It was a short, but nice visit. I did notice that it was very clean, well stocked, and organized. The only employee I saw, and talked with was the cashier. She was friendly, and efficient.

Its a good store with many art items available but not all items are good quality stuff. I bought water color for my grand daughter and its pretty rough. It dries quickly. She didnt like it.

No stock, high pricing. Better off at the dollar store.

This was the best Michael’s experience ever. Usually in Enicnitas and Mission Valley you wait and wait for assistance. When someone finally comes to help they have no idea about products or how to use them. Two associates were helping me get the canvases and bring them to my car and help me load them. This is the only Michael’s I’ll visit from now on. I wish I got their names they were both great women that were eager to help.

Not handicap accessible, center aisles are filled at critical junctions making it near impossible to use a wheelchair or electric cart, and if I walk myself the line times have me standing for a very long time which is the worst thing for me. Also their online store always lists them as being out of items that they have in stock so I cant just shop for pickup.

It was nice to visit a smaller sized Michaels, it felt more mom and pop-ish rather than the larger ( Walmart-feel sized Michaels) Ive been to before.Great staff, fairly clean and they seemed fully stocked. This might have to be my new Go-To Michaels!Kudos team.

Waited for half hour in line and only one cashier who took forever. i only had one item and when I tried to tell them they needed to call in another cashier the excuse was covid. i plan never to go back to this unstaffed covid business.

Love love love Michaels! However, Ive been there twice when the had done a big online order earlier in the day & were out of what I needed.

Actually the first time I was able to get some help on the salesfloor at any of these stores. Usually they are short staffed and only use staff to restock, organize and ring and customer service tends to a minimal focus.

Not a whole lot of parking available at this Michaels. Not a whole lot of customer service available.

The bead and jewelry making section is small compared to other Michaels stores in the United States. I was pretty disappointed.

So I went in to purchase paint brushes. I had one item. I stood in line over 15 minutes because they had two cashiers were helping customers with 2 shopping carts full of merchandise.The other employees were outside chatting, waiting for drive-up customers. So, bad management of employees.

We booked a party for my daughter here and online it states that invitations are included. They never gave us any and it has been a run around to get an answer about this and on top of that they only have blank invitations. The themed ones wont be in for a week or two weeks and in that time frame my daughter and her class will be out for Winter Break. Her birthday is the 28TH of December so it is already hard enough to get a party together around this time. Plus we live in Lakeside but she goes to school in Poway because if I need help, my parents live in Poway. I went in yesterday and apparently only certain people know about the whole birthday party information which is highly unprofessional IMO and I never received a phone call back. I had to call today to be told I can get a pack of blank invitations. Again highly unprofessional to not have the items needed and for not EVERYONE who works there KNOWS about birthday parties so that they can answer questions about it when someone has a question. So now I have to use blank invitations to invite kids to a 5 year olds birthday party not to mention have to drive out of my way to pick them up when I was JUST THERE yesterday. Would have been so much easier if they trained their staff more sufficiently. 🙄

Quiet, easy to socially distance and easy to spend $

Michaels is a great place to go for artists who are beginners. I am a advanced artist but like the quality of their products to mix colors. The brand Artist Loft is great. They do have high end art supplies but the brands and options are not as excellent as Blicks Art store in Little Italy San Diego.

Wow, what great service! The employees are knowledgeable and willing to help and answer any questions you may have. I was a happy shopper for much longer than I planned LOL one item quickly turned into a shopping list of what I have been meaning to get because of them.

This review is for their picture frame glass cost only.OMG! They want $46 for one piece of clear thin glass 18 x 19 cut to size. Nothing else.It costs $10 at my local glass store.Dont buy glass here.

A great craft store for their size and locations. I generally can find something to help with a project. Their coupons have been integral in art project for my kids classrooms. Planning ahead is all it takes.

One of the newer locations so its nice and clean compared to some of the older stores in town. Its easy to get to and parking usually isnt a problem.

This store has a little of everything. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. Everyone is friendly. However the location can be pretty messy depending on the day. Most likely due to heavy traffic being in Poway central.

Great service! Employees helped find a special cookie cutter needed for my baby shower. Dfound it online but could not locate in store. Turns out it was in a bin on top of all the racks. Minus a star for not allowing me to use more than one coupon at checkout.

Since they moved to this location, I think theyve expanded the amount of things they sell there, though the wood working section is a little small (seems like there are more wooden house type kits at every other Michaels I go to). Thats the only negative though. Staff had always been friendly knowledgable, its generally very very clean here and theres always a lot of fun stuff for holiday shopping.

Always fun. Bonus, Halloween items were 70% off! Lol.

Only craft store in a 10-15 mile radius to this location. They have a good selection, but are sometimes lacking the one-off things you may be looking for. Not as big of a selection as Hobby Lobby. Lines are long close to holidays - they need a little more help at check out.

Very nice, new store. Smaller than some, but they have the same items, if not as many of each on display. The designer in the floral department does very nice work, the seasonal Items especially are lovely. There never seem to be enough people to handle check out and the line was quite long, but the checkers were very friendly.
