We have been customers of Atlas Oil for several years. Knowing oil is delivered automatically is one less thing we need to remember to do. The delivery men are great, and Mary in the office is very helpful. We have nothing negative to report!!!

Costumer service isnt good at all they answer the phone all angry and arent helpful. The delivery times you are at their mercy, youll be told we will get it there when its there and they charge you whenever they want. I was charged before my delivery a few times and charged 3 weeks after another time. Just inconsistent and not very nice

We have been with this company for at least 7 years, using their budget plan in order to have certainty and consistency in our monthly payments. They have been very good and reliable. Unfortunately, this year they stopped offering the budget plan, so our choices were to pay for the whole years oil up front to get the low rate, or pay monthly according to market fluctuations. I called a different company and was able to get a budget plan. When I called Atlas back to cancel our longstanding account, they didnt seem sorry to lose a customer.
I called atlas oil on Monday 12-21-2020 and ordered oil.I paid for the oil on my credit card it’s been 7 days now and did not get my oil yet today is 12-28 2020 I’m not very happy with the service now.I. Texted message atlas oil and the don’t seem to care .I think customer service went down it not like it use to be.
Atlas Oil was such a delight to work with! I visited their office in Pottstown to pay for my oil and it was delivered the very next day! Very kind and informative customer service and the quick delivery was much appreciated! Keep it up, Atlas Oil!
Normally my fiance and I have a wonderful experience with this company. They are always on time and have very good prices. Recently though we had ordered 150 gallons of oil. Whoever was filling our tank that day put an extra 32 gallons in, that we did not order. My fiance tried calling customer service and talking to someone to see what he should do about the extra oil we would eventually have to pay for. The woman that he spoke to charged us and extra 40 cents for each of the 32 gallons that we did not order. Now we have to pay for extra postage so they can get their second check from us. We were very surprised at how they handled this situation.
We had been patronizing Atlas Oil since 2012. They were always courteous and very accommodating if we needed a delivery sooner rather than later.This year, over the holidays we lost track of our fuel oil situation and discovered our level was between an 1/8th and EMPTY on the gauge. The very next morning, a Thursday, my wife hand-delivered a check to the office on Farmington Ave. at 8:00 am, the moment they opened. The office staff asked the oil level and my wife very clearly advised that we were between an 1/8th and EMPTY.In years prior we may have gotten our fill the following day or maybe even the same day as we are just two miles away, so we assumed wed have a full tank in a day or two, but that type of service from Atlas Oil is apparently a thing of the past since they were acquired by Rhoads Energy in Lancaster, Pa.By Saturday morning our tank was on empty, but our check had already been cashed and cleared.We immediately contacted Atlas and received a response from Rhoads Energy customer service. It was then we were informed our delivery wasnt scheduled until Tuesday. I explained that the situation was urgent, but was told there were no deliveries on Saturday, sorry.I was also advised that typical lead time for will-call deliveries was 3 days NOT including weekends. I then questioned why the office staff, very clearly knowing our situation, did not advise my wife Thursday morning our delivery wouldnt be for 5 more days, but I got no further response.Had we known, we would have said no, thank you and called someone else for delivery. Instead they completely disregarded our situation and simply took our money, which essentially tied our hands.This will be the last purchase with Atlas Oil/Rhoads Energy.

I call, select a payment method, and my oil is usually delivered in 2 days. I have been using this company for years and I am happy with the service I receive. Not much to it other than that

I set up our account in 2013 - we require a phone call prior to delivery as the tank is behind a locked gate. They often did not do that and the driver would have to have them call and come back another time. Now the driver calls himself which is appreciated. Last year they started billing me late fees but not telling me of those fees as they stated they changed their terms, but the terms werent updated on their invoices yet. They were very rude about my not wanting to be charged for something I wasnt informed about and finally dropped the fee. This year I asked for updated terms in writing as I noticed the invoices still late fees after 30 days. They did not respond and billed me late fees for 2 months with no notice. They made another delivery, I paid in the same day - 2 days after they cashed my check, they mailed me a statement with late fees from October, showed I still owed them for the check they just cashed, and guess what - more late fees. Enough, I am canceling and moving on, I am not even going to call and argue with the very rude billing manager - thanks but no thanks. I took a poll on Phoenixvilles face book page - 69 responses with the majority recommending Emery Oil - making the change! Thx Phoenixville!
