Did you know that a German Company makes the best vacuums? Neither did I until I visited there today! They have them at Poway Vacuum and Sewing and they are flying out the door!! You so need to check these vacuums out!!! Check out this high speed vacuum in these pics below!So I went to see them the other day because my Upholstery Tool broke. Probably because of all the cat hair!! Lol No problem they have replacement parts in stocks and I was on my way! Thank you again so much! Cleaned out my closet and found all kinds of parts from different vacuums. Brought them in and found these awesome floor attachments for wood floors with rubber wheels and another attachment that works great on cat hair!!!

Prices are incredibly fair. I live 30 minutes away. There are other repair places closer to me. The drive here is more than worth it!

These days when neighborhood stores are disappearing all over the country, Poway Vacuum stands as a shiny example what such stores might mean to us. I have been going to this place for nearly thirty years and never felt cheated or disappointed. I hope my vacuum cleaners lasted as long as it did. I have a troublesome Dyson. They replaced my battery for free even though I missed the warranty time by a few days. Thats what a neighborhood store does.

Incredible service. Dropped off a broken power head... They had it fixed by the time I got home. Also repaired a couple pedals in the process. Definitely the place to go for central vac service and parts.

Poway Vacuum and Sewing has been amazing to work with. They are the best repair service in San Diego. They always get our Miele vacuums fixed quickly and are great communicators. They are very honest and never overcharge. I cant say enough about their awesome customer service.

This review is overdue on the Excellent service I received at Poway Vacuum for my Bissell ProHeat 2X. The pump assembly was clogged from lack of use and needed to be changed out as well as the front nozzle. I was told that it would take a couple days. They changed and fixed all within one day. When I picked it up it looked brand new. I think they detailed it as well. Works beautifully. Staff was easy going. Ill go back again when needing something for my vacuum cleaner.

So happy that we found Poway Vacuum. Russ provided excellent service in store while purchasing updated equipment on an existing central vacuum in our new home. He then serviced our machine and made a repair to increase its power. He was quick and efficient. And now we have a 10 year old system that is like new.

These folks are amazing. I took my 14 years old Dyson DC 14 to them for service and repair. The pricing was reasonable and my vacuum is like new. Took a week or so but they did great. I will definitely use them again.

Great family business! I brought my 2 sewing machines in to be cleaned and tuned up.They were fast and their work is100% guarenteed. I messed up on one of the machines, I brought it back in and Ross the owner opened it and made some fixes, I was able to walk out with my machine working again.....even thought it was my fault, there was no charge! I highly recommend Poway Vacuum and Sewing!They have quality workmanship and very friendly service!

This is a great store. They carry many the best machines money can buy.I purchased a vacuum cleaner from here made in Germany.Was apprehensive at first about the price, but knock wood Ive had it nearly 10 years and have NOT had 1 issue with it...and it still cleans as if it were new!Their service/repairs are reliable, fair priced, and fast.Their customer service is awesome. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I’ve used them before for vac repair but this time I took in my old sewing machine for repair. While there I asked if they sell new machines, Russ spend a half hour with me before I even committed to a new machine. His service is phenomenal! I ended up buying a Necchi knowing he is in town if I ever have a problem. He’ll donate my old machine for me. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them. BUY LOCAL!

Called a few companies before I called Poway Vacuum. Talked to Russ and he really explained the whole system to me. Then he came out to look at my home to make sure it was a good option. I really liked what he said so I scheduled an install and am thrilled with the finished product ! Very careful to make sure it was all done to look like it had always been a part of my house. I took my 15 year old Sharp Twin Energy vacuums here and told them I thought I needed a new vacuum. They said All it needed was a good cleaning. I got it back a week later as good as new. They fixed the power cord; which had a hole in it & made it work. I came home and vacuumed the carper and the fibers stood up. My carpet looked great. The people were friendly and very helpful. They could of sold me a new vacuum, but they were honest and just fixed my old on. It only cost me $40.00. I also have a cordless vac for the hardwood/carpet that was making a bad noise. They fixed that too for $25.00. I am sooooooo happy. My floors look great.

I brought my machine in because it wasnt working correctly and was pleased that the associate was able to show me what I was doing wrong!! In addition to solving that problem, he kindly showed me how to use some other functions on my machine that had previously been a mystery. I offered to pay him for his time and he declined to accept, but reminded me to bring it back for servicing.

As a fashion designer for swimwear I rely on sewing machines that can get the job done. I purchased a Singer Serger a year ago online and that was a mistake. The tension was off and I was unable to see my swim pieces. I called this shop and spoke with Jessie the sales clerk who also repairs seeing machines. He was very informative and suggested a certain machine for my needs. The price he quoted for the machine was not unreasonable either. I went in and found Bernina machines which are well known in the sewing world. I ended up with a Bernette b44 funlock serger. I brought it home and it works like a dream. I was able to see my swim pieces and get ready for upcoming season and shows. This shop honors warranties and will match prices of their competitors. It is nice to be able to talk to a live person about this and have a shop I can go to for help or supplies. Awesome customer service and I will be using them for help for now on.

Poway Vac and Sew is a great Bernina Sewing Machine dealer. They carry a full line of Isacord Embroidery Thread, OESD Stabilizers, and all Bernina sewing machine feet and tools. Jesse is the best sewing machine tech in the area. He services all brands of sewing machines. He keeps up to date on all things Bernina. All this, and they sell and service great vacuums too. And to top it off, FREE Estimates. If you need sewing machine or vacuum service, you cant do wrong stopping at Poway Vacuum and Sewing.

They helped me out quickly to accommodate my having small children with me. The owner performed a cleaning of my vacuum, in store, and when I brought it home it was like a new vacuum. I was completely impressed. It was affordable service, very kind salesmen and I will absolutely go again.

Awesome Staff and Shop!! I discovered this store a few months ago, through a friend. I live in Temecula, driving to Poway is a hour plus drive depending on traffic. But sew worth the time and miles. I own a couple Bernina sewing machines. Jesse is PVSC Berninas technician, extremely knowledgeable a outstanding technician Bernina schooled/educated which is not always the case at some sewing shops. PVSC offers classes for the Berninas, full range of machines, accessories and notions. Plus full range of vacuums and services.

Very small town store feel. Friendly, helpful, honest. Ive been coming here for 25 years to maintain my central vac system, and if they cant help right away they know how to fix it soon. Russ, the owner, is there every day and seems to personally oversee all the repairs. Housecalls too! These guys wont do you wrong. Fair and honest... If theres a less expensive fix theyll let you know and not just try to sell you new equipment.

Poway Vacuum saved me from buying a new vacuum with a complete service of my Dyson. Showed me where all filters were (especially one I didnt even know was there) and replaced a switch to bring it back like new!! Ill be bringing it back for service along with a carpet cleaner that needs a little attention!

They really know everything there is to know about what to use, whether for a specific job or an all purpose machine. Also there is a very knowledgeable man there for sewing machines. They do what they know very well for a great price, pluss everyone there is so nice!

Took my Roomba here. They were very friendly and nice and spent 45 minutes cleaning and playing with it trying to fix it. Ultimately they were unable to fix it, but they didnt change me a dime!

Had our Nutone central vacuum repaired by them. Dave and Russ were totally professional and I couldnt be happier with their outstanding service. Highly recommend!

OMG i own a Construction Cleaning company, this is my favorite and only Vacuum store. The staff assist me with excellent choices for my 10 man team to use. The service is awesome, the knowable staff is amazing. All attachments, all floor cleaning supplys are always there in when i request. I count on this supply store to keep my business running smooth.

I have been a customer for decades, for my personal Miele vacuum (11 years old and still awesome) and my company vacuums - Sanitaires, Sebo, and Riccar. I have a rug wash and repair shop and vacuums are the most important care step for rugs, different models better for different rugs. The team here at Poway Vacuum has been awesome with recommending machines, repairing, maintaining, and always at very affordable prices. I would not go anywhere else. And I only refer them to my clients looking for vacuums.

Got a new Miele vacuum from Russ at Poway Vacuum. Was looking at Hoover & a Bernina vacuum and ended up going with a Miele and Im very happy with the results.

Very disappointed with their lack of Customer Service ...they broke my machine while servicing, and while I know accidents happen, the lack of communication regarding repair has been horrible! I was told it would likely be fixed 3 days ago or at minimum they would call me with update at end of the day ....never happened. I told them that time was of the essence because I have projects in the works that I must finish. I have yet to receive a call from them, each day I have to call them or I hear nothing. As it stands, today is day 4 and I still do not have my machine or any info regarding timeline to fix ...I have decided to drive over the shop today. So very fustrating!Update: HORRIBLE service!! I called before driving by and was told by employee that, it is in the line-up. We are very busy and will get to it as soon as we can!I expressed my fustration that I had been told it was being worked on 4 days ago ...I asked to speak to the owner but was told he was with a customer and would call when he was done. I did not hear back within an hour, so I decided to drive by ....horrible experience!! He yelled at me immediately that I was expecting too much, he was working 14 hours a day and I was adding to his stress. I said (yes, I yelled back...not my finest moment) that he was stressing me and that he was the one that has lied to me at every turn stating that he was working on my machine ...I stated that I wanted my machine and already had a PFAFF specialist lined up to fix it. He continued to yell (he was out of control) but finally gave me my machine back!! Repairs are being made at Paradise Sewing only a few blocks away.2nd update: Machine fixed and working beautifully ... fortunately Paradise sewing notice that the wrong light bulb have been put in by Poway Vacuum. Had this not been discovered, its likely that the computer unit in my machine would have been blown costing thousands. Once again I reiterate, stay away from Poway Vacuum & Sewing.
