostly excuse that if work was good Not a chance. Carpet in hallway had 3 poorly done seams instead of one as originally agreed to. trim piece between bathroom vinyl and hallway carpet so poorly installed half of carpet was sticking out. I had to reinstall that myself. Hall floor trim had giant gouges that I had to putty and restain Coving poorly installed in bath and kitchen. Final insult was I called store manager in Pottstown and politely as possible voiced my displeasure. He told me he would have someone come out to repair hall carpet and would give us some “considerations” for our troubles. That was over 6 weeks ago and I haven’t heard a peep. Hopefully they don’t call me now, not sure I could be as polite if they did.

Alot of choices for flooring

We have used Lomax in Pottstown several times without complaint. The first time was to replace carpet with new flooring in my son’s bedroom, which we liked so much we did the same thing in my daughters bedrooms. We then replaced the carpet in our bedroom. Yesterday I met with Tamera Adolf to measure the second floor of our son’s townhome, using the same product we used in his bedroom in our home. Tamera was proficient, friendly and I have no doubt this job will be as good as the prior jobs.Thank you Tamera!

Happy with the product but was not satisfied with the services. The pad was cut all crooked and out of square we had to trim it up when we got home. One side was even ripped not cut. We picked out the carpet 4 weeks ago and it still wasnt ready when we got there to pick it up had to wait 1 and half hours to get it and go.

The sales team and the gentleman who came out to measure were nice enough and easy enough to work with. Selection and prices were fair.... but....On the day of installation, when no one was here by 10:30, I called for an ETA. I was told there was an issue and it got pushed back... and we were looking at sometime between 1-3. Ok.... stuff happens.... I totally get that. I just really wish YOU had called ME earlier to communicate this. People have work.... lives... to plan around for this. I shouldnt have had to track you down about that. You guys need to be on your game in communicating these things. Also... between 1-3..... ended up being 3:40..... with no call.

I was scheduled to have my flooring installed today from 12-3. Got a call at 10 am from the store saying the crew never checked in and were basically MIA. After several more phone calls, I’m told the crew has been located but has another job ahead of mine, but they will be able to make it out in the evening. At 4:40, I got a call saying they were finishing their job and would be along shortly. It is 7:30 and no one showed up to install my floors. Additionally, they tried to up charge me by $500 on the estimate by adding an additional 50 square feet to the space. They also came to “measure” my boyfriend’s camper (which costs $35 by the way) for flooring, then never called him to tell him they couldn’t do the work. He had to call them to demand a refund, which is what I will be doing tomorrow when they open. I liked their product and that it was American made and I was happy to spend additional money on a good quality product (versus Home Depot or another big box store), but this is totally and completely unacceptable.

We purchased a remnant and had it bound so that it could be used as an area rug in our family room. Shirley our sales person was very friendly and helpful. There was a huge selection to choose from in a variety of sizes. After purchasing the rug, I contacted the store again to change my order from pick up to delivery, the staff was extremely accommodating and I was able to get a Saturday delivery. I have recommended this store to my family and friends and would definitely shop here again.

Product selection was good. Installation excellent. One star is being given because of the difficulty working with them. The only way we found to communicate was driving the store and waiting for Matt to become available. All phone messages went into oblivion and only Matt seemed to have access to the schedule. Also, Datile offers a discount coupon that they are supposed to honor. They refused (it was supposed to be 10% on Daltile) stating that it was ONLY available for DIY customers. We were giving them a greater opportunity to profit and they REFUSED to honor the coupon. Daltile was beyond useless when we complained.

This is the first store that I will visit for all my flooring needs. We redid our complete house with hardwood and tile and the professional staff was great to work with. Matt, and Tamara went above and beyond. The delivery staff also treated our home with respect and care. What a great place to shop.

Connie was super helpful in working with us to find everything! From carpets to back splashes. Every step of the way she would walk through the benefits of getting this vs that. As people who dont know much about home renovation it was nice to have someone so helpful. We changed our minds many times with our selections last minute but she was willing to put up with it. I had a wonderful experience from A-Z at this business. My salesman, Connie, was fantastic. Knowledgeable without being pushy. We worked very well together. They worked 11 hours straight!My house looks wonderful. The contractors installed them easily and quickly; weve had no problems and, best of all, we have extra squares should we ever need them. Lomax is highly trusted in our area, and its easy to see why. Just had to write a review. I had been to several other places looking for tile but couldn’t find someone with an interior design background to help me with my selection choices. My first visit was instant success!! Connie was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable . It was such a pleasure working with her . She took a lot of time and followed up with me. I learned a lot through the process.We also had flooring installed in the kitchen ( which Connie helped me pick out) and the installation was perfect . The two gentlemen were on time, pleasant and the workmanship was great. On a closing note, on my visits to the store Steve, Dominic and Lorraine were helpful. My experience was awesome .

Had old carpet removed and new carpet installed. Great service from Shirley even when I changed my mind on a few things. Installers left two remnants which when I called the store and spoke with Steve, he said bring them in and they will bind them. For free!!! Awesome!! Also gave me an extra transition strip which after installation I realized I should of had!! Thank you for the extra service following the sale and install. Would definitely recommend.

I was in this store looking at options of some doing some flooring in my house but changed my mind upon overhearing poor customer service from the top management refusing to speak to a customer or deal with what seemed to be an issue a customer was having. I feel for the other associates who seemed to be trying to find a resolution. Hope this improves as things tend to go wrong when it comes to big decisions, we feel better knowing there is a higher up to deal with when regular associates cant help us fix a problem.

I recently had a very large tile and flooring delivery in Wildwood NJ. Nick and Scott made the long trip from the pottstown store to wildwood, and were extremely helpful. They were punctual, courteous, and went above and beyond with helping to move the tile into my house. I am very grateful for their help and would recommend to any future customers.

They dont carry much in stock. Everything we needed had to be ordered, so shop in advance and dont plan to do your project that day if youre doing it yourself. Staff was helpful but got interrupted several times, never picking up where we left off. We Finally ended up in Home Depot and spent 1/3 of the amount Lomax was asking, just for the materials. Very happy with our Home Depot product, do it yourself with pro results!

An excellent experience from start to finish. Our consultant, Mr. Dominic DeCecco was fabulous. He showed us several options and was knowledgable about the product. Professionall and courteous! He also followed through the sale with the installation process, checking on the crew and our satisfaction., both of which were excellent as well. The crew was professional, considerate and cleaned up before the left. All-in-all a wonderful experience and we will be returning for more flooring!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES, INCOMPETENT SALESPEOPLEI purchased carpet for a bedroom. They told me in store that they would send someone out to measure on Thursday and the carpet would be installed Friday morning. They even hand wrote the installation time/date on my receipt. They measured on Thursday. Friday 12:30pm, still, nobody showed up. I tried calling 3 times with no answer. The fourth time someone finally answered and told me that I was never quoted. Why schedule the installation if I wasnt quoted yet?I had to take a day off work to not have anybody show up. Now they say they may be able to get it installed on Saturday. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES

Great prices. Wonderful selection. Ted Horn couldnt be more knowledgeable when it came to the product. He helped design our bathroom which I must say is incredible.

So happy that we picked Lomax for or carpet purchase. They made the carpet selection easy because they educated us on the different types of rugs and pads available. Installation went just as well! Thank you making me feel like a VIP customer all the way through!

The service I received was quick and polite, and Dominic was very helpful.

The installers did a great job installing my bathroom tile(I would give them 5 stars if I could rate them separately) thats the only reason this place even got one star. The customer service and communication is poor! When I first ordered the tile, I specifically told them I had a brand new vanity to be installed when the tile was done. No one bothered to tell me they may not be able to do it. I was told the tile should be in on the 24th and when I called a couple days after that date was told the order didnt get put in on time so it would be on the 31st. Tile did come in on that date and I went to the store to schedule installation. Scheduled for this past Sat 6/8; but had I known no one would be finishing on Sunday, I never would have picked a Sat. Didnt know that until the guys were leaving when they said well be back Monday to finish. The subject of the vanity came up when one of the guys said on his printout/receipt it didnt say anything about the vanity just the toilet. Showed him my copy where it said, remove/replace/toilet and remove/replace sink. He said he would call the store about it. I said I would be stopping by the store also to address the matter. While at the store I told them my concerns and they said I just had a copy of the preliminary printout not the final one. When asked why I didnt have a copy of that one, I was told, I dont know well give you one now. Was told they couldnt do my vanity because theyre not plumbers and the new one probably would need different holes and plumbing. Nothing was ever said to me up front when I initially said I had a new vanity, otherwise I would have had someone already lined up. As I stormed out of the store, I told them they will never get anymore of my business or anyone I know. Got home other errands and had a message from the manager saying they found someone who could put in my new vanity and it would be done as soon as the tile guys were done. Monday comes and the tile guys finished up and there is no one to put in the vanity. So I call the store and end up speaking with the asst manager since the manager was not in. Told him was what going on. He told me the guy who they found was doing a job in NJ and couldnt get there for a couple days!!!! I was furious!!!!! I ended up having to call literally 10 plumbers before I finally had one call me back and say he could come that evening. The work finally got done and it looks great but no thanks to Lomax; except for the guys who installed the tile. I also told the asst manager that I would never use them again or anyone else I know would use them.Overall, the tile guys did a great job but the customer service and communication is sorely lacking!!!!!!!

We had a small problem with the original installation but Steve and Dominic made sure everything was corrected to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the quality and the service. Sometimes it is easy when everything goes right. The true test is how you handle things when they dont. Lomax stepped up and did the right thing. I highly recommend. Thanks Steve.

Excellent customer service, knowledgeable, excellent prices. Will recommend to everyone. Also, very large selection of carpets, vinyl and tiles. Dominic was our salesman, ask for him. Great personality!

It’s a shame, the salesman that assisted me in the store was fantastic, but whoever they send to measure carpets came unprepared and had to use my tape measure to do the job. (This was a 12ft tape measure). I understand there are seams involved, but when I get 235 sq ft, and they’re quoting 330, there’s something wrong. 10 percent extra would have been understandable not 40.

DO NOT buy from this store!!! The employees are unpleasant and dishonest!! We had a special order tile that they entered the wrong sku number and after we picked it up and noticed it was wrong we told them we received tile that I NEVER even looked at. After my husband went in to speak with the store manager and the sales woman, she boldly lied straight to my husbands face and her Manager that I changed the design! Completely untrue!!! This is how they keep the store running...specially order the wrong product and then make the customers pay for it! I will be filing a complaint with the BBB! PLEASE Dont waste your time or money!!

I put in 4 individual orders of tile in one sitting and only one was received correctly, the other 3 had to be returned. Dont do business here they will tell you anything to sell the product with no follow up. They do not meet delivery times. They even broke a box from our original order that was correct. Once you pay for the product you are screwed. Due to their incompetence we now have half of our tile in place and a contractor at a stand still as we wait for Lomax to get their act together

They are very attentive to your needs and are always ready to make the necessary arrangements to get it done.I like Tamara

Over promised and under delivered. They need to crosstrain their warehouse workers as installers and estimator so they can live up to the appointments they promise. They seem to outsource the estimating and installation. Overall dissatisfied with the service Matthew the associate who helped me was great but I think the service department does him a great disservice. I wont go into all the annoying issues I encountered but wanted to be sure to emphasize my disappointment with the service.

This has been one of the WORST experiences in my life!!! We ordered flooring in August and the job is still not done!! Today they sent a crew for the third time to complete the job and they still didn’t order the correct size!! We paid THEM to measure because God forbid they trust OUR measurements!!! Are you kidding me?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! If you want things done right use someone that knows what they are doing!! Just awful!! Totally DISGUSTED!! If you are in the same situation, go to the credit card company and file a dispute and call corporate!! They will not last in this area.

Oct 14 we finalized new kitchen counters and tile backsplash. Wife told them we needed it done by Thanksgiving- 6 weeks away. Lomax sub-contracts to Colonial Marble & Tile for the quartz counters. They came within a couple days to measure and counters were beautifully installed a week later! A week later, The Lomax guy who measured for the backsplash was a jerk- didn’t seem to care, told me my plan wouldn’t look good and didn’t want to get up a ladder to measure a high section. He also stank up my bathroom in the 10 minutes he was here. In the end I have 1.25 boxes of tile leftover. The one box is unopened so he measured (guessed) wrong. the store will not take it back- it’s their employees fault/ he measured wrong.And It took MULTIPLE phone calls and visits to the store to light a fire and get the tile backsplash done by Thanksgiving. They even gave me a date then cancelled! Got it finished 2 days before thanksgiving because I told them I wanted my money back! Oh and just before they sent someone out to do the job, they called and said they mis-quoted the price and I needed to pay more!! You won’t see me there ever again.

Dominic provided and amazing experience. He took time with the selection process, was very much educated on the product lines and made sure to maximize the cut to reduce waste. If youre going to Lomax, make sure you ask for Dominic!!

Dominic DeCecco, Assistant Store Manager, of Lomax Carpet & Tile Mart, Pottstown (next to Coventry Mall) is the ONLY person you will want to handle ALL OF YOUR FLOORING AND TILING NEEDS! Dominic always had an answer for my many questions. I wasn’t sure about the color for the tile grouting. Dominic searched for his coworker (and found her within 5 min) who is an interior design expert. Within minutes, she advised me of the color and it is perfect. I also considered corner shelves in the tub area. I picked white ones but Dominic suggested glass ones. And he was so right! They look wonderful. You will not find a more courteous, knowledgeable, helpful representative in our area. I will get all of my flooring, carpeting and any home improvement products from Dominic....THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!!!

I went there yesterday to get some sticky tiles. The place is very big with variety of tiles and carpets. There was no one to ask for help. After 5 minutes I found the tiles I was looking for in a very small display. I couldnt see the price so I asked one of 3 girls which they were sitting in front of computers. They said they didnt know but I could ask the lady who was standing nearby. She came and told me a price. I went to the same girls to pay but they said they cannot help me and they called the same lady. While I was telling her that I want to pay another customer asked her something and she left me there and went away with them. I was kind of upset, put the tiles back and left. This is a very confusing place. Or maybe the amount I was going to pay was very small and not important to them.

Awful customer service, no one was interested in helping me find pricing and the girl that i did speak to didnt know anything about it. Wandered for 20 mins on 2 people she said would help me and then just left smh

Great selection, Dominic the salesman was great, as I was a little indecisive. We were there during there soft opening, so there were a few small bumps, all resolved right then. Carpet was installed as promised. Installer was great. Huge selection!! Will definately use them again.

Lomax just put a hardwood floor in our bedroom last night. The threshold board is very high leading to our bathroom. Now we can not close adjoining bathroom door at all. Their response was....we dont do doors. Huge gouges out of our newly painted walls. Would never do it again.

There were problems with the flooring and install with multiple defects, however Lomax did contact us directly after the negative Google Review and the owner of the company promptly and fairly resolved the problems. It was greatly appreciated.

Avoid this place. It is staffed by commission sucking vampires who sabotage each others sales. Messages are not given, calls are not returned. This very upsetting experience even included some woman insinuating my wife was homeless and needed to find another place to loiter. Another red headed tough guy physically obstructed my walking path and sneered, what are you doing here? Zero customer service, zero acumen, zero chance of ever making a sale with any of my friends, family or business associates.
