Seeing that The Very Best was re-opened and that it as if time stood still really brought back some memories. Josh and his crew do an amazing job and the food is excellent all the way around. Sometimes nostalgia is a wonderful thing and Josh nails it.

Grocery store hot dogs served on a grocery store bun slopped with chili sauce the quality of Taco Bell. You can get a better hot dog at your kids Little League field. The median age there is 74.The town deserves better than this.

Hadn’t been in for a little while. Forgot how good those burgers are. Best in Pottstown! Fries are also on point. Great spot on high street. Do yourself a favor and give them a try you’ll thank me. Great prices too! Keep serving up tasty food! Thanks

The hotdogs are just as good as theyve always been, all these years later. Service is friendly and exceptionally fastIve loved coming here since I was a kid with my family and grandparents. Theyve lived in the area for decades (and more generations past them), so the history on the walls is nostalgic on many levels. I cant wait to return ☺

I was heading out this way so I googled a hot dog place. I came upon this one and Im thrilled that I did. The food was great, the service was timely and extremely friendly. The place has a vintage vibe without being dingy. Theres a sweet old jukebox and a few old arcade machines in the back. The waitress (who I got a manager vibe from) gave my nephew 50¢ to play Centipede, after he finished his dinner of course. We sat at the counter since theres not many left in the restaurant world. From there I could see their whole operation. It was well ran and absolutely spotless. There was no dust on any vent, no lightbulbs out, all the counter storage was neat and orderly, even above the fryer was clean and silver! The food was affordably priced and absolutely delicious. Our server told us theyre going on 100 years as a shop but it was closed for 3 years and reopened in September with a new owner, who was the cook for the night. I hoped it would be good and they smashed my expectations. Im not easy, Ive worked in restaurants (both good and bad) for about 20 years. I wish them all the success and if youre anywhere near this awesome little spot I highly suggest you stop in!

Definitely a local place that we never even knew about it. You can tell they have regulars. And being busy they still were efficient and friendly.

Nice little no frills hot dog shop on High Street. Prices are decent and service was quick. Good variety of menu items. Good for a get in, get out bite to eat under $10. Serves coke products. Its a hot dog place, so not sure what else people are expecting. Glad to see they re-opened.

Really good food and inexpensive with an old fashioned feel and decoration. Quick and friendly service! Definitely a great place to stop for lunch or dinner or if you just want to hang out and get milkshakes.

Went for lunch with some friends from church. We had a great server named April who done everything a good server should do. The food was good, fast and the prices were decent. Will definitely return again. Thanks for keeping this gem in Pottstown!

Friendly service, nice clean restaurant and kitchen area... The dining room is so classic, its great to have this historic Pottstown institution back in business. Prices are good, food arrives hot and tasty. The corn chowder and broccoli soup are so good, really something to write home about. I love the hoagie and steak rolls, they are fresh and the perfect blend of crusty chewy goodness. No complaints!
