American Surgical Supply is just a middle man store, It gladly takes your money without responsibility!! Waiting for days to receive my order. I dont recommend this supply store.

They need the ability and willingness to do some of the insurance and doctor leg work. And need better communication assets for this. They were very kind and worked with me to get something to get us threw at a very good price. They also need to stock more supplies and be an actual supplier. Use a warehouse or something instead of the middle man role they are currently doing.

MINDY, an employee, is solely responsible for me dealing with American Surgical ! If there is something she does not know, she pleasantly does the research!From my point of view, Mindy is KEY to the success of American Surgical. Hopefully, her efforts are appreciated.When someone is spending thousands of dollars or $10.00, no part of which is reimbursed by insurance, the least an owner can do, which was eventually done, is walk out and greet their customers! This is smart even if they were unable to make a sale for whatever reason!

Was given a price for the product I needed over the phone. When I arrived the price was nearly double. The girl at the counter said WELL THAT WAS A MISTAKE. Refused to honor the price. Ill never go there again.

No selection they have 1 style wheelchair,it is the cheapest model I have seen. I am looking to buy a high end wheelchair 2000.00 to 2800.00 dollars and t g ey dont even have special order chairs.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would.BEWARE! All sales are final. That is never a good thing. I bought medical equipment at other places and returned them no problem. This place you cannot. That should have been my first clue that this is not a good place, but I didnt know the policy until I was already done picking out the much needed last minute supplies for my mother who came to live with me on very short notice.We also got a piece of garbage grab bar set for the toilet. $50 and its unstable and now were stuck with something that is of no use. This place really takes advantage of people.This is really not good business because I had planned on going back to buy some very expensive motorized wheelchair batteries at $96 a piece and I also need a hospital bed and several other things, but I will not go back there again.Consider yourself warned.

This place gave me a CPAP machine that was so out of date that my pulmonologist’s staff had not seen the model for several years. When I told the company what my doctor’s staff said they became extremely rude. When I was there waiting for help with that problem I saw a picture of their respiratory therapist and it was not the woman who gave me instructions on the machine. That then made sense since the woman I talked to seemed to have no clue about sleep apnea.

This place is out to make money ONLY!!!!!!! Told me that if I wanted to go through my insurance It could take up to 48 hours! I needed what I went in for immediately. So, I asked how do I get in touch with their people that handle the insurance to help me as a customer and was told “they can’t give that information out.” Signs all over the place that say “ all sales are final.” Right there that tells you something is very fishy with this “Mom & POP” store. NO this is not the way a Mom and Pop store works. Giving them one star is NOT what I want to give them, I want to give them a 1/4 star for that is about all they are worth. Customer beware !!!

Worst service and lack of knowledge Ive ever had to deal with!The women who work here are rude and incompetent.I had to order an unloader brace for my knee and opted to get it from here as my doctor was in Philadelphia and I thought it would be more convenient to get everything done closer to home.First, I dropped of the script and wait 8 days until I called back to ask about the status of my brace. I was treated very rude on the phone and was finally told that they needed a new script from my doctor because it didnt have a diagnosis on it. But they didnt call me to tell me this, for 8 days!So I called my doctor on a Friday and asked to have the new script faxed over.Then, the following Monday, I call ASS again and they tell me that they havent received the new script, so again, I contact my doctors office. Tuesday, I call ASS and they say, oh yeah, we got the new script last Friday faxed over to us! What??? Really???So now, I wait two more weeks, still nothing...two weeks and three days after these first incidents, they finally call to tell me it has come in.Today, I go to pick up the brace and guess what!?!? It needs to be adjusted by my doctor! But the woman told me it was a universal brace. I also told her that I was getting it ordered there because I didnt want to have to drive to Philadelphia but had I known it needed the adjustments from the start, I wouldve just gone through my doctor, made the drive and had it done correctly the first time and probably wouldve had it taken care of in much less time.These women have no idea what they are doing and were more interested in ordering their lunch than taking care of their customers!I will never go to this place ever again and will drive two hours, rather than ever having to deal with these idiot women ever again!

This place has the worst customer service and are downright rude and shady. I went there for compression socks and I was told they do not submit to insurance for compression socks = $54 cash, there wasnt enough volume to make it worthwhiIe. I had contacted my insurance, and was told the compression socks were covered at 85% and that American Surgical Supply was a preferred provider. After leaving the store and telling my wife what happened she called the store and the man that answered was rude to her when she advised him as a preferred provider he needed to submit the claim to the insurance company. He told her he could submit whatever he wanted to and wasnt going to do it. My wife ended the call and called Blue Cross. Bottom line he needs to submit these claims and Blue Cross will be calling him. We wonder what other supplies he sells that he refuses to submit insurance claims for and charges his patrons cash prices so he makes a maximum profit.UPDATE - 8/4/20 I read in the news that this place was charged by the state for price gauging for face masks and other PPE during the current global pandemic. GOOD!

WORST COMPANY EVER!! Told me I didnt need the compression that was prescribed from a Vascular DR and I bought two pair. When my swelling in my leg continued, I went to another supplier and ordered the stronger compression, and that took care of the problem. I immediately returned the unopened stockings and told them to return the money to the insurance company for the unused pair.. When I called weeks later, the money was never returned!! They kept it!! So that left me with no ability to have my insurance pay for my third set, which Im entitled to. Wouldnt recommend them to ANYONE.. Most unprofessional company Ive ever dealt with!!

This is the worst store I’ve ever been to, and they also have another store called Keystone Medical. The employee Jessica and the managers are so disrespectful. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Horrible place.

Excellent service in-store in morning hours. Unfortunately, in the evening, i had a much more difficult experience on the phone with actual office personnel.
