They serve their crepes street style so theyre really easy to eat and theyre fantastically fluffy. I got banana nutella and the bananas were cooked to perfection.I had a London Fog which is an Earl Grey tea thing with vanilla and I had it with wheat milk and it was smooth and hot and wonderful.The place is cozy and friendly and of all things they sell a lot of local wines, alcohols, and hard lemonades.

Nice selection of coffees but a little limited on teas. I loved that they had both almond milk and oak milk. They are also fairly allergy aware and try to reserve a blender for that need. Its the sort of very relaxed atmosphere where you can get a drink and sit and relax for an hour and read so it ranks high on my return list.

It was my first time coming here and the place was great! Its really cozy and they sell a lot of locally made jewelry. The barista was so nice and the drinks were good.

This place is beautiful. The Decor resembles the Hudson valley NY and the food is high quality as well. I hope they eventually stay open later! Because when you are there you never want to leave.

Nice, quiet space with a decidedly hipster vibe. We tried an egg wrap crepe and it was good. The book nook is fantastic, well-lit and cozy. I could probably spend the better part of a whole day in there. Well definitely be back.

This place is one of my favorite little gems. Great fresh food and coffee that isnt bitter, over roasted trash like all of the other gourmet shops sell. Plus, theres books!

Came for the books, stayed for the delicious treats. Their egg wrap is unusual but so yummy. Matcha latte was perfection. A chill, high quality, simple yet elegant place. Book selection was a small but potent collection of affordable used books. Found some LeGuin, some Plath, and a book I havent seen in years: The Age of Huts by Ron Silliman.

I cant seem to find the option for 10 stars?!??!Pressed has always been our go to place for a grab and go coffee, an uplifting place to sit after a bad day at work, and the perfect meet up location to introduce a friend to Pottsville for the first time.BUT - I am finally forced to write this review because the team at Pressed has been KILLING IT during this global pandemic. Amidst everything going on, they havent skipped a beat to adjust to the circumstances and continue to offer the same high quality products and service as always. Actually, they have even managed to introduce new ideas in this time like delivery (always with social distancing, gloves, and a mask) and the Food Hub.We look forward to ordering Pressed at least once a week and are consistently greeted with delicious crepes and drinks by the friendliest faces around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My sweet husband surprised me by taking me here after a stressful morning - and this place was wonderful. We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful cashier, Ian, and ordered Americanos and a PB + Jelly crepe. We skimmed their library while enjoying the music, food and drinks. Would definitely come back again!!

This coffee literally tastes like moldy diarrhea. It has a similar consistency as well. When I decided to stop sipping on my swamp water they called coffee, I trucked on over to the register to cash out and get on up out of that place. She told me my total was 6.69 which made me excited but then angered me because I feel thats inexcusable for toilet bowl flavored water. I paid, left, and quickly rushed to wash my palette clean with Drano.

Was having a bad day during my time with my Daughter. I figured that I would get a treat for my kid after I couldnt upgrade her phone. I had only been to Pressed after hours, so I was unsure of their menu. After being greeted and asked how our day was going by a beautiful, dark-haired woman. I asked what she would get if she thought would be a good treat for my Daughter. She recommended the Crepes. Smores Crepes to be exact. It was delicious. My Daughter was happy. A bad day turned good. Thank you again.

I LOVED this coffee shop!! I might be bias since it consisted of my two favorite things; coffee and books. This coffee shop is adorable and I loved the little book shop attached. I ordered a vanilla latte to go and it was very good. I wish I could of stayed and enjoyed my coffee at the shop and perused the books longer, but due to our time restraints that was not an option.The service was great and fast and the vibe of this coffee shop is awesome. I’m so sad we don’t have one of these close to where I live. I would definitely be a regular if that was the case.

Wonderful place! It’s a gem in this county! Seriously wonderful staff, great food and drink, tasty food. Their aesthetic inside is comforting, tasteful, and modern. Their books are much cheaper than going to Barnes and Noble. I stopped in before prom and had a blast with friends, and the staff kept up with orders even though we were a group of 10+ people. Well done!

Really liked this nice contemporary tea and coffee shop just down the hill from the Yuengling brewery. The space is open, white fixtures with pine accents. Old books for sale line the counters. Friendly greeting with a pretty varied tea my menu served paper cup with bag sandwiched in to steep. The spinach feta quiche was excellent. We didnt try the coffee but noticed a good espresso machine with several options and some fun custom drinks. Overall really enjoyed our half hour break here.

The London fog is hands down the best Ive ever had, so much better than I was expecting. Also, great books at a great price, walked away with a few for reading, already went through one and fell in love with the series. The food was also really good. Need to relax and have a tea and read? Have studying to do and could use a coffee? This place is perfection.

First time here and i got a coffee and a muffin. Both were very good and the service was top notch. Nice little place but wish there was a better view. Really enjoyed it and will definitely return.

This is a lovely little shop. Its a clean place with a pleasant, fresh take on a coffee shop. Pressed Coffee & Books is a place I wish I could sit and read a book at all day (but of course I dont have a full day to sit at a coffee shop). Awesome stop and worth the little bit more money for coffee for the quality of drink.

Finally a coffee shop with REAL coffee in Pottsville, Pa! Service is top notch and my cappuccino was deliciously perfect! I ordered a Turkey Cheddar with spicy mayo crepe it was very VERY good, so good I went back and tried a sweet crepe, lemon curd and powdered sugar, which was to die for! Its like a hot lemon square only better!Id highly recommend this Pressed Coffee & Books shop! Stop by for a quick bite to eat and sip some delicious coffee!

Very positive atmosphere in this coffee house. You can have a really bad day outside but, take a seat order up a wonderful full bodied cup of their great coffee and just breathe. Afterwards you can feel like anything is possible to do.

My husband and I didn’t have high hopes for this shop because the images on google make it look cold and uninviting, and it was packed with moms and kids on the day we went. But it’s a cute little place with many more books than you can see from the outside. We got a coffee and a couple of books. And a stranger approached us and we had a delightful conversation about Doctor Who. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about Doctor Who. We’ll definitely return.

Pottsville is not a big place so there are limited coffee shop options. Had a good cappuccino and a savory crepe — nice because not many light lunch options nearby. Clean, good light, small used book shop-let in back, friendly staff. Will look forward to coming back.

Being self employed can be tough and especially stressful. But with Pressed, they hooked me up with an 8oz drip and a delicious chamomile hot tea paired with a pbj crepe for my toddler. Just what I needed. Also, HOW cool was it that they have a typewriter there that everyone can add inspirational thoughts onto!!And lets not forget about the books, while my impatient and hungry 2 year old was waiting, we got to sit in a comfortable chair and enjoy some age appropriate books. They have all genres, I even asked if I could donate a few. :) Thumbs up guys!!

Amazing place!! It’s super cute and aesthetic! It’s one of my favorite places to go after school. They have amazing food and the staff is super friendly! Honestly, it’s one of the best things that happened to Pottsville in a long long time!!

I visited the shop on a recommendation from a friend plus walking past it every day doesnt hurt. The smells that come from it are amazing.The store is clean and the staff professional. It has a comfortable feeling in the front but I didnt have time to look in the back where they have most of their books.The Chai Latte was delicious and made right in front of me so I know there werent any hidden powders or mixes.I will frequent this place - often.

I liked the atmosphere. I liked the vibe. The server was very nice and helpful. The coffee was nothing to write home about. I ordered an Americano and it was bitter. I like a strong coffee, but that wasnt the issue. I have to say it was roaring hot, which may have contributed to the bitternessk scalding the beans). I cant tell if the beans were freshly ground or not.I felt like I can make a better tasting cup of coffee at home on my Aeropress or in my French press, but theres something about going to a nice shop and sipping a coffee. We will come again.

Not im-Pressed at all... price is comparable to other local places, but the regular “drip” was more-that of a gas station and the self-serve accommodations for only half and half and a diner-style sugar pourer in a closet-type service station were not welcoming. If I had more time, I’m sure I would have enjoyed the ambiance of the quaint and quiet, library-type setting and the echoes of people wanting to hear themselves speak, but I was in for a good cup of Joe and I got Jay. Maybe it’s not my type of place.
